I bought this blush 6 years ago and it is still my favorite. The color is so natural (when applied with a light touch). It also looks amazing on the eyelids. When I bought it, the Aveda make up artist used it to do a daytime smoky eye that wasn't too dark. She layered over a copper pencil and then muted parts with a neutral gray/stone colored shadow. The container is huge and it lasts forever! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a natural, non pink blush.

This is a really pretty color that almost matches my exact flush (mine is a little more pink) but hey! its close enough! I just feel beautiful when I wear this, not like I have tons of makeup on.

I sought this out after reading the reviews on MUA, much "darker" than I would normally be drawn to, but provides a nice natural "in from the cold" effect.

I have recently discovered the great quality of certain Aveda makeup products (especially e/s) and after reading Orodwen's raves on the board I had to have this blush, too. It's a very natural muted orange-red, a toned-down terracotta with a rose tone. This blush does look like you've just come in from the cold. I'd say this is a slightly toned down version of NARS Exhibit A. The quality of the blush is impressing- it really stays on all day long, it's finely milled and silky. It's a bit of a downside that it only comes in a loose version, because that doesn't make it very portable. On the positive side it contains quite a lot of product (7 grams), so you get good value for your $$$. I am not sure whether it is true, but I was told that this blush was discontinued- what a shame! In case you have the chance definitely give this blush a try!!

Similar to Bare Escentuals in form, it is just as pigmented and I love this shade as it gives the just in from the color color.

Finally, finally, I have my very own grail blush! This is the color I've been looking for for years in powder form. It's like a bright-ish terracotta with a hint of rose/pink in it. Everything else I've tried in my search for this color has been too dusty or dull. and I don't have access to many brands so it's been a hard search. Anyway, I posted on the MU board looking for a terracotta-pink blush and the fabulous orodwen rec'd this. And darned if it isn't exactly the perfect healthy flush for my cheeks (I like Exhibit A too, but this is even better!) As a PPP I have to be careful to apply lightly. I did have a rough start with this when I klutzily spilled it all over my computer desk, but I have since recovered and am more than willing to put up with the hassles and mess of loose powder because the color is so wonderful. As I told orodwen, if she ever finds a match for this in pressed form, I will give her my firstborn child.

Great natural looking glow, but remember to use a light touch if you're fair. This is also a fantastic value as the package is very generous and it takes very little for each application.

this is one of my favorite blushes. i use it all over my face. i have a fairly neutral, rosy, translucent complexion and this blush really gives a depth that surprised me. it looks terracotta in the container but applies more neutral than that. i recommend anyone who likes aveda to check out this blush. make sure you try it across your lids and temples when you apply it. it's a really nice effect.
