I use the blue ("sailor") color. My skin is NW15, light brown hair, and blue yes. I LOVE this liner for tightlining and for the waterline. I've never used it on my lids, but it lasts all day for me. It sharpens to a perfect point and doesn't need to be resharped every time (like UD24/7 liner). The texture is great, goes on smooth, I haven't had a problem with smudging or transferring at all, but again, this not my main liner. I use the blue to add a pop of color with a dark brown top liner.

I was given this as a gift, glad I was because I never would have purchased it based on MUA reviews :).

When I see the word "waterproof" in the name of an eyeliner, I assume that it must stay put on the lid and on the waterline. Imagine my surprise when I tried Mally Beauty watercolor liner and neither of these assumptions proved to be true!

I got the Midnight color in a Beauty Tube and was excited to try it because I do like several of Mally's products. First I wore it on my upper lashline with mascara. Within two hours, I had black smudges in my crease and underneath my eyes (and I hadn't even put eyeliner on the lower lid). Since I was testing a new mascara, I thought maybe the mascara was smudging so the next day, I tried it without mascara but with a neutral eyeshadow. Again, within 2 hours the "waterproof" eyeliner had traveled to my crease, was fading on my lashline and again, had traveled underneath both eyes, so that I looked like a racoon.

The next day, I decided to give it one more shot, this time on the lower waterline. That was a big, fat fail! In less than 30 minutes, most of the eyeliner had disappeared from the lower waterline and was now under my lower lashes (wasn't wearing any mascara). To clarify, my eyes are not "watery" or sensitive.

If I could give this zero stars I would. What a shame but my experience is that this is a terrible "waterproof" eyeliner.

This is a pretty decent eyeliner. Not my favorite, but it does a good enough job. When I apply it to my water line, it lasts a couple hours but ends up smudging. I have the full sized black one & also have a 5 mini pack of black brown green purple and silver. The brown works nice too for a neutral look, but I prefer my ysl patent leather e/l instead for a brown e/l. continued >>

I love these eyeliners. They are very pigmented and stay on forever! I can only use certain eyeliners because I have sensitive eyes and these liners to not bother me. They are great liners for the price, especially since they are a more upscale brand.

I have the Starlight liner in Ice Blue and it is a gorgeous eyeliner! It is a beautiful satin-finish pencil liner. It is a little bit on the thick side when it comes to the pencil, so don't expect a super fine line from this product. What I find annoying is that you must sharpen it and I hate to ruin the metallic packaging that it's in. Also, it takes a few tries to get good color payoff. What I really love is that it has incredible staying power, even without primer! I wore this on a 64-hour journey involving airports, planes, no sleep and no touchups and it almost perfectly stayed on! That seriously impressed me. It is a little bit on the pricey side, $20, but nothing that's too expensive. I would definetely say it's worth it!

I own many colors because these are quite simply the best! Plum and Lucky Penny are a couple of my favorites. She has a wide range of colors from midnight to caribbean to ice blue. There are about 16 colors available on QVC. PROs: Highly-saturated, smooth, but more importantly it lasts until you take it off. I took my kids swimming with this on and it lasted!! These are better than her Evercolor Automatic liners, so don't be fooled. These are the ones to own!

simply put...BEST EYELINER EVER!!!
i use ALL of mally's products and they DON'T disappoint!
i actually prefer these pencils to the self-sharpening ones she offers in the evercolor family. the color glides on, is highly pigmented and LASTS til you take it off! you have 30 seconds to smudge it or do with it as you will. once it sets, it STAYS!
i will purchase time and time again (as i already have).
love you mally-xxx

These liners are highly pigmented, glide on easily, and once they set they aren't moving until you take them off!

These are good if not great - I have both oily lids and watery eyes, so they stay put as well as can be expected under these circumstances. The outer corners of my eyes sometimes water, and the color comes off, otherwise the color stays put all day.

When I apply to my upper lid, I do notice some transfer to my lids if I don't apply eyeshadow immediately, even if I use primer and set it with powder - so it doesn't "set" after 30 seconds. However, even with my very oily lids, I do notice I an still see my eyeliner after 8 hours, even the fun colors like light blue, so it does have some staying power.

I like that the liner has some blendability before it sets and the colors are pretty. I have 7 colors and will purchase again when I run out. I like to layer the colors and wear 2 or 3 at a time.

I truly feel that there are NO eyeliners out there that are completely smudge-proof or bullet proof or whatever terminolgy the marketing people come up with to imply that the liners will stay put! That said, I am in LOVE with the gorgeous colors and rich saturation of pigment that Mally's eyeliners deliver. I have eleven of these liners, and the colors make it worth the retouching or running that all liners IMO tend to do. I mean we are blinking, in and out of hot humid weather, all types of things, and there is NO way an eye product isn't going to run and shift around a little bit at the best of times. Makeup isn't perfect, but these eyeliners are a lot of fun to play with...like crayons for grown up girls...love them!
