I have combination skin, slightly more oilier in the summer and drier in the winter. I have been using this for almost a year now ( bought 3 at the same time while I was in Hong Kong) . Day and night for the first 6 or so months, but now only at night. I use this with my clarisonic, and it does leave my face feeling very refreshed and clean. Im not sure how effective it is at removing base makeup (i.e. foundation etc) because I dont wear foundation, only under eye concealer, and I take that off with a separate makeup remover. The cleanser is very rich and foams up well, but for dry skin, I do think it will strip your skin too much. This is more suited for normal combo and oily skin. I do feel as though this gets rid of any clogged pores, etc. However I dont notice any reduction of blackheads (on my nose) I do notice fewer pimples. I would repurchase, but for now I want to test out other cleansers

I love this cleanser. It strips my face clean of all impurities. I feel like a completely refreshed person after using this cleanser. When I scrub my face with it, the slightly citrus scent reaches my nose and wakes me right up. It also leaves a nice tingling sensation.
It even removes my eye makeup!!!!
The only downside of it is that it clean be a little steep for a face cleanser. I'm not too keen on spending $25 on a face cleanser. I'll definitely pick one up on my next trip to Asia. It can be purchased for about $7 at a drugstore.

Two years back, when I first tried this product, I experienced extreme dryness after cleansing. It was the pink coloured tube then. Recently, I bought the blue coloured one to use for I needed one all-in-one cleanser for my holiday. Surprisingly, my skin is more receptive of this cleanser now. In fact, it is one of the my favourite cleansers right now; because I know my face is cleansed thoroughly whenever I use this.
Pros:
Thorough cleanliness after Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil
Doesnt cause dryness
Inexpensive
Removes my sunscreen
Nice fragrance
Has helped with my clogged pores and jawline acne
Cons:
Cannot be used around the eye area

I love this product! I have been using this cleanser for over 6 months now and I've never been happier with how my skin looks and feels. My pores are smaller and my skin is so soft these days. The cleanser does make my face feel a bit dry but after I follow up with my toner and moisturizer this is no issue at all. Plus I feel like my face is instantly brightened and glowing after using this product. Will definitely repurchase!

I have had the 3 in 1 in the pink packaging and I've used it on and off. Sigh...I wanted to like this cleanser so much! True, it cleans off my makeup, but at what cost? My skin's rather sensitive and combination and my skin felt rather dry/tight after using it. I don't like over-stripping my skin. Furthermore, it stings if gotten into the eyes, and I'd rather use a cleansing oil to cleanse the entire face. I guess I'm a bit lazy when it comes to using a separate eye make-up remover before cleansing, but hey, if your facial cleanser can do both, why not? I'm not a fan of that dry feeling and while it certainly takes it off, I feel I have to rub harder than with most cleansers to dissolve makeup. It smells pretty nice but also slightly chemical-ish (am I the only one who detects this?) You only need and it doesn't foam as much as, persay, my Shiseido perfect whip. Rather, the rubbing action with the small exfoliating particles takes off your makeup instead of the foaming part. I do like that it comes in a squeeze tub and it's handy for traveling and when you need a quick fix to take off your makeup, exfoliate, and cleanse; still, I think there are gentler options on the market for a lower price.

I have the 4-in-1 opalescent blue tube. Light, refreshing scent, quite a lot of heft in the tube meaning you get quite a lot of product especially in light of the fact that a little lathers up a lot. I'm guessing this tube will last quite a while. It seems gentle enough a product. You can feel the microbeads when you rub your hands with water to foam up but you can't feel them at all on the face.
My mother seems to like it as well but my sister said she found it too drying.

Multi Cleanser made my skin very sensitive and red and my face hurt for a few days after I used it, and it hurt when i put any other products on my face afterward that i normally use (like moisturizer). Too bad because everyone else said this product was great, so i thought it had to be! It was also kind of expensive-- $24.00 USD. It might work well on other skin types but i guess my skin was too sensitive for it.

I really like this product! It cleanses my skin very well, and leaves it softer, plumper, and brighter. Plus, it smells good. It is a bit expensive for a cleanser, however, a tube of this lasted me more than a year. I would repurchase!

I had a sample from the shop I buy Laneige's sleeping pack and peeling gel. My skin does not like this cleanser one bit... Very drying!! My face feels it's going to crack and I have super oily skin. Johnson & Johnson Baby head-to-toe shower gel is a lot better. See my review on the shower gel for details. continued >>

if you're lazy and would like to clean your face thoroughly this is a good cleanser to try. My face is oily and I wear makeup on a daily basis but this cleanser removes EVERYTHING. Just be sure to do a good deal of massaging the foam on your face (you can see the foam turn beige) plus this stuff smells AMAZING!

