I only tried this (shade number 48) because I was staying with my mother overnight and had forgotton my makeup bag. I borrowed this from hers and immedietly stole it! It is the most gorgeous dusky rose colour with a very slight silvery shimmer. I very rarely wear lighter pinks because they're so blah on my very pale, cool toned skin, but this is great, the epitome of YLBB. The formula is lovely, creamy and moisturising, and lasts for hours. It's one of those colours that stays beautiful even as it fades. This colour makes my lips look really plump and full. For an all out sexy night time look, I layer a shimmery gloss over the top. There's a generous amount of product in the bullet too, which is always a bonus. I'm going to stock up on this colour!

I don't think I'd ever bought an Almay lipstick before, but I got #04 (brick-y. warm red) and I love it! It goes on so smooth, moisturizes, and STAYS! I love it that it's got SPF, and the see-through bottom in great packaging. The color is a little bold for everyday office life, but great for going out, special occasions, whenever you want to make a statement: woman to be reckoned with. Just a wonderful lipstick...may go get another one after work now that I'm thinking about it!

I am a lipstick fanatic and after buying tons in all sorts of brands I think this formula is amazing. It is light, but moisturizing and some of the shades like the red 28 last incredibly long. The tones of the shades are winners, but the feeling of this l/s is just the best. My lips feel great after wearin it too, which I can't say for some of my very expensive ones. The red did not dry out my lips one bit, quite amazing!

Great lipsticks! They are extremely moisturizing and have some staying powers. Good deals, too and colors.

WOW! If Almay can expand the color selection and include more unusual and pearlescent shades, this will definitely replace Revlon Super Lustrous as my HG lipstick! I tried my first tube of this today based on MUA recommendations, and I just love it. (I got it for under $5 on sale at Walgreens; the packaging has a nice "snap-on" cap and looks more luxe than most drugstore brands). I chose shade #28, as I enjoy vivid, deep, clear shades and most of the other Kinetin colors were pale and/or muted. It is really the perfect reddish-berry shade for neutral-to-yellow PPP me... not a hint of orange or brown, nor sickly purple, just a true coolish vivid raspberry color that is nonetheless brightening to warmer complexions. This lippie applies super-smoothly and is very moist, yet doesn't bleed and provides a defined, opaque lip look. Not sure about any plumping effect, but my lips *do* look full and lush, not dry and cakey! Wears very, very well and evenly, and has SPF 15. Almay, you done good... now add some peppier colors!

This review is for the Lip Vitality in #68. It's a pretty pink colour (neutral leaning towards pink), on this fair skinned MUAer with golden undertones.
I LOVE that it has SPF 15, and it's an important reason as to why I bought it in the first place. But honestly, sometimes I feel that it's just an okay colour until I put on my Starlight Star Gloss over top, in which case SHAZAMM! My lips look *GORGEOUS*.
Will repurchase because I love my lips.
UPDATE: I have this in #64 as well, and I have to say that for both lippies, they're very creamy in consistency. I've been complimented on both colours & will repurchase not just bc I love my lips, but bc this is a top-notch product for a d/g price. continued >>

I love how moisturizing it was for my poor, overdried winter lizard lips! It gave such a creamy, smooth soothing texture overall that I was highly pleased because usually lip products never leave up to their claims. I have this in #72 and it shows up so beautifully on my lips. Like I said, it gives my lips a smooth finish and plumps it up reeeal nice, too. :)

I have #36 and its my all time favourite red!
Its very bold, we're talking pep-talk before you walk out the door bold, but so beautiful!
I love the way it feels on, creamy and smooth.
It does stain my lips a tiny bit, but I still love it.

This is perhaps the best red lipstick I've ever used. I have this in #28, a berry red. I've fair, neutral/slightly yellow skin and this just suits me perfectly. Not too dark (vampy), not too light, and not orange-ish. Also seems to make my teeth look a little whiter. The texture is really smooth. Gives a creamy, smooth finish that lasts quite well. Wonderful lipstick!
I also have this in #68, which is a lovely pink/mauve color. It is the perfect complement to Benefit's Dandelion. I'll definitely repurchase these.

So far so good, I bought this in #64; a gorgeous pinky bronze color that seems to glide on without being too sticky or oily. Other reviewers have raved about this product lasting long. I also love the idea of the skin, lip loving ingredients with the Kinetin content. It is only the first day of wearing, but will be sure and update soon. So far sooo good.

