I got this for about $2.50 CAD because I love loose powders.. The container is huge!!! Which is awesome. It makes my skin so smooth!!! When I read smooth skin I thought it was just a name but it really makes your skin smooth. It makes your skin look FLAWLESS! This is my holy grail powder and I can't believe it's bigger than all my powders yet like $10 cheaper. There's nothing wrong with this powder at all its so finely milled and amazing. The only thing is how much comes out at a time. The sifter is terrible but I just put the rest I havent used back onto the sifter and tap it back in. Otherwise this powder is amazing and has the quality on high end yet price of dollar store

I quite like this powder and find it an incredible value for the price.
I have somewhat dry NW 15-20 skin and wear a light dusting of this powder over a variety of types of foundation. Of all products that I wear on my face, I feel that loose powder has the least impact on the final makeup look and notice very little difference in the affect whether I use Chanel, Sheseido, MAC or NYC.
The price is exceptionally reasonable, so I bought both the Translucent and Natural Beige colours and have mixed the two together to create the perfect shade for me. Many have expressed concern about the packaging - a concern that I addressed by transferring the powder into an empty powder package that I had used up from another brand.
I recommend this powder for anyone who uses pressed powder for general use in setting foundation and other liquid or cream face produces. You may not want to use directly under the eyes, however, I have yet to find a pressed powder that is suited to this purpose.
Buy it on sale - and it's an even better deal!
I have been lemming the LM loose powder for a while now and decided to try this first before splurge on the high end one. I like the powder when applied with a stippling brush. The fine fibers of the brush allow a more even and sheer application, truly giving my skin a sort of satiny matte finish. Oil control is no where near my MAC Blot but quite decent, give me about 3 to 4 hours of wear. Also I like using this under my eyes when I am applying makeup. Packaging is terrifying as well as the color range. Translucent give my face a white cast so I have to go back with my bronzer and that defeats the purpose of the product itself. Moreover I cannot take this on the go lest I want white powder everywhere. I think fair ladies with normal skin might want to give this a chance.

I have this in translucent and I think it does the job as far as setting your makeup goes but I HATE the packaging. Especially when I traveled with it. I can't open or close it without powder flying up everywhere.
Bought this after seeing all the good reviews. But it's a big disappointment. I know it's cheap but I was hoping for more quality & nice finish. It makes my face looks cakey and doesn't last long and the color doesn't blend. The packaging sucks sooo bad. Everytime I open the package the powder flies everywhere.
Now I know that good quality comes with a price.
I really like this setting powder. For $3 its a pretty decent powder. I didn't expect it to make a huge difference, and it didn't. Like most reviewers said, it is quite a messy packaging. The cap isn't the most secure, I can definitely see it causing spillage in my makeup bag. Sponge is crap, instantly threw that out. Color range sucks balls in quantity and quality. The one I have (naturally beige) is too sheer and there's not enough color range.
Onto the goods > What I liked that it is the type of powder where you can just grab and dust on a layer and you'll look instantaneously flawless for a trip to the grocery store, a day of work/school etc. I wouldn't wear this to you know some extravagant event, but day to day casual things. When I apply this powder it doesn't visibly show I've-applied-some-form-of-power, no, it looks like part of your skin almost, like becoming one with your skin. So when you want to get away from the heavy duty expensive high end products and are on a budget, this would be a good try. Bottom line, I think it looks almost natural and I'd repurchase again!

This is a good product, albeit two points: The shade "Translucent" is not (which for me, turns out to be a good thing, since I was looking for a very fair powder with some coverage - I'd say this is NW10-15, slightly pink); and point 2: loose powder has become so messy and annoying, that I'm phasing it out of my make up. If these 2 things don't bother you, you should give it a try, it's very similar to the NARS loose powder in terms of texture, grade, and oil control.

Got this on clearance for less than a dollar. I've been trying several different brands trying to find one that does not cake. It is actually a really nice setting powder. I have been reaching for it instead of my other much more expensive powders. I apply with a brush, just tapping on enough to set and brushing the rest off. It does a great job and is quite invisible if you apply a small amount, a little goes a long way. Very finely milled. I live in a warm climate and find that it lasts most of the day... your choice of primer and foundation will make a difference though. Like any loose powder, it is messy, I suggest instead of removing the sticker covering the holes that dispense the powder, poke out just a few of them... makes it a lot easier to control how much product you get.

I love this powder. As the weather is heating up, I find myself wanting less coverage since heavier foundations tend to melt off. I've been using just this in the Medium shade which works well for my NC20 skin. Sometimes I use Tarte Smooth Operator under it for slightly more coverage. I'm thinking this will be my go-to in the Texas heat. No breakouts or anything and I've been using it for the past week or so. Thus far I love it & would definitely buy this again.
I really like this product. I use the translucent shade to set my foundation, and then use fix+ to get rid of the cakey look. It goes on smooth and hasnt broken me out. Its really good for the price.
The only problem is the packaging. I recently replaced this powder with the ELF HD Powder, which has a more secure top. I brought the NYC one to work with me, so it can sit un-disturbed in my desk drawer. Now I use it for touch ups during the day instead of as my HG powder at home. The reason being is the lid on the powder is not secure at all, I can definitely see it spilling and causing a huge mess. Otherwise, this is a great product.
