Absolutely my favorite scent on Earth. It's definitely woodsy, but with a warmth that I've never personally experienced in a fragrance before. It's a perfectly smooth scent, with no edges, like a very old, polished, well-worn mahogany table or something... There's something a bit spicy, the tiniest bit sweet (although not in a gourmand way at all) and definitely sexy. I wish they made this as a personal fragrance, I'd wear it all the time.

This Burl Wood candle has great throw, as do all of the other Archipelao Botanicals scents. Burl Wood is a great woodsy/sexy scent. The description says:

Burl Wood evokes deep woods in autumn with its notes of cedar, black spruce, and teak. Outdoorsy and aromatic.

It is great for fall/winter and it also comes in a diffuser...which I have not tried yet.

Box is adorable and would be great to give as a gift! Small votive sells for about $10. Large is about $24.
