I was very excited to recieve this product, and my expectations were fulfilled. It is fragrance free, so it does smell a bit wierd, but I hardly notice it all all once it has been applied. It has no white sheen and spreads absolutely beatifully and smoothly, even with a full beard. It does have an oily sheen, but I believe that it a good thing because it shows it has a moisturizing and protecting/healthy element to it (It has dimethicone, a good skin sealant that keeps moisture in the skin after the shower). The only downside is that it contains alot of unpronouncable chemicals in it, including methylparabens and such (which is such a drag since I am trying to do the all natural thing). I will continue to use this product because of its mix of chemical sunscreen ingredients that block uva (primarily mexoryl and avobenzone), in combination with my devita solar protective moisturizer physical sunscreen to protect my skin. I will update if this product breaks me out.
EDIT: I am knocking one lippie off because I have a feeling that this is the product responsible for some of my breakouts. I have been having this tiny papules that are very persistent, and when I leave this sunscreen out of my routine, I realize that these papules tend to heal quicker. That and the fact that I have branched out to European Sunscreen means I won't be repurchasing this product.

I have read read wonderful things in magazines about this product but I was really not that crazy about it. For only having an spf of 15, it seems very thick and greasy. It takes a long time to absorb and make-up does not apply well over it at all. It does, however, have a pleasant fragrance and is pretty much water resistant. I usually use it before working out outside and it seems to be pretty sweatproof. I have never had any problems with it running in my eyes, which is a positive thing! This product is not cheap though and I have found far better, much less expensive sunscreens with much higher spfs at the drugstore.

The best thing I can say is that I like the packaging....squeeze tube that can stand on the lid, so you would be able to get out the last bit, and fairly hygienic.
Other than that...this is one shiny and sticky sunscreen. I mean shiny as in the kind of shine when clear coat nailpolish is wet. The shine did go away after using a mattifying lotion and powder over it...only to form white streaks and pill off a few hours later! Seems like this is common thing with the Anthelios sunscreens I've tried. Add that to a measly SPF 15 and mexoryl SX instead of the better XL.....and it is going back to CVS.
