The polish was goopy and tended to streak and leave fine streaks where I didn't want them. Only reason I'd buy this product again is because they are in fact only a dollar. Then again I was doing leopard spots and required polish that had better control, these should be fine for things like zebra stripes though.

This stuff is super, SUPER cheap and incredible for beginners. The brush, once you get used to it, is easy to control, and the polish is smooth and there are no issues with blobs/bubbles/streaking etc.

I love this product! I wanted to start doing simple nail designs and am a complete beginner. Once you get the hang of making different line thicknesses, it is really easy to do. You just have to watch the huge blob that forms towards the top of the wand. I own the black, blue and gold glitter ones along with the white. I use the plain white one the most, very versatile. Just keep in mind that the glitter ones don't make precise lines (but the black one does). I only use them as accents.

FIND IT AT: Dollar Tree, Drug-stores, Forever 21.
FIRST IMPRESSION: Saw it at Dollar Tree and I thought that’s cute-I’ll give it a try. I tried to do some art on my nails-I’m incredibly clumsy and uncoordinated so I couldn’t do any designs. So I thought why the **** did I buy this product? Stupid waste of money, I can’t do anything with this brush. So after that I checked out MUA and read raving reviews. I thought all these women are mad there is no way you can make this product work. I then looked up some you-tube videos and VOILA! I finally figured out how to make it work. Attached on the bottom are you-tube videos/ gurus that helped me. And after that I bought some more colors :)
J’ADORE:
1. CHEAP PRICE: One Dollar!!! Compared to the same product you can get at drug-stores for $3-8. Why pay more for the same product that does the same exact thing if you don’t have to.
2. COLORS: Wide range of colors: White, Black, Green, Blue, Light Pink, Red, Silver, Yellow and also a range of Glitter colors including Glitter Gold, Silver, Green..etc.. I first bought this in white. Pretty standard color, a true white is a good basic color to have. I also have this in silver glitter, silver, black, and green. I really like the bold darker colors because when doing design against contrasting colors they pop more. For example a green stripe design against white nail polish. I found that using the glitter colors can look messy. I like using the silver glitter to make little dots in the middle of my flowers but not good for creating a stripe design. I have found the glitter colors look a little streaky because you cant get the same amount of glitter color in each swipe.
3. EASY DESIGNS: From watching the you-tube videos I found it’s very easy to do stripes. However for me that’s where the creativity stops. Lol and How many times can you really do a stripe design and be satisfied? I found one you-tube guru who suggested using a toothpick to make design and I have found that works well in making dots. But sometimes with a toothpick since the end is so small and pointy you have to keep dotting on the design to make your dots more noticeable. I have found using the end of a matchstick is also very good at making dot designs.
4. EXPERIMENT and PRACTICE: Makes Perfect. I usually use a piece of paper and practice making a design the way I want before I actually put it on my nail. That way it gives me more control. Since my nails are so short the beautiful designs they do on the video don’t pop as much on short nails. Also since I’m a beginner any mistakes even on one nail is very noticeable. Esp. if people think the designs are nice and grab you hands to get a closer look. That is why I only experiment on my toes. Why pay my manicurist 5-10 extra dollars to make a design on my nails when I can do it myself. And that way if I do my toe nails and mess up-no one is going to notice, because even from far away they will look nice. Also I find more control in doing toe-nails rather than finger nails because I don’t have to worry about one hand looking better than the other. I’m right handed and do not have ambidexterity (ability to use both right and left hand equally).
JE DETESTE
1. BRUSH-The brush is very long and thin. Do not expect to have a lot of control when you first use it. It’s best to use simple strokes to achieve your desired look.
HELPFUL VIDEOS:
Tiger Stripes (first video I watched that actually helped me understand how to stripes-very easy)

This guru has many nail art designs. I never watched her before this but I was impressed by her creativity and how simple and easy she made it.

OMG i luv this product!!! It is really easy to do awesome designs even though i am totally un-co-ordinated.... the only thing better is the sally Hansen pen but that is like five dollars more! I got this for 1.80 CND at forever 21 and also saw it for only a little more at rexall pharmacy so i will be buying there since it is closer and less than a dollar more! The only problem i have with it is that since mine are new when u take the brush out and start using it, a giant glob will come down slowly so be careful and wipe it off and ur good!! will defiantly buy again!

I love these! I have several colors and love them all.
I'm not artist so basically all I can do right now is polka dots, but they're great for that.
Highly recommend these.

I currently only own the black one and the silver glitter one. I really want to go back and get more. I purchased mine at Dollar General for $1.00 each. These work great for precise nail art designs. The quality of them is good, which I was surprised by, considering their very cheap price. I have seen similar products at other stores in prices of $4.50 and up! These are a great steal! They dry quickly and last longer than expected on the nails. The Dollar General nearest me only has a few more colors, but it would seem others have found quite a few more colors...so I may have to stop at other DG locations and see what they've got in stock! I would absolutely repurchase these, without hesitation.

I dont find this great to use alone but find them great for Konad like another user mentioned.Somehow the formulation of the polishes work well with the plates. At $1 each it doesnt hurt to give it a try.

Someone stole all my art deco pens while I was in college...but I didn't figure it out til I got home. They're only $1 so I really didn't care. I could go krazy and buy them all again because of the cheap price. So now I only have gold glitter, silver glitter, white, and black, and I'm falling in love all over again. They're so easy to use. I like doing zebra stripes with them! I reccomend them to anyone especially beginners just learning to do nail art!

I am currently wearing the red one haha. It's really easy to use. The polish drips and you have to wipe it off a little but overall it's an awesome polish and makes it easy to have pretty designs on your nails.

This is a great concept, but the brush and packaging of the bottle is incredibly hard to work with.
I could not create any designs on my nails because the brush was just too thin and long and the polish dripped off.
I do not understand everyone else's reviews, maybe they have more experience? I would definitely not purchase this again.

Outstanding quality in a very unlikely place. Just as others have said, I found this at Dollar General for a little over $2. At first I hated the thin brush but then realized that it makes for easy application on nail edges. I got the bright green, a vibrant primary green cream, and it went on smoothly and evenly and dried to a very shiny, vinyl-like setting. Wear was a week with absolutely no chipping (very slight wear on tips) even with frequent hand washing and activity. This one blew me away!

i am a brand snob.....but now that i got no job, i cant afford to be. Recently, i fell in love with nail art: konading (yea, expensive hobby but an online incentive program pays for my plates..yippeee!).
Anyway, LA deco is perfect to use with konad. u dont need to work as fast and colors come up vibrantly noticeable on the nail (unlike 'regular' polishes). So many colors to chose from too! i refuse to pay $7 for special konad polish. You can find these in dollar general ($1), family dollar ($1) or even in local asian beauty stores ($2). I've also seen them in forever 21 for $1.80. thank you LA Colors for LA deco, please continue to sell them in dollar stores. :)

I bought 2 of these for $1 each today. They smell awful. However, I can get past that cause the colors are beautiful! I got the baby pink and magenta.. which is a really rich, sort of bright purple. Cute bottles too. The store only had a few colors, so I'll have to check other dollar stores for more colors.

I bought 4 of these at the Dollar General for a dollar a piece. I am happy with the ones I have used so far (silver glitter and white) I love the skinny long brush, it's the only thing I can get a decent result with when trying to do a french tip.
