My all time favorite scent, together with Kenzo's Jungle.
Both are a little bit weird, strong scents, Blonde is more feminine than Jungle though.
On me this smells mostly of tuberose, but you can definitely sense the animal scents of musk and civet underneath.
All in all this a bold, feminine scent, with a weird twist. I suspect it takes a certain kind of personality to like something like this, I don't think that anyone who loves light florals etc. would love this.

This is a big tuberose, like Fracas, but lacking its creamy richness and depth. Somehow this one just screams "VULGAR" to me. Not well done. I agree: if Fracas is the Queen Bee of tuberose, Blonde is the drag queen.

Got it today from a very dear friend as a gift...first impression was a bit awkward considering the fact,I've been ''close-encountering'' tuberose in almost every perfume I liked so far...
and this one instantly reminded me of Cartier's Panthere..yes, it is the fruity (ripe apricot) meets tuberose meets ylang-ylang scent. big and heavy 80-ties, sexy piece of art..I don't quite understood this sexy part untill I left it on my hand for a while, and after an hour or so, it began to swirl through my nostrils making me kind of dizzy...
it vaguely resembles Fracas, yet Fracas is a story for itself..it is basic, very elegant,animalistic,leathery...and very retro...Blonde is on the other hand closer to big and brilliant Cartiers pieces like the one I've mentioned (Panthere), but minus the orangy part, and that makes Blonde so beautiful dry and creamy...
wonderful intensity, amazing sillage, but quite heavy on me...I'm gonna give it one more chance, but other than that...wow!

I bought this perfume years ago but I will never forget how disgusting it smelled...I seriously bought it because the bottle was beautiful and because it was called blonde...but when I got home and finally put it on I gagged...it smells like garbage....I'll never forgot how gross this perfume was...

Well wish I knew swap existed when I tossed away the FB of this . I was presented with this one - then years ago I guess - by a guy who did not know me that well... well he know the frags I used to wear (at the time it was Angel and Obsession), but regardless of that, he thought he would have been right giving me Blonde, provided that I am a blonde (well like that stupid dichotomy that there are perfumes for blondes and for brunettes).
Well this frag was a total disaster to my nose. It really made me gag. I am a lover of tuberose & white flowers but please give me my Houbigant “Quelques fleurs”! (the highest expression of white flowers to me) .
In Blonde, the tuberose is sticky sweet and really smells like rotten candy. I cannot stand it! In addition there is a strange sweet earthy note (someone described as carrot, not wrong). Could it be the civet?
It a very very loud fragrance, like a drag queen in the world of frags. Wants to appear overly feminine, but it is definitely over the top. Not elegant, not sophisitcated, let alone classy.
The bottle is a jewel (like all Versace packaging) but the frag….is luckily discontinued!

I like the bottle and the name BLONDE, but the fragrance is not for me. A too linear and strong tuberose-scent IMO. The first head-notes smell wonderful and irresistible feminine, but the drydown isn't that nice. I wore it only once at a party and then I decided to give BLONDE away, because I was very bored and the fragrance was irritating. It smells very similar to MAHORA by Guerlain. Both fragrances have a depressing effect to me. And because I'm not blond - no regrets ;-)). Both fragrances are meanwhile discontinued. There is also a similarity to FRACAS by Piguet which I like, but FRACAS smells more interesting, happy and complex. Noses are different!!!

I like Blonde. Yes, it is very "eighties", glamour, crying, like an old italian disco, too much gold, clip-on earrings etc. Smells strong, sultry, like tuberose + a hint of carrot (!) + orange cloves christmas ball. For an extravert woman.

What a heady, beautiful tuberose! I like a bit more skank with tuberose, but this is a great fragrance. A must-try for lovers of the flower.

