Oh dear god. I would never buy this again.
Who is the prior reviewer kidding?
Texture is mad thick, and having a severe white cast on the face is only something illusioned asian girls have about their obsession with dark skin/white skin. White skin looks highly unnatural, but it's nothing compared to a white cast. The white cast is reallly predominant, it's a very substantial effect, don't expect anything subtle. Even for brightening, it would be a damn shame to buy this for the exorbitant price when there's stuff in US drugstores that trump this.
Mediocre product, the effort it takes to rub in this thick stuff will give you wrinkles.

This is a white cream that is a bit thick, but the slip is okay, so blending it evenly is quite easy. It sinks pretty quickly and gives a slight white cast with some shine, which is not a problem since I already have fair skin anyway. White cast will only brighten my face :D
*NOTE to other reviewers: when I'm saying I'm fair, it means that I'm sometimes almost white. I'm around NC/NW10, so white cast really is nothing unflattering*
Actually, the consistency reminds me of Fancl Sunguard SPF30/PA+++, but Fancl is thinner. Even though Fancl gives more UVA protection, BRTC leaves more residue compared to Fancl, hence the slightly sticky feeling. Boots No7 SPF25 or Boots Soltan SPF15 also leaves residue like this, but again, Boots sunscreen offers much bigger UVA protection; Boots is 5-star UVA rating, which is equivalent to more than PPD15. PA++ in BRTC means the protection is only around PPD6 to PPD8.

The slight stickiness and shine of BRTC is quickly removed with a dusting of loose powder, although of course, any powder will go on smoother and easier on matte, velvety surface, ut at least it’s still manageable with high quality powders.. Throughout the day, it’s okay. It doesn’t get overly shiny/greasy/oily. In fact, since it's seems to be mineral sunscreen, it looks good as the day goes, helps smoothing out skin and even out skintone a bit. Please note that I have dry skin, so I don’t know how it will perform on oilier skin.

Overall, 4 out of 5. This is a pretty good sunscreen, but for me there are more cosmetically elegant formulations with even better protection. continued >>
