This eyeliner just doesn't stay put. I went without mascara a few days and wore this eyeliner only to determine which was the problem, and this eyeliner almost seemed to be flaking off. If set with powder it holds up a little better, but it's really hard to get it to stay in place throughout the day. I'm currently trying Clinique Quickliner in dark chocolate as a replacement. It's just not acceptable for someone my age to be wearing makeup that's all over the place.
Most eye pencils, even waterproof ones, flake off or fade on me, but Prestige Total Intensity line never fails me. I don't use this for my waterline but I line my eyes with it and it looks beautiful.
I love the total intensity liners. They are so creamy and pigmented and they really so last a long time on your eyes. I prefer using brown over black because it isn't too harsh, so I use this color for my everyday look. Awesome tip that I read was if you want this to last on your waterline, make sure you wipe waterline with qtip first and then apply liner. I also love smudging this liner on my upper lash line for a daytime smoky look. This is my 4th liner from this line. Def would repurchase! :)

LOVE! I keep coming back to this stuff. At 5-6 it's cheaper than many other DS liners and much better!
My HG liner was Bobbi Brown gel..until I discovered this stuff. And other reviewers said the same. So it must be amazing because everyone loves the Bobbi. (I *think* it is closest to resembling some shade between Espresso and Caviar if that existed, but I haven't used Bobbi liners in about a year, since this stuff, so I am not certain)
The only annoying part is that it needs to be sharpened often, automatic liners are more convenient.
The color is a pure blackened brown. It doesn't have those annoying light or red undertones of many black brown liners. It is darker than the typical brown liner but softer than black. I think in many lights it just looks like a very soft warm black but close up you can see it's brown.
The pencil is so creamy. Unlike most other pencil/automatic liners, a few strokes and the line is bold and visible. So easy to apply, and you only need a light hand.
Even though it is very creamy, the staying power is incredible and the only time I have experienced it smudging or running was when I have forgotten to wash my makeup off at night, which doesn't happen so often.
I think if you wear it on your inner rims or inner lashline it may transfer a bit to your contact lenses..that has happened to me but I was also wearing mascara at the time and I think the mascara was the problem, not the liner. But since I don't usually put liner inside my eyes it isn't an issue for me.
I highly highly recommend! It is one of the best DS products I have ever tried and I tend to try many different products, often.

I have bought this pencil in every colour but the bold brown is my favourite. I stumbled across it while looking for a dupe for my HG (but incredibly expensive) YSL Dessin Du Regard waterproof pencil. May I say that I swatched the two pencils side by side on my hand and they looked EXACTLY the same. I asked a few people to tell me which one they thought was the expensive brand and which was the cheaper (Prestige).. and said they were identical, but if they had to pick one..everyone picked the Prestige swatch. The two are identical in colour, texture, smoothness, and they both wore EXACTLY the same throughout the day. So now I am in love, I have purchased several Prestige pencils for the price of one YSL product and I have received (in my opinion) exactly the same product just with a different wrapper.

HG pencil eyeliner!!! I have this product in brown and olive, this eyeliner is jut so perfect, I will be sure to buy the rest of the colors :) first of all this eyeliner is soo creamy and pigmented, it literally glides on my lids just like an urban decay 24/7 liner. And the brown is dark and stands out, and the olive is almost a darkgold on me. When I saw how creamy these eyeliners were and how easily they glided on I was like great, they're going to smudge everywhere. This eyeliner, when you apply it will NOT SMUDGE. After a minute or so it is like tattooed to ur skin and u will really need a good makeup remover to get rid of it. I can put it on my top lid, on my oily oily lids and it stays put ALL day, no matter how hot. I haven't tried it on my waterline, but on my lower lajline it doesn't flake or smudge and Lasts all day. No fading either, and it removes easily with a good makeup remover. I got mine for $1.17 each, which beats my smudgy revlon colorstay which was $8!!! It's cruelty free too, and portable. I'm sure the black is REALLLLY black because the brown is very dark, The only downside is I'm not to crazy about the packaging. It's so soft, which is good so it doesn't pull or drag on ur skin, but it melted in my car a little which has never happened to me with any other liner. I fixed it by putting it in the fridge for an hour, and it was a perfect solution. When u sharpen it breaks easily, so it's hard to get a thin line unless again u do the same trick and cool it down for an hour. The fridge will be your best friend with this eyeliner, but it's really worth it :) I got mine at rite aid, I hope the automatic liner and liquid eyeliners from prestige are just as good!

