Pros: +seems to alcohol-free as per the ingredients listed; + affordable; +contains vitamins and panthenol; + holds well; + defines curls nicely

Cons: -sticky afterfeel; -leaves buildup; -made my hair crunchy, dry and dull.

Overall: I really wanted to like this gel, it is a knockoff of Alberto European styling gel. However, this gel was too sticky and made my hair rather stiff. In fairness though, it is a mega hold gel, which is probably why I shouldn't have expected moisturizing/conditioning benefits. Anyway, I ended up returning this product to Shoppers Drug Mart. Hopefully, Life Brand will introduce new gels in the future; they use to make such good ones because they were alcohol free and moisturizing at the same time.
