Detangles immediately (I have thick, naturally-curly-now-chemically-straightened hair which gets tangled up awfully)
Adds a decent amount of shine
Scent- rather chemically
Packaging is TERRIBLE
Not nourishing enough for dry/damaged hair
In short- While this isn't the ultra-hydrating, softening conditioner that Ive been looking for, its still a decent conditioner for someone with normal/dry hair.
Ok, I purchased this after reading the awesome reviews pretty much everywhere on the internet. My hair is curly, thick and dry and I straighten it. Since getting pregnant, my hair has gotten straighter but somehow dryer so I needed something new. I've never really found an HG shampoo or conditioner - and I've tried everything. I just finished washing, drying and flat ironing and so far, I'm really impressed. First off, yes, the bottles do suck can't argue there. The product smells nice- nothing special, but nice and clean. The conditioner is thick- which is a must for girls with thick dry hair! - and upon rinsing, my hair felt really clean, but super smooth and moisturized. I used only my Sabino Lok & Blok, which has no fragrance, and blew dry and flat ironed. My hair is noticeably softer and silkier than usual, smells really nice and clean, and most importantly has a very nice shine. Doesn't look or feel dry at all, especially the ends. This is only after 1 use, so I'm curious to see how this holds up after a few uses but so far, I'm feeling very optimistic...will update if my feelings change. Think this could be an HG though.... :)
I really like the product which works well on my always frizzy hair. However, the packaging is horrendous. The plastic is so hard you cannot squeeze it out so you have to remove the cap altogether and shake it.
I love this conditioner and I really want to try out the shampoo. My hair is really damaged from bleach. I used a lot of protein treatments to get it feeling normal again, but after awhile it seemed to become ineffective since I overused it...so I knew I had to use something moisturizing. Most other conditioners I used were too heavy and made my hair greasy and STILL tangled, but this one is perfect. It smells really great and clean. It makes my hair feel soft and not all rough. It's a nice, effective product that is actually worth the price IMO.
I absolutely love love love this conditioner. It was recommended to me by a cosmetologist and she was right! I have curly thick hair and this conditioner does everything it says will do. The smell is fabulous and is super hydrating, hence the name Drench
Oh my, I love this shampoo and conditioner.
I gave it a "3" price range because I'm a cosmetologist-- I get 50% off discounts where I get it. :P
I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and it's frizzy and wavy and naturally feels dry-- this shampoo/conditioner combination completely restores the way I feel about my hair! Haha. It's never too greasy, it smells wonderful, and penetrates the hair with moisture wonderfully. This truly is a moisturizing duo.
The packaging is nice. I prefer the flip top, but I get the liters so I can put in a pump if I want to.
So far, I really like the shampoo and conditioner pair together! Really does hydrate my hair and smells nice! I love how the conditioner is very thick and hydrating, not too heavy to make my hair greasy though. Also, my hair does not feel weighed down, even though it is very fine, it just moisturizes and makes my hair very easy to work with, and very soft
This is an excellent conditioner! I love the shampoo in this line too, but this conditioner is exceptionally amazing!! My hair is long, wavy and insanely course and dry naturally. When I use this conditioner it feels so amazing and is about 20 times more manageable!! I'd recommend to this for all hair types though because its not greasy at all!! HG!!
this is a really nice conditioner.i only use the conditioner i find the shampoo combo a bit overloaded and it makes my hair very brittle instead of nice and smooth. The scent is somewhat bothersome. Smells like liquid keratine or something.Overall this is a great product:)
I was really happy with this conditioner. My hair is very fine and tangles terribly when it's wet. After rinsing this my hair feels extremely smooth. This makes it much easier to comb out my hair. As I said with the Drench shampoo...not a big fan of the scent. It's very strong imo. Overall, I liked this line and will buy more when I run out.
As far as packaging goes, Sebastian should consider revamping their entire product line. I don't find it to very eye catching or visually appealing. Had it not been for my hairdresser recommending this to me, I probably wouldn't have given it a try.
