I am loving this moisturizer. It has a silky feel, and absorbs right into my skin without being too oily. I have dry/combination/sensitive skin, and this moisturizer is fantastic. In addition, it has natural/organic ingredients, and gets fantastic scores on Good Guide and the EWG SkinDeep database. It's a good price point for the product quality, and I love that Aubrey Organics has been in the natural skincare products business for a long time. It has a funky, cool orange color which was surprising, but I really like it. I think this will be my new HG!

really really wanted to love this but it made me break out and clogged my pores. I think the coconut fatty acids are to blame....coconut oil is comedogenic. Products with essential oils just don't work for me. :(

This moisturizer was good, at first. I just could NOT take the smell or the clumps. IMO, it was way too strong and lingered for quite a while. It didn't dry out my skin and it seemed to balance everything out for the first couple of days. It was a little hard to spread (even after shaking) and left little product "crunchies" that I had to wipe off. You have to be careful not to use too much or it can leave you greasy. This product is good for those who prefer a thicker moisturizer and don't mind stronger scents.

I use this every day and absolutely love the light texture and clean scent. It doesn't break out my skin and is made with the same quality organic ingredients as other overpriced skincare lines. Last a long time and has a wonderfully fluffy but light golden slightly sparkly texture. I just love this!
My only small problem is that sometimes this doesn't blend well with other makeups that have a lot of petrochems or parabens in them. It really is so light and pure that it doesn't seem to bond well with heavier makeups.

I bought this on a whim after testing it a bit at Whole Foods. I have been using it for a week and adore it so far. It have finicky skin that is a bit sensitive, acne-prone, and can get dehydrated. This cream has a creamy texture at first until you apply it; sinks in very quickly. It has a luminous golden color to it that gives skin a subtle glow. My skin seems to be smoother and calmed with this, plus it works great under foundation.

Big fan of the Ester C Antioxidant Serum. I love how it warms my face and adds a healthy glow. I gave it 4 lippies as I'm not a fan of the size, wish there was more in it. I go through a tube per month! And at 20 some odd dollars a pop, that's a bit pricey. Also I have to make sure I really work it into my skin, as the Vitamin C color can leave that 'glow' looking off if I don't really work it in.
However, when I've tried other serums (Burt's Bees, Olay, Meaningful Beauty, Body Shop, etc) they've not come close to Aubrey's.
So Aubrey's it is!

My skin is very sensitive and pimply and blemished, so I tried this on recommendation. While it did moisturize well, after a couple hours it felt very greasy. After several weeks my skin darted to react badly to it, maybe the buckthorn is too harsh for me. I had to stop using it. I switched to Aubrey's rosa mosqueta moisturizer, and that has worked perfectly and cleared up my skin.

This is my HG facial moisturizer. It's something I've been looking for years after switching to all natural skin care to avoid those toxic petroleum based junk. My skin is VERY rough, dry, and redness that people often confuse for a tan. I honestly don't know why but my skin produces so much hardened sebum that even with extractions, the next day, they get gunked up. It's on my nose, cheekbones, forehead, chin, jawline, and sides of my neck. I need to exfoliate every single day.
This moisturizer is very soothing. Part of my skin care routine is the use of a glycolic acid cream from Reviva Labs (5%). One day, I used it after doing extractions and my face was burning! I spread the moisturizer on top and all burn subsided. It's due to the aloe, evening primrose oil, cucumber extract and oil, and sea buckthorn oil this product has. My face is a little less red when using it. It's also excellent that it contains ester-c because I try to avoid using sunscreens and by using something with antioxidant power can help my skin protect itself from the sun from using the glycolic acid cream.
It leaves my skin baby soft, very hydrated, and gives a nice healthy glow knowing I put something good on my skin. The price is kind of high for me, but if it's worth it, I'll keep buying it.

First off, I am very generous with giving good ratings to Aubrey on account of their high quality natural ingredients and lack of chemicals.
I have been using a few Sea Buckthorn products lately, mainly from Aubrey and Weleda. I have noticed that all these products have the trademark orange color of the seaweed that results from its high concentration of Vitamin A. In some of the more concentrated products, this can cause minor temporary darkening of the skin that looks like a mild suntan I purposely use the Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Oil in the summer to get this effect. Also, Sea Buckthorn seems to have a mattifying effect. All the products I have tried have a chalky feel of varying degree after about 10 minutes. I remedy this by topping any SB product with the SB Serum by Aubrey, which is an oil.
The scent if this product is natural and slightly marine, but not at all bothersome upon application. Although Ester C is the most stable form of topical Vitamin C, as it sits on the skin it does oxidize and the scent becomes slightly metallic and a bit noticeable. This occurs will all Vit C products, so I always recommend using them at night. (UPDATE: my new bottle does not have this issue. Must have been an old bottle that I rec'd in swap)
The main ingredient is a base of Coconut Fatty Acids, which is very protective and nourishing to the skin, as are the lesser ingredients of Shea Butter and Rose Mosqueta Oil. Aloe, lavender, and cucumber are anti-inflammatory. This is a rich lotion, ideal for use in cold or arid climates, or on dry skin. I use it around my eyes with no irritation.
I cannot make any claims as to the long term effects, as I use so many facial products it is hard to say which is contributing to my results.
update: just bought another bottle for the winter. At this price, I am using it on my hands, arms, and chest, as well.

Pros: Absorbs into the skin. Moisturizers great. Looks good under foundation. Bought because it doesn't contain glycerin!!
Cons: Is an organgey color, which I'm scared will oxidize on my skin any moment, Scent is carroty/pumpkiny, might be causing me small red bumps, however I'll have to double check at a later time.
EDIT: This moisturizer did NOT cause a reaction, however I've switched to the rose moisturizer for dry skin because I think I'm more dry then combo.
Still an okay product though.

Ive been using this product for just over a week and it is just early December so I will need to update my review in the future, but my initial use of it is very positive.
Before this I used plain grapeseed oil at night and Neutrogena 55 sunscreen during the day. Now that the air has gotten drier, and I ran out of grapeseed, I needed to move to another product and that new product was making me break out. I switched to this last week and the acne is going away and my face is nicely moisturized (although I still use the sunscreen on my forehead which helps minimize shine later in the day) and I think it has added a little sumpin-sumpin nice to my complexion.

This lotion is wonderful. It absorbs quickly into your skin, smells great, feels fantastic. My skin looks incredible...soft, moisturized...love it! And I use sunscreen on top in the daytime, which is no problem at all. They seem to blend just fine...

Was looking for an anti-aging nightime moisturizer that is more natural and ranked as a lower hazard on EWG than the Olay product I was using - came across this. Unfortunately, it did not agree w/ my skin - was not nearly moisturizing enough for me and broke me out. The yellow color is startling at first, but it absorbs quite nicely into skin w/ no color left behind. Finally, the smell was strong and, IMO, not a pleasant one. :( I really wanted to like this - o well. Now, its up for swap.
