Is it just me... am I the only one who hated this foundation? No matter how I applied it, sponge, foundation brush, fingers, I could not build any coverage. It also change colors on me during the day and it looked like I had a mask on my face. Just an awful foundation for me. Lucky I work for the company store and only had to pay for a little over $5 for this product.

I really love this foundation, it works great. I use the Classic Ivory though. It covers completely and goes on smooth. The colors and shades in this foundation seem pretty close to what they're called, I don't know how they say it, but it wasn't orangy, it was actually the Ivory I was for my complexion. It lasts a long time, too. You don't have to use as much. I'm not sure if it's this or the powder that make me break out sometimes.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! a reason i love this product soo much is because it is actually the first foundation that actually helped my skin (overtime). i had a few patches of lighter skin. It has great coverage. I loved how easy it was to put on and not cakey. I would definitly pat with a sponge and then brush in with a nice ffoundation brush. It doesn't weigh me down. the only problem is..is that it did make me break out for a small time. and then started its promised effects on skin. GREAT product

I, too, am crushed this was discontinued. It is just the best makeup I have ever used for my acne-prone skin. Softest Gold was just the right shade for me, too. I am going to email Neutrogena and encourage them to re-market this formula, under a new name if necessary. If more people would contact companies about discontinued products they like, maybe it would have some impact.

next to Teint Idole Ultra from Lancome, this is superb. I scored 2 of the original formula recently for under $5. I realize i am lucky as i heard some unflattering things about the new formula. Original formula has great coverage, wears well, blends fairly easily, and doesnt accentuate any of the small flakes from my combination skin, which tends to be oily but i get the dryness too. Combo skin is hard to explain sometimes. Anyway, it also doesnt crease and seperate much. it does a bit if the weather's super hot or whatever, but, for the most part, it behaves. and i get no weird little breakouts or clogged pores along my jawline or on my neck (this was also mentioned in my reviews of the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra). and, get this: i scored it for 4.79 at a local store that still has the old cosmetic displays. I see the newer version is over $11 and with all the bad reviews on it, I am glad i paid $4 for the original. It wears well, nees a pressed powder touchup after about an 8 hr work day. Love it. not quite as much as the Lancome one mentioned above, but close.i will repurchase if i find more.
