Its one of my favorite products from Skinfood. Actually one of my favorite mask ever.
The mask smells really nice, not too strong, just a hint of cooked rice and it smells just fresh.
It moisturizes the skin well and is a mild exfoliate at the same time. Depends on how you use it, I dont scrub it a lot on my face I just leave it 15-20 min and then I wash it off. I use it mainly in summer and its a great refreshment mask and very relaxing.

I always keep it in my fridge so its cool when I put in on my face.
I'd say you can keep it for about 6 months (opened) until it expires. You will notice a change in the smell.

This skinfood's rice mask wash off pack was really good for my skin! it really rubbed the dirt off my face, making it glow under the bathroom light! i really really liked the way it soothed my irritated skin and calmed down the redness. i am totally in love with this and will be using it every single day! another thing i love about this product is that there are absolutely A LOT of products in there, so i really do think its going to last long, probably more than 2 years, even if i used it everrrry day! :)

i have combo skin (oily in the nose area) so this product is wonderful for the rest of my skin except my nose.
ROUTINE (i only do this specific routine once a week btw)

1. makeup wipes, cleansing oil (for suncreen), philosophy purity and clarisonic mia 2.
2. after shower i put a boscia nose strip (only once a week)
3. after that i put on queen helene mint julepe mask on nose and put this lovely rice mask on the rest of my face. after 15 minutes i wash it off and wow. my skin is even! <3 nose is cleansed and non-oily (but not dry either) and the rest of my skin is sooooo soft! i feel like i shouldnt have to put anything else on but i still do my nightly regimen
4. clinique eye cream, caudalie serum and skinfood pomegranate night mask and my skin looks so plump and dewy the next day!

i definitely recommend this product for GENTLE EXFOLIATION and HYDRATION! of course i have to use other product for this to work but i really like it and would not want to change this from 2x a week regimen. ive used other "gentle" exfoliator that are too harsh and make my skin feel dry (clinique!) but this one is really good.
the price is good too, have to get it shipped from overseas. and the packaging is the only thing i dont like about it. feel like i get my germs on it so i always cleanse my hands before taking some out. continued >>

Please only buy this if you're actually in Korea, or buy this from Korea Gmarket as it's much, much cheaper! If it's sold in your home country (not Korea) the price is usually jacked up 2-2.5x. I bought 5 tubs of this during my trip in Korea after hearing my friends rave over it, and true enough, this scrub is amazing.

I have very sensitive oily/combi skin and this rice mask/scrub suits my face just well. The scrub beads aren't very large and are softer, so it's definitely not harsh on my face. It comes out as a gooey white texture (which is less dry than a normal face scrub) and it feels really cool and refreshing on my face! You can choose to wash immediately after scrubbing or leave it on for 5-10 minutes, I usually leave it on. And after I wash it off, my face instantly becomes smoother and brighter. Yes, it's that awesome. The effect only lasts 1-3 days depending on your skin, but I feel that it's mild enough to be used once in every 2-3 days.

Most importantly it won't dry out your skin as it has some kind of hydrating effect. But it's still important to put some toner/hydrating skin care product after scrubbing!

Will definitely buy again once my stock runs out!

This is one of South Korea-based Skinfood's best-selling products both in Asia and at its USA retailers, and for good reason. This is my favorite wash-off mask, which doubles as a rinsing exfoliator with ground rice that refines my skin without drying or irritating it. I have combo-oily skin that dries during the winter and gets very oily during the summer, but regardless of the dry or moist seasons, my skin feels refreshed, balanced, soft, smooth, and radiant after use.

Some of the other exfoliators I have used are Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub, Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Cleansing Mask, Neutrogena Purifying Pore Scrub, and Skinfood Wash-Off Mask in Papaya Yogurt. I detest the Clean & Clear exfoliator because its exfoliating agent is relatively large and irritating, and Skinfood's Papaya mask, while very moisturizing and great for dry skin, may have exfoliating beads large enough to cause irritation to sensitive skin.

The Rice mask likens to that of the Neutrogena Purifying Pore Scrub in the size of the exfoliating agent; both are very gentle on the skin, but Neutrogena's is primarily a scrub whereas Skinfood's is a mask intended to be rinsed off after 10 minutes left on. Between the two, I recommend the Rice mask more for drier skin because it is creamier, and the Purifying Pore Scrub for oilier skin since it is a more watery formula. But both will work just fine for normal or combination skin.

The Rice mask jar contains 100ml of product which—given that you use about half a tea-spoon—will last between 4 to 6 months of regular use if used every other day to every week. In the US I believe this retails for $17, but it can be obtained for $10–$12 on eBay directly from South Korea. For up to half a year of use and quality, it is worth the investment. continued >>

I bought this mask after I tried the sample and this really works. I too have a dry/sensitive skin so I can't use it every week (once a month at most) but after Every application my skin looks cleaner and brighter. I don't use it that much so it lasts quite a long time. I'll get it again once it runs out

Great wash-off mask for sensitive skin. I had my monthly breakout and couldn't use any other masks but this one actually soothed my skin and reduced the redness and spots so my face looked a little brighter (and "cleaner"). Like a milder version of the black sugar wash-off mask and not as drying.

I love this product! It keeps oil/sebum at bay and my skin is moisturized too, not dry or tight feeling after washing.The one thing I really noticed after my first usage is that my face was less shiny or oily after 4-5 hours had gone by. Normally after 4 or 5 hours after I washed my face, I can see a slight oiliness on my forehead as well as my nose. But after using this, my face is just moisturized and barely any shine/oily. It also made my skin really smooth and soft when rinsing it off.

I would say that this product is very gentle and it moisturise for people with sensitive skin like me. The product is not too expensive and it works. After using it, my skin felt smoother and brighter. It would not cause breakouts or rashes which is a good thing for me or else, it would take months to recover. The smell is ok and I had a sample which can use for 2 times. I see the effect only using it for 1 to 2 times, worth it. I like to try different products but if it's my last choice, I'll grab it.
