I was tired of using the skinmate shaving creams. They never did much for my skin or little razor bumps. I came across this eos shaving cream the other day and it caught my eye! The packaging is so cute! I'm a sucker for cute packaging! Lol its so affordable, around $3 so I had to buy it and my first impression was that it felt watery on my skin and didn't foam much but it felt extremely smooth while shaving. The razor glides so smoothly. After shaving my legs feels nice and soft. It also claims to help prevent razor bumps and I can already see mine slowly disappear. I love it!! It smells so good also. And I still can't get over the pretty packaging!

I have been using this shaving cream for awhile now and I LOVE IT. It's extremely moisturizing and I have applied it in the shower as well as dry. I love the packaging - it has an easy pump and the product comes out smoothly. I like the fact that you can use it dry as there have been several occasions where I needed to shave really quick before going to class. No, it does not foam like other shaving creams; it's almost like a lotion. I took off a lippy because I'm not a fan of the smell but this is definitely not a deal breaker. It smells decent but just really artificial to me. For the price it does everything it says it does which is great!

I had a sample of this and I just used it. I used the Pomegranate Raspberry scent - NOT good. I did not enjoy the scent at all...it was a sour berry scent that was so fake. It felt nice going on, but I nicked myself almost immediately. It didn't provide enough slip to create a barrier between my razor and my skin. (I used a brand new razor too, just out of the packaging) I haven't nicked myself in years. I might be willing to try it again, but I did not have a good first experience with this product. I applied a decent amount, which makes me think you would need to possibly apply an excessive amount of this product in order to have a positive experience.

Kinda shocked this has garnered such harsh reviews. Ah, to each their own. Anywho.
I've been shaving for years using hair conditioner, and just recently switched to a foams, just for a change of pace. They were ok. I picked this up based on it's claim to allow you to shave dry. And, yeah, the bottle is pretty cute.
I find I can shave dry with it pretty damn successfully, although not without some irritation. In the shower it gave me nice, smooth legs and elsewhere with minimal irritation, plus it's moisturizing. And ladies, a thin coat of this stuff works. I use like a pump/ pump and a half PER LEG- two at the very most. Spread it on and let it set for a moment (as you would hair conditioner) then shave.
Compared to everything else I've tried, I gotta say I like this stuff.

This shave cream is simple and seems to do its job. It smells good and I get a close shave without nicks. It also doesn't make my sensitive skin itch as much after a shave--something that has happened with other shave creams.

I really wanted to like this since I LOVE the lip balm.I was disappointed. It smells and feels great when applying, but I can't tell you how many times I've nicked myself. And I can't get a close shave.I'll get out of the shower and still have hairs in some spots. On top of that, the pump stopped working halfway through and I had to unscrew the top and retrieve product that away.Very annoying.Won't be buying this again.

I'm honestly surprised that this has such bad ratings. Yes it doesn't foam...does it claim to foam? Not from what I can see.
Its up to personal preference on where you would like your shave gel to foam. I mainly use this when it comes to shaving dry. Often I don't have time or energy when I'm showering at night to shave my legs too.
It smells nice, keeps my legs extremely moisturized even after I shave and wash off my legs. It is a fresh clean Raspberry scent, that is not overpowering. Is it the best shave gel ever? No. Is it good enough to buy it again? Definitely.

Great product. Very moisturizing. I was surprised that the company claims were true. I actually felt that it shaved closer than with other shave creams. I haven't tried it dry though.

I liked the packaging, since it didn't come in an aerosol can like many other shaving products. It can also be used wet or dry, which is convenient. But it felt greasy and it left a film that was hard to wash off. My skin felt rather itchy afterward. Turns out the product contains mineral oil and petrolatum, two ingredients that I always avoid. I guess I did not look at the label closely; I assumed that since it had no parabens, it also would not have petroleum-based ingredients. Don't let the natural-sounding name fool you.

Really wanted to like this BC of the scent and pretty bottle...but I didn't like the fact it didn't foam. Doesn't feel like its helping the shaving. Its nearly impossible to use in the shower I feel. I just have better luck with the gel foams like skintimate.

This was very irritating to me and my husbands skin. The smell is great and so is the container. I understand that it isn't suppose to foam up, but I have had better results with other shaving creams that don't foam. It wasn't very moisturizing. Overall I was very disappointed. I noticed that I got more razor nicks with this stuff. I won't be repurchasing.

I loved the thick , creamy texture of it and the smell. I also loved how it didn't dry and tighten my skin , like other shave creams. It made my legs super smooth and soft. I really like the results from it and will buy it again.

I got a free sample of this and fell in love with the scent. This convinced me to purchase the full size, even though it is twice as expensive as my usual shave lotion. I was very disappointed in the formula. Several pumps and it's still is not enough to coat or provide an ample shave barrier for a smooth shave. No lather to this at all, and I didn't feel it protected my skin from razor irritation. The only redeeming quality of this stuff is the wonderful raspberry scent.

