I got a sample of Chocolate Chip with Lucky Penny as a GWP and as much as I like Chocolate Chip for a Fall/Winter 2012 look, I've noticed that it fades considerably within a few hours to the point where it doesn't have the intensity it did earlier and I must reapply to get the color back to where it was then. And for the price you pay, I would expect eyeshadows that last longer than that. So, while it is a nice color for a dramatic smoky brown look, there are probably dupes for this color in other brands that actually last longer on the lid.
I got a small sample of French Vanilla with Rum Spice with a Gift With Purchase. It is a very good base color or highlighter. I use this almost every time I need a highlight color for the brow bone. Once I am out of this color I will most likely repurchase it. It is a matte beige color, very neutral.
Contains a matte ivory cream shadow and a dark chocolate matte eye shadow. Nothing really interesting here. I am using up the cream as a highlighter. Clinique eye shadows are not my favorite.
meh...so boring. This is the most basic palette to be offered by Clinique in a gwp: white matte color, and the dark brown matte color. The only thing I liked about it is that the color lasted all day but I think matte colors that have no dimension are very aging, and this duo is very 1990s. But I will keep it because i like the vanilla color, and I could use it inner corner of the eye.