Versace Blonde -- beautiful Fracas like fragrance of golden buttery tuberose and soft florals. Gorgeous and perfect for daytime. Not as heavy or green as Fracas but nonetheless really delightful. Plus the bottle is really strikingly pretty -- the trademark Versace meduse head heavily raised cameo in glass. Gorgeous greek key etching wrapped around the gold cap... really very pretty. In my opinion.. the best Versace fragrance going.

Intense tuberose and jasmine floral. Smells very similar to Fracas, but more wearable. I love Fracas but I feel like it’s just too much and shouts “look at me”. Like Fracas it reminds me a lot of cough syrup at first, but I like it. I get compliments on this one. The bottle is very pretty with a wild Medusa head etched into the glass.

All this week I've been doing some self-experimentation with scent-loyalty. I had no idea that I could actually stick with one scent for an entire week, but this is the scent I randomly chose. Most days it starts with a sharp, though brief, fuel-ish smelling note, but it quickly turns into a sugary tuberose. One odd day all I got was a really light and lukewarm gardenia... It's a lot less conspicuous than Fracas, but I would have been happy with a little more sillage. And for a parfum extrait, a little more lasting power might have been nice too. Not saying I'm converting to the HG theory, but getting to know this scent over a week has given me a new appreciation for it.

This was a gift from my exbf, so I guess I had many memories attached to this fragrance. I don't use it often I get older I find it more suitable for younger women (it's just me, I feel too old for Blonde). I've got many compliments on this and overall it is a sexy smell. Whoever likes tuberose, would probably like Blonde. Extra points for the bottle.

I still remember the very first time I experienced Blonde in 1996 :) Big bold and adventurous! Tuberose and Gardenia dripping like honey... Narcissus and Carnation added for a pinch of spice.... Musk and Civet for irresistible sex-appeal and Sandalwood for the yum-factor of sweetness and sensuality... It was love at first sight! Excellent quality fragrance, extra-long-lasting even in the EDT concentration and men just LOVE it. Blonde is mischievous and rambunctious and will not be told what to do or who she should be... Personally I am as Brunette as you can be, but my Blonde fits my personality to a T ;)

I like this fragrance very much and find it sexy, feminine and heady. I love the scent of Tuberose and it is compatible with my skin chemistry. If you don't like Gardenia and Tuberose, this one is probably not for you. This becomes less sweet and more earthy on the dry down. I don't find it overpowerin; I spritz three times, twice on the chest and once on the inner arm.
I found this on-line for $26 plus tax for 3.3 ounches, so that was a steal. I will buy as long as it is available (I understand that it has been discontinued).

Beautiful tuberose fragrance. Strong. Long lasting. One of the best. Other great tuberose fragrances are Robert Piguet's Fracas, Annick Goutal's Tubereuse, Caron's Tubereuse. The big advantage of Blonde is that it is much less expensive - if you can find it at a discount store such as Marshall's.

This is one of my favourites. Very similiar to Fracas but lighter.

It was my mistake to even smell this. On my list of most-hated perfumes this is probably No 1. I apologise to people who like and wear this, this must be my skin chemistry or something, but I found the smell headachy and pretty much disgusting. And that was Versace's idea of a blonde?

This smell reminds me of the vintage lots of jewelry I buy at auction...musty and old! Very strong with a bourbon like note. Not that bourbon is bad...it should go in not on the body. Not for me...to dark and mysterious. A bit like Opium.

This fragrance is my first love, and it brings back great memories. I first smelled this scent in a magazine that I was reading while waiting for a flight abroad. The trip was wonderful and so was the fragrance. It was so sophisticated, so romantic, and yet was still light and fresh. A fresh tuberose floral with deeper, richer notes. This became my first "signature scent", and I always had people inquiring as to what I was wearing. Sadly, the fragrance doesn't seem to have a very long shelf life, even when stored properly. My current bottle smells a bit stale and sour, and even the color has darkened after a very short period. None of my other fragrances seem to have this problem. I've moved on to other scents, but I'll never forget my first ;)
