I am really moderate about this product. The texture and pigment are amazing, but it settles into every crack or dry spot on my lips. I started looking for a colour dupe for Illamasqua's Obey and Brink lipsticks because I can't get them where I live. The shade of this lipstick resembles that of Brink, but this is not my HG shade. I'm currently a NC35 in MAC foundation, and this shade suits me well.

I have mixed feelings about this lipstick. The colour is beautiful and extremely pigmented. It is amazing when you put it on, I usually kiss a tissue so the colour is not too extreme. However after a while my lips start to crack and every crack and line is visible. When I do not use this lipstick I never have any problem with cracked lips.

One of the best lipsticks I've ever used in terms of color pay-off, comfort and formula. One swipe is really all you need to get the color pay-off and opacity. It covers my pigmented lips quite well with a smooth, buttery-soft color. It's also one of a very few lipsticks that feel moisturizing on the lips and never leaves it dry. Peach Passion can look a bit bright on my tanned skin and pigmented lips if applied with a heavy hand. I usually just dab it on lightly and it gives my lips a brightened effect without looking ridiculous and garish. I took off a lippie because lasting power is just average: about 4 hrs on me. I also feel I'm paying more for the packaging than the actual lip product itself but the package is absolutely gorgeous.

YSL produces the best high end lipsticks!!! So creamy, so pigmented. You would not believe lipsticks can be so comfortable to wear until you try YSL lipsticks. highly highly recommend if you have big budget to buy nice lipsticks.

Great product. I have lots of high end lipsticks but this one really stands out because I can't think of any drugstore brand that makes lipsticks quite as creamy, pigmented and smooth. The staying power is perhaps a bit disappointing (two hours) but the effect of it is just..wow! It's matte, very creamy (I don't use a balm underneath, it's moisturizing enough by itself) and really really bold. This particular color is amazing as well, it's a vibrant peach color that looks amazing on more tanned skin (I am still very fair though). The packaging itself is stunning as well. Will definitely purchase more colors next time I'm in Italy (it cost around 25€ in their Sephora, a lot less than here). Most times high end lipsticks aren't that much better than drustore ones but trust me, this one is.

I was really hesitant to buy this because of the price but I decided to splurge and I am SO pleased!! It's incredibly pigmented, creamy, and long lasting. I usually buy drugstore lipsticks and I can tell a huge difference between using one of those and using this lipstick! It's the exact color I've been on the hunt for. I'm an NC20 and it looks great with my skin tone. I don't find this to be drying...but I use a lip balm underneath it (this always seems to help with the longevity of any lipstick I use and helps to keep my lips moisturized).
Overall I am incredibly please with this lipstick and I think it's worth every penny

I REALLY wanted to like this product, it's a beautiful shade of peach and very pigmented. However, I'm not sure if it's just me, but the formula seems to settle into the cracks on my lips making them look super dry. Not only that, it made my lips peel very badly so much so that when I wiped the lipstick off a good chunk of the top layer of my lips went with it. Now my lips are stinging and this can't be good. If your lips don't react to the formula and it glides on smoothly for you, this is a beautiful color and I do love the packaging.

I love this color, I also love the packaging. It goes on creamy like said. It's quite pricey, but what do you expect from YSL. All in all this product had potential to become one of my new favourite lipsticks.
But... the first time I put it on it showed every crack in my lips. Every line, every imperfection. So i thought I just had very dry lips. I gave myself a lip treatment, but the cracks still showed, even after applying lipbalm. I've never had this problem with any other lipsticks (by other brands). Though I'm not sure if it's the color, because I haven't tried another one yet.
I do wear this lipstick with a gloss over it, but I cannot wear it on its own. That and the price (which it would be worth if it didn't make my lips look like the Grand Canyon) prevent me from buying this product again.

Rouge Volupte in Peach Passion is a mixture of dusty pink and a hint of peach. However, this lip color is definitely not what I'd call a true "peachy" color. There is not enough orange tone to it to give off that peach shade. The quality is great yet a bit drying so make sure to use a lip balm before applying. The substance smells like a true YSL "fruity" scent which I'm not really fond of. Mac's vanilla scent is my favorite out of all the lipstick smells. Otherwise, this is a GORGEOUS lipstick to own, just not peachy enough in my view.

