I have to say that not many would be able to pull off wearing this mauvy-nude lip colour. BUT, it is nice on me (NC15-20) with purple/lilac hue eyeshadow. Great colour in fact for the autumn/winter time.
I have worn it alone and it is very subtle...a flick of nude lip pencil settle the problem.
I have also worn it on top of a bright pink lipstick and it makes a unique accent to it.
I have also seen it on the Armani's SA who are fair skinned with blond /grey eyes...just so classy and stunning on her.
All in all I get this lip colour for my winter makeup...and that Armani's lipstick texture of course!

I almost forgot this lipstick sitting at the bottom of the drawer for a yr or so. Why?
It's the brown tone overpowering pink in this lipstick. It looked like a natural deep beige-pink when I tried it at the counter, but so nude under normal lighting that it totally washes me out (I'm a MSF 6.5). I was looking for some everyday lippie, so this requires too much eye makeup or blusher to balance.
It's a pity that I misjudged the color, because this is a very creamy & pigmented lipstick w/o any scent or taste. Although lasting power is just so-so, it is very moisturising and feels good on my lips. Not to mention the classy packaging. continued >>

i was not loving this lipstick. i stupidly bought it in a ga spending spree. thanks to the wonderful reviews on this website, i headed over to saks on my lunchbreak to check on the lipsticks. left with #10 sheer (great everyday), #5 sheer (great "special" everyday, night or special occasion), this one and #6 lip gloss (awesome universal - to add a hint of depth to any lipstick).
i was very happy with the rest of my purchases but realized that this one was a stupid impulse buy. yes, it looked great under the ga soft lights but let's face it, i rarely ever wear eye makeup and almost never wear enough to balance a nude lip.
so i'm returning this tomorrow. it's not opened so they should take it back. oh well.

Hmmmm, this color is...a sheer caramel/taupe/pink/brown with no shimmer. When you put it on, it cancels out some of the pink in your lips. Is that good? It's hard to pull off without a liner, but it does give your lips a nice creamy look. This would be the perfect lip to wear with dramatic eyes. Since I don't wear that look very often, I probably won't repurchase this.

Too much brown and too little pink - I can't imagine what I was thinking when I ordered this lipstick? My lips do not have any natural pink color to them so this lipstick just looks like brown lips on me - not a look I care for at all.
