As someone already said, this is my perfect red.
Two coats (without base or topcoat) lasted 4+ days without any wear at all, and this included two 12hour shifts at work where I wash my hands 5+ times an hour and use LOTS of hand sanitizer. Love this stuff!

This is a terrific rich red, not too bright or dark. Two coats dried to a glossy finish, but with some thin spots. I'd recommend three coats for a perfect lacquer. But the wear is excellent.

I have come to the conclusion that whoever was in charge of the color descriptions on the zoya website was doing some really good drugs because I haven't found many to be accurate.
This is described as a vibrant medium true mid-tone red with a glossy creme finish. A true classic red shade that's always sexy. It is described as cool. I will agree that it's a shade of red and it's a cream. However, it's actually quite a deep red. I think it's really very neutral. I can't pull off anything cool toned and this looks just great on me.
I give the color a 5 because it's beautiful on my NC 20-25 skin. I took off a lipstick for the formula as I have to apply 3 coats. 2 coats looks a little patchy.

Alix is a ruby red colour with no shimmer or sparkles. One coat comes out more red than ruby, and two coats looks ruby. If I want the colour I get with one coat, I need to be careful to apply it very evenly because it will look streaky and a bit sheer. So I recommend using two coats.
As with other zoya polishes i've tried, it's formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, and camphor free, and the texture is very very smooth. No chipping.
*edit* The reason why I took one lippy off is because I personally like the colour of one coat better than two coats, but it's hard to achieve a uniform colour for all 10 fingers with one coat. But then this is just my personal opinion of the colour.
