Only buy this if you like the smell of Cocoa butter. Not everyone does. This lotion was rather thin, nothing special.
I first saw this lotion while I was grazing through the clearance aisle at my local target, it was super cheap and it smelled soooo good i had to get it. I got it in the travel size tube, and I'm glad I did because now I can just throw it in my purse and take it with me everywhere. the formula is on the thinner side however this is definitely a good thing considering the fact that summer is almost here! It absorbs super quickly, which i like because i hate that greasy, oily feeling some other lotions leave on my hands.
I've used better lotions than this. The only reason I really bought it was for the cocoa/shea butter scent other than that the moisturizing part leaves much to be desired. I feel like it comes out too light and not as thick as I would like it because it feels like it doesn't moisturize enough. But for hte price I really cannot complain.
Oh, geez. Okay...so I got a travel sized tube of this stuff once and was really surprised how thick and creamy it was. I tend to not ever buy Suave products because I automatically think of them as low-quality and ineffective. I remembered how much I ended up liking the mini version of this, so I grabbed the large bottle today. Unfortunately, I find the product in the full size bottle to be a far cry from the mini. It's watery, thin, and non-moisturizing. It does soak in quite nicely and smells great, but I need a thick coat of moisturization no matter the season.
Been using this lotion for years and I love it! When friends come over and use it, they comment on how they love the smell and use too! Yes, this lotion is on the thinner side, but thats what makes it stand out because it absorbs quickly and softens great! Unlike most lotions, it doesnt leave a slimy residue on your hands, and its dirt cheap! will repurchase again and again!
THIS LOTION SMELLS SO GOOD
I LOVED IT
it moisturized very well, it's my favorite lotion.
Albeit on the runnier side of lotions, this has an amazing, comforting smell at an awesome price. Definitely does what it promises to do.
I love this stuff! It's the only thing I continually use and even though I've tried much more expensive lotion in the past, I always regret buying it. This has a light, chocolate-ty smell, that disappears almost immediately and doesn't interfere with the smell of my perfume. But the best part, and why I keep going back, is that it has no taste. This is probably too much information, but, I slather up at night after a shower and before getting in bed with my hubby, and the last thing I want is for my skin to taste chemically. It's very light, absorbs quickly, and while it is not the most moisturizing, it smells and tastes good. And did I mention it's dirt cheap?
O Suave Cocoa Butter with Shea, how I love thee! Queen Heleneís cocoa moisturizer was a staple of mine for a long time... until I went out on a limb tried this and Iím quite glad I did. I love the chocolaty smell, but it doesnít seem to linger for too long. It absorbs quickly and doesnít leave that greasy feel that QH does. Iíve gone through 4+ family-size bottles of this stuff, and I *never* finish lotions. I also have a few travel-sized bottles for my on-the-go Cocoa Butter fix. I hope Suave never stops making this glorious skin concoction!
Edit 7/16/12: Still my HG lotion! I can't fathom how many bottles I've gone through, let alone those handy little purse-sized tubes.
This is my favorite lotion! I usually just use baby oil after I get out of the shower but I was out one day.My mom had a sample bottle of this so I used it instead. It works really good! I live at the beach but I still get dry winter skin even though its like 60 degrees outside. For me it dries quickly and it smells great. It makes my skin so soft! I use a heavier cocoa butter cream for really dry areas though. For two dollars a bottle you cant beat the price!