There is very little " peach"in this color. As with most YSL lipsticks, the color is slightly off. I really wanted to like this! But this is opaque and neon on my lips. It does brighten my face, but the color is too cartoonish. Maybe this would look better on someone else, but on my olive skin and latina features, it is just wrong.

On my NC44, heavily pigmented (blueish toned) lips, this gives, if used lightly, a very nice flush to the lips. The pinky part of the coral adds just that bit of dimension needed to really make my lips look good, but not too garishly orangey like Faubourg did. Take heed to put this one on lightly, the white undertone can make this one look very neon, but if dotted on the skin-looks fabulous! I love the feeling of this lippy, and the flavor/smell. This is a definate staple in my overloaded makeup arsenal!

Put in simple terms, I really like this lipstick. The color is a balance of peach and pink, with an opaque, smooth finish. I feel that it's a vibrant/vivid color, but not garish (in my opinion). I also think that this could serve as a decent dupe of Lancome Chris & Tell lipstick for those, such as myself, that weren't able to get their hands on one during its limited release. NC10-15 for reference. continued >>

I adore the colour of this lipstick. It's a vibrant pinky peach coral colour that just brightens up my entire face. Not to mention, it makes my teeth look extremely white! The texture is very creamy, and it applies like a dream. I have to make sure my lips are exfoliated though otherwise it can show little flakes. I don't find that this drys out my lips, definately not as much as other lipsticks I own do anyway. The packaging is very glamorous, I love pulling it out of my makeup bag. However, the price is just ridiculous. I hate paying for just the brand name instead of the actual product itself...but I honestly think I might possibly repurchase this if I have some extra cash.

I love this product and the packaging, and the color is unique, but you need to wear lip balm under this lipstick because it will be drying. It applied a little bit streaky the first time I tried it on, but it's a lot better and creamier now. The packaging is beautiful, there is a mirror on the top surface of the cap too. I would buy this again if I ran out of it, but I probably won't need to since there is a lot of product and you only need to use it sparingly.

I am so in love with this color. I became obsessed with it since watching ekimura use it in her Japanese Gyaru doll eye tutorial on youtube.
The smell is gorgeous, like watermelon, you just want to sniff it all day. I don't layer it on thickly, instead I swipe the bottom lip once with the product then rub my lips together and I find this is enough. I'm not too keen on the heavy look.

for that price I would expect something better, too creamy and heavy on the lips, does not moisture my lips and brings out dry patches on lips..
update..
I now moisturize my lips before I apply that and wow, what a difference! like it very much now.

The MOST pigmented l/s I own. Nice, bright peachy-coral-pink color. It's very opaque, so I NEVER use it applied full strength or straight from the tube. A little goes a long way. It smells fantastic and of course the packaging is ridiculously pretty. This stays put pretty well on my lips, but can be a bit drying, so moisturizing beforehand is a must. Looks best with smokey eye looks or summery looks. Expensive, but since a little goes such a long way, I won't need to repurchase for a long, long time.

wow -- I bought this the last time I had red hair and did not review it.
it is a perfect peach -- smooth and soft. It looks best with a taupey liner and some balm under it. I think this color should work with most skins from 0 level to 2.5-3 ... after that, I think it might be too light.
The whole Volupte line is fantastic -- I have a few and will need to review all of them.

First off - £21 for a l/s is heartbreaking. Seriously heartbreaking. And although I like this l/s quite a bit, it's not worth the money at all.

Anyway! On my NC42-44 skin this looks like a peachy corally pink. It looks similar to the colour on the girls' lips in the 2nd picture shown above - NOTHING like the colour on Temptalia's lips! I have to wear a lipbalm under this otherwise it'll make my lips look flaky and dry...even though this is supposed to be a moisturizing l/s. Lasting power sucks...it probably lasts for 5-10 mins then it's gone.
