Penelope is a warm terracotta creme, rosier than a typical planter pot. Goes on opaque, could possibly be a one coat option. Love the color spoons from Zoya.com...you can never really tell a shade until you see it.

Well, we all see colors differently. To me Penolope is definitely salmon pink, although it does look mauve under certain lights. It's a little deep, so while I've worn it on my fingers, I prefer it as a pedicure color. It is warm and suits my skin tone fine. I'm not sure how it would look against cooler tones. I like that it has no frost at all -- completely what they call matte. I do like Zoya polishes especially when used with the line's base and top coats. Then you get a nice shine and good staying power.

I would describe this colour as a warm dusty rose. It looks ok on my fair skin but doesn't really do much. It is a safe colour that would be ok for work. I gave it four lippies as it's not bad, just for me the colour is a bit blah. I prefer either darky vampie colours or different neutrals-this is niether. It goes on smooth and streak free, lasts a while without chipping.

The application went very well for this polish. It did chip after only two days. It is an office appropriate color. I was a little surprised when I first received it, since Zoya was calling this "apricot". There are no apricots this color. It is a medium-light mauve creme. My picture makes it look more pinkish, but it is really a mauve. It is nice, but not super exciting.
