Just picked this up today I adore it. Lovely grayish purple. It's a shame that zoya isn't widely available here.
4/5 because it's so hard to find in the UK.

Love this shade. It's unique cause its a lilac with a pale yellowy flash. I have to admit I hate how Zoya names all their shades with first names, I like OPI's or Essie's marketing better when it comes to that.

I adora Zoya Zara to bits and pieces! She is a milky kind of lilac purple. Very feminine, pretty and classy. Subtle enough to sport at a summer or springtime wedding yet still calls attention on a date or at a party. I applied just 2 coats, which gave me a still semi-transparent look. I don't mind it at all though - it actually looks good that way! Zara has these awesome rainbow-colored microglitters in her that adds to the total awesome effect. All in all, she is a very girly and timeless shade that just screams "look at me and admire!" without at all being loud, bold or over-the-top. I love Zara so much.

Awesome color. Purple with gold shimmer, that really shines in the sun. Like most Zoyas, the application is smooth and easy. Opaque in 3 coats, but I like it lighter and shimmery in 2.
Great color, though it wouldn't look fab on everyone. It's a cool-ish purple, while the gold seems to make it a bit warmer. I think if I were more tan it would look a little washed out, but as is, it's very attractive.

It doesn't stain, you can brush twice at the same place and the brush doesn't take the polish with it, it doesn't thicken, easy to clean and dries fast.
The only problem I had was that I enter the pool. My polish peeled off a nail and lost shine, becoming similar to the suede finish.

This is my first Zoya product and I love the formula, it applied perfect. I love the color but not on me. I'm lightly tanned right now and this still looks washed out! I think this would look pretty on medium and dark skintones.

I love this color. It was my first Zoya, and it's one of those colors that, when I'm wearing it, I can't stop looking at my nails. The gold shimmer is very pronounced, and contrasts beautifully with the purple. Soft, and work appropriate too, but intriguing at the same time.

Zara is a beautiful color, the purple was lovely but the gold shimmer was a bit toooo warm for me. Quite unfortunate. I gave it away.
Good application, good brush, not too watery or streaky. I had to try 3 coats for minimal VPL.
I'll continue to try new colors from Zoya.

The formula and application of this polish were great as with other Zoya polishes but this color just wasn't for me. The pale purple base was fine, but the gold shimmer overlay was slightly too warm for my NC30 skin. It made my warm toned skin look a little jaundiced and just wasn't flattering at all. I like Zoya polishes and will try more colors, but this one was just a dud for me.

Love Zoya. Love their colors. Zara does not disappoint. It's a pretty lilac with gold shimmer to it. I didn't like it at first, but when it dried and I got out into natural light, I was like "wow, so pretty!" Definitely recommended.

This is one of my favorite purples! It has very pretty gold shimmer and it is a unique color. I'm pale and cool toned and it looks nice on me. I used three coats and got perfect opacity. It's a gorgeous color! I haven't had any tipwear issues with it. I use Zoya's base coat and Poshe as the top coat. It's a great light purple!

I really adore this colour! Zara is a mid-tone lilac with beautiful gold shimmer. I love that it's such a unique shade!

Application was really easy, this polish has a great consistency - not too thick, not too thin. It did take about three coats to make it completely opaque, but the colour is so gorgeous it's a small price to pay ^_^

I also love the lasting power. With a topcoat, I've had this polish on for an entire week without without a single chip. That NEVER happens!

A pretty lilac with a peachy gold shimmer --- unfortunately required 3 coats before it wasn't opaque any more. A plus to it was that with a top coat (sally hansen hard as wraps) I was able to wear it for four days without a single chip -- a very rare thing for polish for me!

This is a very unique purple, I've definitely never seen anything like it. I really like Zoya's brushes, and application went well. However, it took me 3 coats to get rid of VPL, and I found it to be quite sheer.
Overall: This color is very pretty, but not great for my skin tone. If lilac is your thing, try this unique take on purple!

Zara was my first Zoya purchase. I had heard from others that the application could be a bit tricky, but I found no fault with it.
What I did find however, was that the drying process was a bit longer than I excepted.
I have not seen a purple/lilac like this before it is a slightly sheer color with gold shimmer throughout. It was love at first sight, and it looks lovely on. I too had a stranger compliment my on my nails - which as said before, is unusual.
I think that this was a great Zoya intro, as I will be buying more.

I always get really bad shrinkage and tip wear no matter what I try with Zara. So this really puts me off.
It applies alright, nothing special, nothing bad.

This is a beautiful color of purple (I would say medium with fine shimmer in it), but the tip wear is not good and you have to put 4 colors of polish to make it opaque. The application is great and the brush is superb!!! I would not repurchase-I know I can find another color similiar to it.

This is a nice lavender color with a golden shimmer. It applied well, as do most Zoya's. The shimmer seems to come from below or inside the color, not just on the top. The best part is that a stranger complimented me on my nail polish, which is unusual.

zara is so amazing! it's a lilacy purple with a lot of bronzey gold shimmer. i'm usually not in to colors that are this light, but zara is perfect for spring and summer. zoya polishes are very high quality and of course, zara is no exception. i love love love it, one of my all-time favorite purples.

This pretty periwinkle and its golden sheen looked so awesome in the bottle but not as much on me. I'm pale and cool toned and Zara made my fingers and toes look dirty, not a good look. Maybe this would be more flattering on darker skin...but for me I just may have to swap it. Great application and removal, like I always get from Zoya though...
