I finally found a vanilla absolute that smells like Aveda's vanilla absolute (perfume) but this one is not gone in 20 minutes. it is still light and does not last more than a couple hours, but for a vanilla that smells this good, I'll take it! The perfect vanilla scent! It is not sweet or cake like. It is an almost bitter, simple vanilla scent. Just like a real good quality vanilla bean smell.
UPDATE: This really is the absolute best vanilla I have ever found. I just wish it lasted longer. It smells so perfect I go thru a bottle every two months. I am going to try making my own with vanilla absolute before it is diluted, then dilute it myself in jojoba as a carrier oil so I can control the scent intensity.
