My hair slipped out of other curling irons I tried, so I really liked the strong clamp on this curling iron and had used it for as long as I can remember. Even though I didn't like the button placement and would accidentally shut it off, I figured it was a small issue. In my first irons I owned, the spring broke (before I knew I could buy replacement springs) so I went through a couple of these curling irons. I thought "It's cheap enough, I'll keep re-purchasing." This last iron just shorted out in the middle of me doing my hair for work. I hadn't had it very long, so I gave up on Revlon (that was a traumatizing dealbreaker for me! haha.) and switched to Conair Infiniti that day! The Conair is AMAZING!! While I originally loved Revlon's strong clamp, I realized that it was the cause of a lot of breakage due to it pulling on my fragile hair. There is a happy medium between irons that don't hold your hair and irons that pull your hair -- CONAIR :) Also, after using the Conair I realize the Revlon didn't make my curls last that long. It's almost the end of my day and my curls still look fabulous! And that's using the Conair on medium heat (don't remember the degrees but it's like the second lowest setting) while I always used the highest setting with my Revlon. And maybe it's just me, but my curls look shinier with the Conair as well. Overall, my Revlon disappointing me was the best thing that happened to me :)

These are my favorite curling irons ever. I've got 2 of them and they curl my hair so nicely. I've got really stick straight, hard to curl hair and I can get my whole head curled in about 15 minutes, which isn't long at all for me. I also love that with these irons, my curls last for days. I've tried other (cheap) irons, and they don't compare. I love these.

Overall I am impressed with this very affordable curling iron! I spent $$ on my CHI flat iron, but did not want to shell out more for another heating/styling tool, and this one fit the bill for me. One thing different about it is the type of grip it has on your hair. I have been previously frustrated with my old irons in how my hair slipped out so easily before even curling. This one goes to the other extreme. So if you want one that you hair glides through fairly easy, this one is not for you. But I adapted quickly and got the knack for it, appreciating it qualities and know not to pull or yank my hair with it. It has 30 second heat-up, and 30 adjustable heat settings up to 400 degrees, which is plenty to create a beautiful curl. It has a long cord, which is another plus. Go Revlon!

Due to the area that they placed the buttons I always turn it off while I'm curling my hair, or lower the heat. Terrible design. It's definitely just painted metal, and i'd rather have it just be metal because of the paint it doesn't get hot or something. My curls don't stay even when i spray they before and after curling. This is a terrible product. I have to return it ASAP but i keep forgetting to go back to ULTA, since I don't curl my hair everyday.

This curling iron really surprised me! I got this for $19.99 @ Ulta. They had a Revlon curler on sale for $10.00, but upon closer inspection, this curler is better. It has a silicone thumb-grip, and a silicone cap on the end.
The buttons are digital, and the cord is tangle free. The hottest it will go is 400 degrees, which is more than hot enough to curl all types of hair. The cord is long. Um, it glides quite nicely throughout my hair. My hair doesn't catch on the handle or the curler stand.
I have soft hair curls, which doesn't feel dry or crispy after curling. I have VERY fine hair which is a pain in the butt to curl, but my curls are holding nicely with this iron. Feels like a high-end curler, without the high-end price. I am VERY impressed, and I would recommend this to all! :] continued >>
