I'm an aspiring MUA (and still a beginner at it, but damnit I'm getting there ! lol) And I like this . Its not to expensive to were its hurting my pockets and has enough colors to work on different skin tones. One cool thing that I've learn to use with this is using the lighter shades as highlighters. Though there not shimmery , I notice that it does brighten up the face using a fan brush and light strokes. But that's just me..

LOVE this palette! Contouring and highlighting has never been easier...these colors blend easily and will work on any skin tone. It comes with three highlighting shades, one contour and two blushes. I recommend this one to all :)

This contour palette is amazing! I have very light skin so it's hard to get a good contour color that doesn't look to bad or orange on me. I found that it is very easy to blend. I use this everyday, love it!

I had been really, REALLY wanting this palette for a long time, I finally bit the bullet and purchased it on sale. However, the colors are just almost unusable. They are extremely pigmented (Which is a great thing!) but they're nearly impossible to blend. Even with the lightest touch, it's still a blotchy mess on me. =/
I'll probably keep it around just for using on other people, instead of hauling blushes around, but all in all, I'd never buy another one. Even for other people, I'd almost rather haul blushes around than try to work with this.

A great, low priced addition to a first makeup kit

I think that for the price (a little under $20) this is a steal. It's 6 huge pans with 3 highlights, 1 bronzer/contour color and 2 blushes. What I think I love most about this product is everything is matte! It's hard to find anything matte lately so YAY for that. Also the blushes included are very wearable blushes. As for the contour color I can't say how I feel because mine broke(this wasn't CS or packaging fault) before I could try it out. From the bit that was still in the pan that I swatched the color was very pigmented. It seemed to be on the darker side but it's a contour what do you expect. I think overall this is an amazing product that I think I will forever repurchase.

I bought this product 4 months ago when I first started getting into contouring and highlighting. For beginners, its ok.

Im dark skinned, and the dark shade goes on looking muddy. Only with a lot of practise and a ton of patience can you pull this off. I definitely had a few days looking like i had dirt on my face because of how muddy this one looked. I tried doing it with a light hand and building off it, didnt work out too well.

The blush is hit or miss. I had to mix them because the light one is too light and the dark one is too dark. MOST of the time, even if you try and build off it was just too much.

the lighter shades are just too chalky.

Overall, it was good to start out with and get an idea of what I was doing. Ive replaced about every item in this pan, and will probably give it away.

i got this product as a gift, i've had it for 2 years, didn't really use it in the first year except for like 3 times because i was busy using my other palettes from BHcosmetics and MAC, but then i threw out my BH palette and started using this coastal scents palette this year, after watching a few tutorials on youtube and making up more celeb-inspired looks, it turns out this palette is perfect! its perfectly pigmented at the right amount, i've used it on 5 of my clients with a bit of nars highlighter and there, could be as good as MAC. i figured out the contour shade is a bit dark but you can mix it with some light bronzer and tap off the excess of use a duo fibre brush and tap off the excess after each use, never contour above the cheekbone, probably the only reason many of you find the contour shade as "too dark" is because you didn't contour properly. i recommend this product, i've had it for 2 years and still no signs of running out of it, if you're wondering why i wouldn't buy this product again, it's not because the product sucks or anything, it's because i have my eyes on NYX's All I Ever Wanted Makeup box, but this is amazing, all you have to do is get used to it and you'll get the hang of using these colors! WOW!

Very nice palette.. if you are not acne prone. Not sure which ingredient broke out my face but it does contain mineral oil so that might be it. I really loved the contour and blush colors since they are pigmented, goes on nicely and I was able to make it look natural. Although the dark contour color may appear scary, use very little amounts and build up the color or else your face will look dirty. The lighter highlight colors on the other hand didn't go on as well nor did it seem as pigmented. I hope to find a similar matte bronzer and matte rosy blush in their mineral formulations that won't break me out as bad as this did. I am also disappointed that the website did not allow me to post this negative review which I think is absolutely terrible because I'm sure not everyone is blessed with normal skin that can handle mineral oil (or maybe it was the lanolin) without having crazy breakouts.
