Ehhh. This blush is just ok. I dont really find this anything special. Its a purpley pink with a light shimmer. Its a little dark for my NW 20 skintone but it doesnt look horrible. Wont be repurchasing even if it werent limited edition.

This is definitively my go to blush for winter/fall. It gives a very natural flushed look to my cheeks. So glad I bought it at my CCO. I kinda wanna buy a backup of it now, I love it so much!

I bought this blush last weekend at the CCO and I think I am in love. In the pan, it looks like a weird, scary purple. But on my super pale cheeks it just looks like this beautiful, rosy, mauvey, just got in from the cold type of color. I ADORE IT! It is really easy to go overboard on, so use a light hand. I have more than once applied it and then had to buff it out to get the desired amount...an easy solution to the clown problem. This is my new favorite blush and really my first diversion from pink blushes. I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of skin tone. The packaging on the other hand...yeesh. Not cute. But I forgive MAC for hiding this beautiful product in an ugly suit. It is gorgeous and if you can find it at your CCO, I suggest you pick it up!

I found this at a CCO while I was outlet shopping. I had to pick it up because it was so different from any other blush color that I have. The color is highly pigmented with a plummy tone to it. It's perfect for fall/winter! This blush has a smooth consistency with a matte-like finish. So glad I found this!

This blush looks scarily dark in the pan, but as with all MAC blushes it is very pigmented so you don't need to use much. Once on, it is a lovely cool-toned pink/mauve natural looking blush. Right now I'm just wearing a single swipe for a natural look, but you could certainly build it up if you wanted to. Nice matte finish, which I prefer as I can always add a highlighter if I want to, but you can't take it away if the blush has shimmer "built in".
The packaging is a bit weird - what's with the zebra stripes? Still, the product is great and I would definitely buy it again, except that given the size and that I prefer a natural look, I'm unlikely to ever run out! Me: NW 15-20, dark brown hair and eyes.

I love all mac blushes. they are highly pigmented, easy to apply and very buildable. this one is one of my favs. its a beautiful rosy purple on my NC40-42 skin. looks great when paired with grey smoky eyes and nude lips, or just eyeliner and mascara =D

I have only been really delving into MAC for the last year, and I now see the hype over the beauty powder blushes released with LE collections. They're super smooth and feel great and light going on. I actually didn't start using this blush until the fall (the purple tint to this one worked well for me with "fall/winter" makeup). I'll definitely be trying more beauty powder blushes in the future based on the texture and wear of this one, and I would consider a backup if this color is repromoted. My only complaint here is the packaging--I wasn't a fan of the Style Warriors design overall, but that's just a very minor complaint!

NC40/42, C40
I purchased this blush when the style warriors collection first came out. I wore the blush about 3 times and I wasn't sold on the color. It looked muddy and with slight red tone. I swapped this blush away.
My local CCO had some of the Style Warriors collection and I decided to give this blush another try. I used a different brush this time and I was happy with the results. I used my 187 and the finish looked smooth and well blended. It gave my face a nice glow. With my other brush (129) it applied to much color and I couldn't blend it out.
In the pan, the blush looks like it has some shimmer, but once you apply it, there are no shimmers. This color is perfect for summer time. With the correct application, this blush won't look muddy.
I am not a fan of the packaging. :( I'm glad I gave this blush another try.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this blush. I got this from the style warriors collection from summer 2009.
Really nice blush, I LOVE the formulation of the beauty powder blushes. They're not powdery at all, and somehow it doesn't really leave a dent even after you've used it for quite a while.
It looks purply/pummy in the pan, but it does go on a little pinker on the skin but its really pretty. You can wear this all year around. Its not completely matte, as it has a bit of shimmer particles in the pan, but its not noticeable when you put it on. I hate chalky blushes (mac matte formula blushes ahem) but this goes on REALLY smooth. I LOVE it!!
This is a limited edition so if you can find it at a CCO then get it!

I really like this blush. Don't love, but I like. I am a NC45, and it looks great on my skintone. I just recently purchased this blush in a swap, I already have Eversun from this collection, and I LOVE it. The only drawback on On A Mission is that it wasn't pigmented enough for me. I had to really get my brush in it, swiping several times to get the color amount that I wanted. I usually never have to do this for MAC blushes. Other reviews were saying how great the pigmentation was, but mine wasn't like that at all, oh well. And I love the packaging. :)

I absolutely adore this blush, especially paired with Lovely Lily pigment to highlight. It's such a gorgeous plum color and I love the way it looks on my super pale skin.