I purchased #28 as part of a package deal at Target (it came with a lipliner in Wines). As described below, it is a pigment-rich red-berry that is quite stunning against my PPP complexion. Definitely not an everyday color (for me anyway) but one that I enjoy wearing now and then. I totally agree with the reviewer who said that the formula "clings" to your lips. I hate it when I wear a red or otherwise dramatic lipstick and it seems to be sitting on top of my lips -- more like the lipstick is wearing me than vice versa. Lip Vitality does seem to cling, almost soak into your lips a little bit, giving a more polished overall look. I'm sure that the relative matteness of this shade helps too. I find it wears very well throughout the day and keeps my lips fairly moisturized considering the texture. Really does make my lips look smooth though!

My absolute favourite ace in the hole lipstick. I have #20 (Brownish, golden) and #28 which is a very red-berry colour. Am always asked "what kind of lipstick are you wearing? It never seems to come off!"
I use #28 as a base coat since the colour is so rich. The best part is, this colour truly clings to your lips and makes them look plump and luscious!
So apply #28 with deft strokes, then blot with tissue so there's pigment left, line lips with complimentary colour and layer other lighter "mauvy" colours overtop. Looks wonderful! Oh, this product applies incredibly well with lip brush. Can't stop raving.

I tried this color in #40, and YUK! It's a very Orangy-pink. I like frosty pink lipsticks, but I hate it when they have any kind of an orangy-ness to them. This one definately does.

I love the see-thru bottom where you can see the actual color. Lipstick is very creamy. I have this in #22, a frosty medium mauve-pink shade that came with lipliner, but it's too frosty for me.

A really nice lipstick which seems to knock off Estee Lauder's Pure Color Lipstick packaging. The lipstick inside reminds me a bit of a (less heavy and glossy) Futurist EL lipstick, however, as there is no fragrance and it has SPF (although this is actually better w/ complete UVA + UVB protection). They have some gorgeous colors and I was able to stock up with some rebate offers and sales on this product when it first came out. I'm not disappointed by any of the colors I got, nor the texture. It isn't all that long lasting (a bit too moist for that), so you will have to reapply often, but really nice regardless. Caveat: after some use, my Almay Kinetin lipsticks have all basically fallen apart into a smushy mess in the tube. Apparently, doesn't keep its shape. So enjoy it while it lasts, then try using a lipbrush to apply if the stick gets deformed.

I have this in #1 and #20, and I really like both of them. I put these shades in my lipstick palette because I find they apply better with a brush. Very smooth, even, and luminescent, and great overall quality for drugstore lipsticks. Or for any lipstick, for that matter. They mix wonderfully with other lipsticks, too, since they're so creamy and buildable.

This is my favorite lipstick ever! I love the texture, colors, staying power, and price. This doesn't even mention the SPF! There is no noticeable fragrance or taste, and that is really important to me. Also, ULTA will offer a "buy 1 get 1 free" quite frequently, making this an absolute "must try" if you're in the market for a new lipstick.

I think this lipstick is just a terrific value and recommend it highly. Great product -- if you have a coupon or get it on sale (RiteAid) it's dirt cheap. No taste, no smell, but limited colors -- lots of pinks and brown-reds/brown-pinks, bought #s 4, 20 + 64. They stay on pretty well (the secret for me is to apply a couple of very thin coats -- thick coats can get gunky) and wear off softly and evenly (no tammy faye ring around the mouth). I wear this lipstick when I'm riding my horse, and it stays on thru sweat and sun. Love it! (Note to Almay -- you need a better red -- the only one is too blue)

Great lipsticks, I really like it and plan on buying more. Great idea to put kinetin in it, so that I feel my lips will get that extra boost of anti-aging! I try the kinetin face cream, and already have great results, so the lipstick is a plus! It is protective, great colors, and non drying, a bit of moisture, but not too much so that it won't slide off. Stays on awhile. Love it! I'm in love with their whole kinetin line so far. Update: This LIPSTICK REALLY SETTLES INTO YOUR FINE LINES OF YOUR LIPS MAKING YOU LOOK OLDER, SOMEHOW, SO A LIPGLOSS IS NEEDED TO HELP COUNTERACT THAT.