I love this eyeliner. Actually, I've never used eyeliner before Prestige, but this is amazing stuff. I got a 3-pack for around 15 bucks on Amazon in around August 2011 and it's February 18, 2012 and I still have a fourth of the first eyeliner left.
I did some research, because for an eyeliner I didn't want it looking too "fake", so after a lot of searching, I decided to go with Bold Brown, and I'm very happy with the decision.
It wears well, and even though my eyes get so oily through the course of the day, this eyeliner stays true to its color and stays on by the time I take it off. (Which can be tricky sometimes because it doesn't budge easily.) But, a few swipes with a remover pad and it's for the most part gone. It does wear off after 7 or so hours in my inner corner, but that's to be expected. Even through sweat, this eyeliner stays. It's not heavy, and the sharpening can be a little crude, but you don't have to take away too much to reveal somewhat of a point. (I just use a NYX sharpener)
The color is fantastic, and it's practically black. It makes me wonder what the actual black looks like...
Also, I saw some reviews talking about this ruining contact lenses, but I wear contacts and I have absolutely no problems with this.
Bottom line: Highly reccomended, even for those with oily skin. I think I will continue using this as long as they make it. Really, really, a great, long lasting eyeliner.

Absolutely fantastic. That's all there is to it.
Eyeliner and I have always had a love-hate relationship. I love the way it defines my eyes but I HATE the way it smudges, transfers to my upper lid (biggest pet peeve ever with semi-hooded eyes), and migrates to my inner corner during the day.
My Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in black-brown recently broke off (why I don't like twist up liners) and I finally got around to getting a new eyeliner. I was swatching various liners in the store and swatched two brown prestige liners: this total intensity liner (bold brown) and their brown liner from the regular line. The other one was not pigmented, hard, crumbly and just awful. This liner glided on like a dream with the perfect very dark brown colour.
The application is flawless. You only need the lightest touch for amazing colour payoff and it glides on smoothly and creamily. I was worried at first that this creaminess would see the eyeliner in the crease of my eye after 10 minutes, but the wear is also absolutely amazing. I applied this to my upper lashline at 7 AM and it looks pristine 10 hours later. It was easy to smudge for the look I wanted but once it set, it was set for good until I chose to remove it. It also has fantastic wear on the lower lashline (I just use a touch and smoke it out with a pointy q-tip) and on the waterline/tightline. I personally line my waterline with a soft white eyeliner every day and I have never been able to tightline my eyes with a dark colour because it would migrate onto the white and give me a racoony look. I can wear this liner on my tightline all day (no need to reapply) with white on the bottom and have them both perfect all day.
The only downside I can think of is that because this eyeliner is so soft, it likely won't last all that long but it really isn't an issue for me because the performance is so great.
I can't wait to try more colours (green, purple, teal, blue!) to complement my gold-brown eyes and while I wish they made these liners in brighter colours, the smokey ones will still look great :)

I had high hopes for this product. Thought it might be an Urban Decay 24-7 dupe, but it's too soft. Had to sharpen constantly because it breaks and loses it's point. Went through pencils so quickly! It does have staying power Had a makeover and when she wiped off my makeup, she couldn't get this to budge! Just the pencil is so soft! Too much work, too much sharpening and too much money in the end.
EDIT - I tried to use it again, and I do like it. It is a very dark brown, really almost black. Good for days you want to go heavy. Also, doesn't smudge much. I guess I am appreciating it more again. Just go easy on it. Use it very softly so the tip doesn't break off. Adding a point, cause I'm feeling the love again.