A nice purple-y blush. Great for neutral looks. It just add a bit of punch to the cheeks to pop. It complements my skintone too (NC25-30).

On a Mission is absolutely gorgeous in the pan .. but after three tries, I'm still not won over by this one. Time will tell if it will remain in my stash. I'm surprised to see other reviews on similar skintones to mine, state this blush was overly pigmented. I actually found this one to be pretty sheer on my MMM/NC40 skintone. I have to use a couple of dustings of this to get any noticeable color payoff. That said, it's a great sheer mauve that would undoubtedly, look incredible on someone a bit lighter than me. Not my favorite mauve blush, but one I'm sure will remain part of my stash for times when I need a hint of color to balance smokier eyes.

When I first saw this blush, I was hesitant to get it because I thought it would be too dark for my skin (NC35), and I was right. I love all BPB and own basically all of them. While the texture for OaM matches what I love about BPB (the added glowiness, the pigmentation), I feel this color looks muddy on me. Maybe I just don't care for plum/mauve-y pink blushes, but this one just isn't doing it for me, which is unfortunate because I love all BPB and would hate to have to return this. I will hold onto it though, and figure out the best way to wear it because initially I didn't like NARS's Outlaw, but I finally got it to work. So that's what I'll do for OaM, just figure it out.

This is definitely not my favorite MAC blush, but it's a nice color and a great product. It's extremely pigmented so a very very light hand is needed with this stuff. A little goes a long way! On my C3 skin, if I'm not careful with it I wind up looking sunburned. But, if it's applied carefully it is pretty. I don't really care for the gold packaging, but then again who really cares about what the packaging looks as long as it's a good product? I wouldn't buy this color again, but I definitely don't regret buying it and hopefully it'll grow on me in time!

OMG. My new HG blush. I am so happy I ended up buying this. I love the beauty powder blushes. This gives such a nice glow to your cheeks. It is kind of a plummy-pink color. It is just gorgeous! thats all I can say. Every girl should have this blush! Oh but I hate the packaging! Its ugly

I love going to the MAC counter lately, the blushes are so gorgeous! I kept passing this one though but after reading the reviews on MUA i decided to go over to Nordstrom and give it a try. This color looks like purple, the color of bruises thats why i stayed away. when i put it on my hand i was pleasantly surprised, the color was a gorgeous pinkish plum but more pink! after i bought it i put some on in the car and my face was instantly brighter. this is a definite keeper! hate the package though i think the gold looks cheap!
update: this blush is still a beautiful color on me but i think it might be breaking my cheeks out. the other mac blushes dont so idk what is different about this one! took a lippie off

I broke out On a Mission tonight for the first time, and I know, it will become my daily go-to blush on a regular basis through October - February.
Rather than giving a real, plum, Barney purple tint, OAM goes on a beautiful, mid-range, deep pink with a touch of mauve. It's not a reddened-pink like Dollymix or a babydoll pink a la NYX Pinky or NARS Desire. It goes on a lovely, just-in-from-the-cold pink on my fair, neutral-cool undertoned skin. [N3/NW15/MUFEHD110].
That said, I don't know how comfortable I feel rocking this with a smokey eye and lip gloss. Maybe it's my aversion to brights or the fact that I lost my blush virginity in February of '09, but I feel like with a done up eye & pale pink gloss, that this was too much. I buffed it out with my kabuki and it looked nice. But if I plan on just applying it to my cheeks with a skunk brush, I'll probably just be throwing on mascara & tinted lip balm.
The pigmentation on this is grand. Personally, I didn't notice any really glitter or glitziness in this on me. It went on more a satin finish on my cheeks.
Love the packaging, too. continued >>

I'm pleasantly surprised that this blush works so well on my skin tone. I have fair-medium warm toned skin and i thought this blush would be too cool for my skin, judging from the swatches i saw online, the description on the MAC website also stated that it was plum. I automatically assumed that it would look unnatural on me but i got it anyway just for the packaging, i can't believe so many people don't like it! When i finally got to see the product in person i noticed that it has warm shimmery particles thorough it, so this will work for all skin colours. It comes up as a really natural flush on my cheeks, it's like a mix between plum, coral, pink....it's just perfect! the formula is great too, very finely milled and applies and blends wonderfully. Love the pigmentation, not as pigmented as some of the permanent blushes and not as sheer as the HK blush (which barely shows up). I would buy this again.
