I went into the Claire's Accessories store and asked for a demo of the Part Pizazz (see this link: http://www.brittanykersh.com/partpizazz/partpizazz.html), a scissor-like styling tool that enables you to make those nifty zigzag parts.
The lady took the tool and used the tip to 'draw' a zigzag line on my sister's head. Then she separated the two wings.

I bought the item but returned it, unopened, a day later. I went home and tried the same thing with a cheap rat-tail comb on my sis: I "drew" the zigzag on her scalp with the tail tip, separted the parts manually and got the same effect!

The Part Pizazz (made from cheap quality plastic) costs $15 for the tool and $35 for the tool, stencils and video (I'm in Canada). Save your money and do it with a rat-tail comb! continued >>
