This is my first high-end hair dryer. Apparently it retails for $140 but I got it at Marshall's for $70. I soooooooo believe the hype now. It took me 30 minutes to dry my shoulder length african-american hair because I am not coordinated enough with having to hold the brush and the dryer. I used a ceramic brush and my hair came out so straight and smooth! Love it. It was rather quiet too. I will be updating once I've used it more.

I recently upgraded from a cheap hair dryer that did an alright job to this one that does an awesome job both drying and straightening my hair. I've never gotten these results with other dryers that I purchased. This dryer does an excellent job.
