I am constantly on the lookout for sunblocks which I can layer on my face under a powder foundation. The key things I look out for: light texture, matte finish, no sticky feeling or shiny greasy look. I tried a sample of this and it failed on almost all counts! While it seems that this block is touted as being suitable for use under makeup, the light watery lotion did not dry down into a powder finish and I was left with a greasy look and slick feel, which made it hard for my powder foundation to be applied smoothly on top. Given the alternatives out there with better textures such as Biore and Sunkiller, I doubt I would repurchase this.

Its fairly light in texture, like Anessa from Shiseido and Sunplay sunscreens. When I applied it, it looks pretty reflective on my face, making my face look oily. That's why I only use it when I'm applying foundation so the foundation can cover the reflective effect. Also, it does leave a white residue, when the label claims it doesn't. Its pretty sticky too. The only pro of this product is the fact that its manufacture in Japan. Will not be repurchasing. I like the white and slightly shiny bottle in came in though, looks nicer than most of the other sunscreens I've bought. Update: I'm talking 1 lippie off to give it just 1 lippie. After not using for some weeks, I decided to try this product again, but the texture seems to have thickened, not sure if the product's spoilt, but probably not since its quite newly opened. Also, I wore it for a full day and a big oil slick look back at me when I looked in the mirror when I got home. It was terrible to say the least.
