Wow have only just stumbled on this site and had to add my thoughts. Have been using Zelens for 3 years now and even my husband steals it. Yes it is very pricey. Here in Australia it is $245 but it is the best eye cream I have ever used. My dark circles disappeared and fine lines too. It doesnt happen straight away but after 1 pot I was hooked. Haven't found anything to compare although Clinique All about Eyes comes close!

I was so excited to try this product. There was so much hype in the media about this eye cream. I should have ignored all those paid reviews and checked the MUA reviews first. The packaging for the product is gorgeous. It comes in these great boxes that feel like you are getting jewelry. The actual cream is more like a gel that looks like applesauce. The fragrance is very mild and I had no problem with it. I used it mostly at night as it did not absorb well and felt greasy. It is extremely expensive ($160 USD). None of that would have mattered if I had good results. But, after using the product for three weeks I actually noticed that my dark circles were getting worse! Not only that, I had more noticeable wrinkles under my eyes then before I started using it. At first I thought it was my imagination and I even tried to use it in combination with my Clinic, all about eyes, but it was not my imagination. My eyes look about 5 years older then when I first started using this cream. This did not work for me and I would not recommend it to anyone. I am going back to my Le Mer, Eye Concentrate for night and Clinic, All About Eyes Rich, for the day. I will not re-purchase the product.

Nice product but the price... $160 USD is insane. No competition to La Mer. It applies clear to the skin which is nice. But not the magic potion it should be!

I tried a few samples of this cream and that was enough for me. The texture is amazing, it's loaded with silicones which is why is feels so nice. Unfortuately, a few hours later, the effects wear off and I'm left with dehydration under the eyes which made my fine lines look worse. No puffiness reduction either. It's a shame as the cream has a good concept behind it, but the formulation is missing something. The packaging should be a pump dispenser to preserve all the actives, something Dr. Lens should know! I would not purchase this cream.

I've been using samples of this product for a couple weeks, and I have to disagree with the other reviews. I think this is a really good eye cream. It sinks in well for me, it really improves the appearance of the eye area (immediately) and it keeps me moisturised all day. Yes, the texture is a little different -- almost like a less tacky vaseline -- but it still sinks in well, so it's deceiving. On the downside, I do think this is too expensive and would be better in a pump or tube. All in all, very nice though.

LIke the 2 previous reviewers, this eye cream has lead me make to an old HG. In my case - EL's Ultimate Lifting Eye Cream. I bought 2 duty free at LAX on the way home to Sydney. This product cost me $230 AUD.
Pros:
- very moisturizing
- absorbs well
- I have not found it irritating at all
Cons:
- ridiculously expensive, my Kiehl's cream delivers a similar result for alot less.
- I don't think it sinks in as well as other eye creams at half the price, so not optimal for day wear

For now, I'm hooked. I love the texture and the smell and it appears to be keeping my eyes in great shape. I don't have many fine lines, wrinkles or dark circles (only when really tired) and this seems to keep them at bay. I'm using this now for 3 weeks so the jury is still out - but it's holding it's own versus my old La Mer Eye Concentrate.
What I also love about this cream - it doesn't cause eye makeup to travel and give me a case of racoon eye. This is a real problem with a lot of hydrating eye creams out there.
I'll update two months in but as it now stands, I love it. The packaging - by the way - it just gorgeous. The price...very expensive. Therefore only 4 lippies.
EDIT: Was 4 lippies, 4 months later I'm downgrading it to 2 and will not be buying this again. I'm only being generous because it does go on nice and smooth, has a great texture and smell and comes in beautiful packaging. However, for the 1st time in my life I noticed WRINKLES around my eyes. It's supposed to prevent them. My skin has also become dehydrated. All in all - it starts out beautifully and ends with my realizing I spent a fortune on something that is not worth it. I'm back to La Mer's Eye Concentrate.
