This product is packaged absolutely beautifully! I would not change a thing about it! It screams luxury!
As for the product itself, I really like this! It is like a magic potion, the way it gets absorbed by the skin instantaneously, leaving it soft and glowing.
I have found this to help even out skin tone and improve over all skin texture.
For La Prairie, the cost is great! The whole marine biology range is so affordable compared to the skin caviar and other collections.
This is great for young skin!
I use a cotton pad for this, just to ensure that it is evenly spread accross my face, as it is absorbed so quickly.
I do only use it once a day (at night after toner) and it has never broken me out, as i have acne prone skin!

Can't beleive how bad this is. I bought it at the airport duty free but it was still expensive.Didn't do my research as didn't have time. This is RUBBISH. A classic example of how expensive ins't always best. Alcohol is the first listed ingredient. Be as well pouring vodka on to cotton pad. This will dry your skin out and do no end of damage. That goes for oily skins as well. Will make matters worse in the long run.Needless to say I didn't even use this up, wouldn't even give it away.

absorbs instant, you will need to pat it quickly, feel like oil rather than toner. skin feels soft and nice. but....hate the smell!! cant stand the smell of strong alcohol mixed with cheap perfume plus something else. if La prairie can improve the smell issue, it is def a 5 star!

Great, great tonic/serum, that's why I'll be buyinng it a million times. It makes my skin super soft and supple, it heals everything and does not cause any breakouts! I have been using it from 3 weeks now and everyone around have seen a huge improvement on my skin. It's brighter now and I have less breakouts than I usually used to have. I am truly recommending this magic product to everyone who wants to feel magic on her skin. It is, indeed, a little bit expensive but totally worth the money! Best tonic ever!

It is not a toner, it's like a serum mix with toner. Really strange but once apply, my face glowwww and it really brightening my skin. The effect is long term and doesnt dissappear when I wash my face in the following morning. Skin smooth and velvety. Will buy again. The only thing I hate about it is high price and heavy bottle. but worth every pound and it looks really luxury, treat my skin really well. Compare to the SKII essense which I had used for so long time, this one is really better about everything. Longer term effect and my skin just loved La prairie so much more. You can see the different fast and it won't fade.!!! love it:X

I bought day cream from La Prairie and got a sample of this tonic. I used the sample for a week and it made my skin feel good. I went ahead and bought the product then. It makes my skin look healthy and evens out my skin tone. I know it is meant to have Alcohol in it but it does not dry out my skin at all. In fact it's like a good base for moisturizer. It gives clean look to my skin. It moisturizes the skin without making it oily. I like it a lot! It is pricey but I have been using it twice day for the last month but you only use a little and the bottle is still almost full. I would buy it again but I think this bottle will last me forever! I would recommend this product but I will say maybe try out the sample first just to see how well it works for your skin type. I have combination skin and it works well for me.

This is my first review and my first La Prairie product.
At first, I was not impressed. My skin is very sensitive, pale, and dry. I have cornflaky skin around my nose, which despite my best attempts with exfoliators, peels, moisturizer would not go away. After a few days, I broke out a little around my mouth- but these break outs healed VERY quickly (just after a day or so they would appear and then disappear).
I just used this product (not the line) for a couple of weeks. I thought that if I was going to spend this much on one product- it needed to do just about everything- cleanse, moisturize, tone.
After a week, I saw a BIG difference. My skin feels soft and plump, and the cornflaky patchs on my nose have improved. Actually, after about 2 weeks of using this products, I used my cheap exfoliator to get rid of some of those patches (which I have used before w/o much success), and it worked!!
I have been using this for about a month now, and I am very happy. I have received compliments on my skin. A friend of mine, after I complained to her about the $$$ of La Prairie, told me that it was worth the cost. It improved my skin that much!
I hate that it's so $$$, but I guess you get what you pay for (usually).

I absolutely adore this toner. I usually don't use toners until I found this product. The ingredients include vitamins, natural oils and marine-derived anti-oxidants. My skin feels so refreshed and my serums and creams absorb better. I highly recommend this product! I'm a huge fan of products that use Seaweed, Algae and Wild marine plants. This tonic brightens, moisturizes and repairs skin.

Used it for more than 4 months,and I'm not a fan.Not worth the money
