I have this in the parfume oil and I find it works best layered with a similar fragrance. Its good on its own but the staying power with this same perfume EDT or anotehr like scent is just awesome. Like others, I felt this was a bit more casual than most of this ilk.

This was just okay, imo. Rather boring. No bad allergic reaction w/this like I had w/Yatra. I'm sad though because I found Yatra to be so much nicer. UPDATE: Well, it took about 12-18 hrs. but I did get red bumps and itching where I sprayed this. A day later and I'm still itching the inside of my wrist. I'm staying away from Aveda...horrible skin reactions from the last 3 products I've tried. I'm sensitive but it's not usually anywhere near this bad. What's going on with Aveda???

Ancient Attar doesn't smell that ancient, but it's a very wearable
and comfortable rose-neroli with faint sandalwood in the base.
Yes it's a bit headshop and more casual than dressy. Ancient Attar is
like a new acquaintence you feel like you've known forever, a whiff
of deja vu.

Rose, Neroli, Sandalwood - all natural supposedly - may be more accords in it but barely perceptable to me. Smells a little raw, a little headshop, nicely done and lasts longer than you may think. It goes on strong rose, the neroli kind of smooths it out with the sandalwood. It's good stuff.
