I've been using this brand for over 10 years and I wouldn't switch now. I like that this doesn't have fluoride nor baking soda. The clay acts as a gentle polishing agent to remove plaque. This is great for cleaning your teeth. If you want to whiten/bleach, use something else.

It's a funny brown color that's slightly off-putting at first, but one gets used to it quickly. I enjoy the light flavor, which is an herbally mix of mint, tea and licorice--not too biting, nor too sweet. My teeth feel fresh and clean enough after I use this toothpaste, but I notice that they don't stay feeling clean throughout the day (like when I use a standard, flouride toothpaste). And this is definitely not a stain-removing or whitening toothpaste. I probably won't repurchase.

What a delight to use this toothpaste. Do you like the white Necco candies? Not the peppermint white, but the other white flavor. Well, that is what this tastes like. Wonderful. I think the flavor is fennel. States Mint-Free, but this flavor is refreshing in the same way mint is. Got a couple of samples at Super Supplements and plan to go back for the full size.