I found out about this product after watching one of Bubzbeauty's videos, where Bubbi talked about how she loved the Laneige Multi Cleanser. So I looked into it, and finally got it for Christmas. After I cleanse my face with it, it really does leave my skin squeaky clean. It doesn't leave my skin feeling really tight after use, but my face still felt slightly uncomfortable - and I got some dryness around my mouth area. It isn't HG for me, but it is one of the best cleansers I have tried so far. I found it also had a slight brightening property to it, and sort of helped fade my acne scars to a certain extent. In general it is very good for cleansing your skin, and removing makeup. If you have very sensitive skin though, it *might* not be for you. I found that when my skin was in a more sensitive state, it wasn't as effective. But definitely get it and give it a try! <3 This is the first Laneige product I have tried, and it intrigued me to be interested in trying more of their products - continued >>

I regret buying this. It smells really good, you get a lot for your money and the packaging is cute (most Laneige stuff is), but it doesn't take off my makeup! I don't even wear much (light foundation, a little powder, mascara, liner, blush), and it just did nothing. At first I thought I was being paranoid, so I kept using this as my only cleanser, but then I got the worst breakout I've had in a long time, probably because I was sleeping with makeup still on my face. :/ I tried using it as part of a double cleanse with my Fancl cleansing oil, but it's too drying for that. I guess I'll use it for days when I'm not wearing any makeup, but honestly? I'd toss it if it hadn't cost $20.
Update: GAHHH, I officially hate this stuff. I used it and my face got so incredibly flaky and irritated, it was gross. The only time I got as bad a reaction was when I used a cheapy Face Shop cleasing foam. :/

I have the newer formula that contains papaya, green tea and citrus extracts. It foams very easily so you only need a pea size, and removes all makeup residue left from my oil cleansing beforehand. Despite it's amazing makeup removal properties, it irritates my skin SO badly - my skin is left tight, dry, sore, irritated and red after using. Much too harsh on my skin like I've noticed all Korean cleansers tend to be as they contain a lot of acids right at the top of the ingredients lists. The irritation it gives my skin causes me to breakout in painful red pimples over my forehead. I would not repurchase.

I bought this because of Bubzbeauty recommended it and because I realized that my cleansers didn't remove my makeup. I bought it because I started using foundation and what not.
I have acne-prone and oily skin.
When I first used this product it did NOTHING for my acne. I also purchased the power essentials from Laniege and I merely broke out. Since I spent a lot of money buying the products I kept them anyway.
Recently I asked my doctor for acne treatment and she gave me a topical gel. In order to be more gentle to my skin I stopped using my neutrogena acne treatments and went back to using this laniege cleanser.
The results are amazing. My skin has definitely cleared up because of the treatment but the combination is great. The cleanser doesn't leave residue, you only need a little to take off all your makeup and sunscreen, and my skin does not try out. I would recommend buying this because of how well it cleanses your skin!

I've been using this multi-cleanser for almost 6 months now. I have combination, acne-prone skin, and this is a good foaming face wash for those who don't want a heavy or creamy cleanser. It also works to remove face makeup, but it stings the eyes, so use a separate eye makeup remover. The packaging is a nice pearly pink color, and the cleanser itself is a pretty pink color with a nice, light smell. With damp face and hands, I squeeze out about a 1-cm long amount, and it lathers up very well to cover up my whole face, allowing me to massage it into my skin easily. The formula feels light and clean, and the tiny beads add a little boost to help lightly exfoliate the skin. After I wash off the cleanser, my face is squeaky clean. I've never liked the squeaky-clean feel of soaps, but after using this cleanser, I like how it doesn't make me feel like there's still product left on my face. It also has a nice whitening/brightening effect on my face, and makes my usual red areas less visible and more balanced with the rest of my skin. However, this is just a temporary effect. The cleanser may seem pricey for some, but it actually lasted me a good 3.5 months, and I was sharing it with my mom and washing my face twice a day on most days. For me, a big con is that it didn't do a whole lot for my pimples. But, I'm not surprised since it isn't specially formulated for acne. It also doesn't do anything to help my pores (like reduce their size) except maybe temporarily clear them out when I wash my face. The product also doesn't leave my face feeling noticeably smooth even though it has micro-beads, but the beads are too tiny to really exfoliate that much and do anything to smooth out my skin. All that being said, I suggest to also use a separate acne-medicated cleanser that targets pores or a topical acne cream and a separate exfoliator to use like once a week to slough off dead skin. Overall, I really like this cleanser, because it's light, foamy, doesn't have a harsh scent, and makes my face feel clean.

First, off i love the smell of this product. it is very soothing and nice. It cleans my face very well and is a nice gentle exfoliator. It foams up very fast making it very easy to to clean deep into your pores and fine lines. One thing that i dont like is that it gives off a stinging and burning sensation around my nose when i massage it in for more then like 3 mins. and its quite painful when you get it in or near your eyeball which means that this product wont clean off any eye makeup.

My hands down favorite cleanser of all time. I use this every morning and night (which I'm not sure if thats a good idea or not haha) but the microbeads inside the cleanser aren't harsh or abrasive on the skin, it just gently exfoliates and leaves my skin feeling super clean and smooth! I don't use this as a makeup remover essentially, but I find that it takes off the makeup on my face that my makeup remover isnt able to. Been using this after the Clinque 3-step failed to clear up my skin...all laneige products are HG to me, especially this cleanser! I don't know if I would recommend it to caucasian women because I've had an american friend who used this and hated it. For reference I have combo-oily skin....and I'm asian. But I love thisp roduct! highly recommend!!
