Nope, this just didn't work for me. It's actually a very pretty color. I won't deny that. It's like a more pink version of freckletone. The problem is that it has that strange gray undertone which is so not flattering on my NW 50 skin. I had the same problem with pervette lipstick - that ashy look. I guess this is too pale for dark-skinned ladies. I can see it working perfectly fine on fairer skin tones.
Beautiful lipstick, but just not my color. I'm swapping this.
Never even heard of QP until I discovered it in the CCO, but glad I picked it up because it is my new fav. I usually wear High Tea and they are VERY similar. I prefer the Lustre lipsticks because they are slicker than others to me. IMO QP is pinker than HT, which is more beige. Either way, I love them both.

This is a pretty color but it just has to much sparkle for me. I don't think I'll buy it again because of that.
So it has been released again as part of the "cham pale" collection. I was looking for a nude lipstick for work that would bring out the natural colour of my lips without being too shimmery but I'm a bit dissappointed.
Using the lipstick on its own there is very little colour payoff and I think the Lustre can be a bit much for wearing to work. It is a beautiful colour in the tube but is a touch too sheer with a touch too much lustre.
The saving grace was I tried it on top of macs subculture nude lipliner and achieved my desired effect :)
I would not repurchase because there are so many nude lipsticks available that I would probably find the perfect coulou if I keep looking rather than settling for second best.
It's very VERY sheer, nearly a glaze, but not as buildable as glazes / lusters normally are. That said, it's extremely wearable--a bit of sheen and gold-beige tint. It's really very lovely on, easily compliments any skintone / color combo.
I really like this lipstick. i recently picked it up from CCO and i like the shimmery pink/look of it. Great for pairing with a neutral look or toning down a smokey look. The consistency of mine is slightly grainy compared to some other MAC lipsticks but lustres can be like that. Overall, i am happy with the product.
Quiet Please was part of the BBR collection and I can't say I'm entirely thrilled with this one :(
In the tube it looks like perfection for this nude lip junkie, however as with all lustres, pigmentation can either be fairly decent or completely inadequate, this one falls in between. This is a light opalescent beige with light/soft pink shimmer, however this is too sheer for my preferences, if this had better color payoff it would've been a dream come true! I'm sure I'll finish the tube I have, but this isn't one I'd be itching to repurchase even if it wasn't LE. continued >>
Ok so I got this color at my local CCO. Not too impressed with it. It's a lustre but has shimmer to it. I'm a cute neutral but with a hint of pink and shimmer. I won't get this color again.
this lippie is a part of the Red She Said collec. in 2008.
COLOR: Sheer shimmery beige.. maybe with a tad hint of pink. it's good if you want a nude lippie. It can tone down the pigmentation of your lips.
TEXTURE: Lustre.. smooth & average staying power.
PACKAGING: in a bullet tube
DUPES: it's so similar to MAC High Tea.. so it's not a must have & no need to buy backups. Quiet,Please is also a cousin of MAC Vanity's Child (Electroflash collec). the colors are similar but Quiet, Please is more wearable than Vanity's Child.
would i buy this again? NO. because it's not my fave nude lippie.
