Recent FDA regulatory changes have allowed Zinc Oxide and Avobenzone to be used in the same sunscreen formula. This is one of the first ones to incorporate both, giving superior UVA protection.
Day 1 of use: goes on clear, thanks to the light tint added to the product to offset the zinc's whitening effect. Very, very shiny appearance.
Day 5: Unable to make this matte, even when mixing with shiseido lotion or teasezone. Powder sticks too much and turns orangey. Also, need to stop trying as this is giving me some clogged pores.
I wound up returning it. Just too hard to wear, too heavy and pore-clogging.