People - if it is cheap - its bad. and not just the quality of packaging.
explaining: on the front of their shaving creams - a statement saying: "Paraben-free".
well, for you sheep out there - turn the bottle around and look at the ingredient list. what do you see on the bottom of it besides the all nice and natural product in the beginning? they are trying to tire you out, and hoping that you wont go to the end - where all the parabens and other harmful carcinogenic chemicals are actually listed:
Water (Aqua, Eau), Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Glycol Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Leaf Juice, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylene Glycol, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Red 40 Lake (CI 16035), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Yellow 6 Aluminum Lake (CI 15985)
Read before you buy and don't trust the labels - as you can see, they don't care about you or your health...

I'm not quite sure why this has such bad reviews, as I really enjoy this cream, and have repurchased twice. I went from using Skintimate's version of a shave cream, which was okay, but just not for me. The bottle constantly leaked, the cream would gunk up my razors, and the smell was yucky. My legs were smooth enough, but I moved on and gave this a try. I have to say, I really don't need much to get a good shave with this. I generally use one pump for lower leg, one pump for thighs with no nicks or cuts. I rinse my razor frequently as I shave, which is standard operating procedure as far as I'm concerned. The pump can get useless for the last 1/4 of the bottle, but I can still get it out no problem, I just shake the bottle gently and it dispenses as normal. The smell is SO good, and my legs are very, very soft. I love this cream, but I can see how the texture is a dramatic difference if you're used to thick gels and foams. I've always shaved a certain way, which seems to agree with this product especially: I sort of "brush" away excess water from my legs, so they're more damp than soaked, and stay in an area of the shower that is away from the main spray (or I wait until the water is off to do this, rinsing my razor as needed). Overall, I really love this stuff BECAUSE it's much different than other creams. However, if you're looking for something thicker, look elsewhere.

This stuff did absolutely nothing for my skin during the shave. It didn't foam up the way I like, and it really didn't feel like the razor had a silkier surface to glide on. Afterwards, I had not as close a shave as if I had used conditioner or another brand instead. I have had this bottle for about a year, and every time I try to go back and give it another shot, I'm disappointed. I wanted to love it since it's all natural and the bottle is great, but, alas, it just doesn't do the job. Like another member mentioned, though, the fact that it doesn't leave that rusty ring on your tub is great! I just wish what was inside was half as good!

I love this stuff. I'd been using their lip balm and came across this when I was replacing my Skintimate shave cream. It's very similar in texture, but not quite as thick (and paraben free/all natural.)
This is very different from a foaming shave gel. You DON'T need to use a thick, heavy layer of this; a thin coat will do the job. I can't even really see it on my legs when I use it, but it still works great. I use 1.5 pumps for each leg, 1 for arms/underarms.
I tested a small area dry; a tiny bit of irritation, but miles better than any other time I've tried to shave dry. When used wet, no irritation, no marks, just nice smooth legs. My skin is very sensitive, so this is a miracle for me.
The packaging is lovely. Very simple design (but still colorful enough to catch your eye), non-slippery, no metal ring on the bathtub, and it has that same kind of soft plastic that the lip balm containers are made from. The pump is nice and easy to use. Top is secure.
And, it smells delicious.
I do see mineral oil in the ingredients, but it hasn't clogged or done anything bad to my skin so far, so oh well.

So, I bought this stuff because I saw an ad for it in Lucky Mag. There was a picture of it actually on a girl's leg, and it looked very creamy and thick, which is what I've been looking for in a shaving cream.
First of all, it isn't thick at all. Sure, it's moisturizing, but it looks nothing like that picture !!!! False advertising, much?! Anywho, it does smell great and I love the idea of a pump top (although the one on this guy takes a while to come back up), and I haven't nicked myself once yet despite how thin it is. Also, the directions on the bottle say you only need 2-3 pumps, and I use like six or seven for each leg, so yeah... that sucks a bit. but overall, it's not that bad of a product, and I think I would maybe buy it again.
Oh, and PS; I have SUPER sensitive skin, and this stuff isn't irritating at all.

Pros: Cheap, it was only $3.49! And the plastic bottle didn’t leave a rusty ring on my tub like most shaving cream containers do with the metal bottom. The scent is great and it does provide a close shave.
Cons: I had to use about 5 or 6 pumps in order to completely cover one leg. After you use most of the product the pump won’t pick up what’s left at the bottom of the bottle; so I had to store the bottle upside down and then unscrew the top whenever I wanted to use more, very inconvenient (And there was a considerably amount of shaving cream yet so I didn’t want to just throw it away.)
Bottom line: Even though it’s cheap I wouldn’t purchase this again. I’m going to stick to using the Aveeno positively smooth shaving gel which is about 80 cents more.

i have been shaving my legs for about ten years now, and this is hands down the worst shaving cream ive ever used. it literally feels like youre shaving with nothing to protect your skin. shaving was painful and extremely irritating with this stuff. if desperate times call for desperate measures, id rather use hair conditioner..it does a better job than this junk.
