Surprisingly this is an ok moisturizer. I have oily skin and this did not break me out. As the packaging states, this is for combi skin types. I cant imagine a person with dry skin using this as I find this quite ok for me whom have oily skin. I use this in the night time. Not sure about the prices bcos I got this as a deluxe sample. Used this long enough to make a decent review. Not the best but def not bad.

Anyone saying this product made them "break out" in tiny bumps probably had an allergic reaction to this. That was my experience with this.
I at first thought I was getting acne as well, my entire forehead had tons of tiny little bumps, they weren't red or anything though so they weren't noticeable to others but I certainly noticed them. I also had the bumps all along the side of my face.
I stopped using the moisturizer and after a few days the tiny bumps were completley gone. I'm sure if I had taken a benadryl they would have gone away faster.
Now, my skin is pretty resilient. I would never use the word sensitive to describe it and have never had a product give me an allergic reaction before this one. Does anyone know what ingredient in this might be causing the allergic reactions?

So I got a sample of this. Tried it for about 2 weeks. Omg, let me tell you it broke me out so bad! I have little bumps on my cheeks and chin. Very disappointed in this moisturizer.

This was a life saver for me. I tried almost every DS moisturizer and they always broke me out. I got this as a sample from Ulta and with just one use I saw a huge improvement in the tone and texture of my skin. I now use this daily and it's very moisturizing and my skin never feels greasy or tight. I had this in the combo skin one but now that it's getting colder here I need a little more moisture so I went and got the normal one and I could definitely tell the difference. This one is a lot more moisturizing and it doesn't really have a smell which kind of sucks cause I actually really liked the earthy smell the other one had haha. But it's a price I'll pay for zero breakouts and huge skin improvement. HG

This was a good moisturizer. It hydrated very well and it woke up my tired dull skin. It added some radiance, making it a perfect day moisturizer. I got compliemnts on how pretty my skin looked. It didn't break me out, which is good. I actaully think it improved the condition of my skin. I'll buy it again, but I'll keep my eyes open for something better.

does anyone have a good dupe for it besides the new one.??? Im not willing to spend 20something dollars on something that might not work as well.

I love this moisturizer. Too bad it's d/c. easy to use (pump), smells very gentle, soaks into my skin right away leaving it soft, it has cleared my skin, no breakouts surfaced from this (occ'l but it's due to what I eat). I can't remember the price I paid, I think it was around 20$ at the bare essentials store. I Bought this in january and i still have less than half left. It's usually really hard for me to find a moisturizer or skin product that my face tolerates but I really enjoyed this on. I bought the replacement so I will try that and cross my fingers it's the same or better.

Two words: LOVE IT! I love this product! I've tried several different moisturizers and none have compared to this one. This moisturizer leaves my face so smooth, clear and bright. I don't feel oily or greasy or have that residual feel. I could use as little or as much as I want. I use it with or without make up. I have nothing bad to say about it, hence the 5 lipstick rating...Highly recommended.

I am on my second bottle of this stuff and I really like it. I love the smell and the consistency. It doesn't smell strong and it is very thick but also light at the same time. This doesn't leave a film on my face, it soaks in very quickly. I have acne-prone skin and this doesn't break me out. I gave it 4 out of 5 because I just feel like it could be doing more. This is being dc'd so I think I'm going to try Dermalogica's active moist after having good reactions from a sample after I finish what I have left.
**EDIT I've upped this from 4 to 5 lippies because I have finished my second tube and also tried other moisturizers and I still love this one because I feel it hydrates me the best. This was discontinued, however BE released a new line and their combination skin moisturizer so far for me is the exact same product, just different packaging.

my face LOVES this. i do not usually break out unless it's hormonal or stress related and also with neutrogena moisturizers! i stopped using my old one and bought this and i can't believe how great it works. it actually fades my dark spots away and it soothes my combination skin perfectly. the smell is kinda soothing, like a clean earthy smell i love it. so happy i found this!

I bought bareMinerals' Matte SPF 15 Foundation (infused with RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex) [holy long name, Batman!] because I wanted a facial product to absorb the shine from my face. My other foundation, a liquid one, works okay, but I always felt like I was caking stuff on. Like my pores were drowning.
During an overnight trip, I saw my friend apply powder foundation with her brush, and her face always looks so fresh. She recommended Bare Minerals, which is how I found myself at a Sephora on Black Friday.
After getting a skin match with a beauty associate (I'm "Light" apparently, no creative name for this product), my face looked so evened out in tone and not cake-y or heavy at all. I was impressed! And it's fun to put on with a poofy brush.
Later on in the day, my face did get a little of its usual shine again, but not as shiny as usual. I would call this make-up experience a success for a girl who suffers oily cheeks and nose on the regular.

I got this on sale for $19 at Ulta. I love it! I actually like the smell. It's really moisturizing for my combo skin without being oily! The ingredients are great. They're discontinuing this in favor of a new BE skincare line March 2011, which is why I got it on sale.
This hydrates better than CeraVe. I love the packaging, too!

I've tried many moisturizers before, but this is the FIRST to make my skin break out into a bumpy, itchy rash! Thanks a lot for ruining my face. Pure minerals you can sleep on my arse!

This is a nice average moisturizer. It sinks into my skin and doesn't leave my face oily or shiny. So far it hasn't caused any breakouts.

Totally not worth the money. I love BE foundation and even used the primer before I fell in love with Monistat but this stuff is just blah. Didnt notice anything with my skin from this. I might as well rubbed hand cream on my face for what this did. Definitely will not repurchase.

I LOVE BE and use all of their make up and have never had an issue. I've also never been prone to breakouts (i've honestly never had one - I have olive skin tone and it's just not in my nature). SO, I get the cleanser/moisturizer duo and it's the only change in my routine. I started using it on Saturday and now i'm 5 days in and today I woke up with tons of tiny pimples on each cheek. I thought it was an allergic reaction but then I realized it must be the product. I've never had an issue with any other BE product but definitely want to return this immediately! :( sad! I hope my face clears up ASAP.

I received a generous sample of this from the BE store, and have been using it every night for the last week. I find that now the weather is warmer, I can't use my Laura Mercier night cream anymore, or else I wake up with an oil slick. (I have combo skin with any oily t-zone.)
Anyway, this lotion absorbs very quickly into the skin so you don't feel like you're wearing anything. I use about 2 pea sized dabs on my entire face. When I wake up, my t-zone is only moderately shiny, and my skin feels comfortable and smooth. I can't attest to any anti-aging properties, but do find that my skin looks quite radiant.
as others have mentioned, this lotion does have a slightly earthy smell, but that fades rather quickly upon application. The fullsize of this is in an opaque cream-colored container with a pump, so while it is sanitary, I do wish it were see-through so I could more easily see when it runs out. Anyway, for a little over $30, this is not bad, and if I don't have any issues with breakouts, I will surely purchase for the summer! continued >>

This has an Ew kind of scent to it, but it is a nice average moisturizer. i've used almost half my product so it's a product i use just not one I love. fairly high price for somehing I only reach for to use up not because i think it's a HG. not a rebuy and only 4 because the smell turns me off.
