It smoothed my skin but my face was oily after few hours. But that's so with all the primers i've used so far. It seems to me nothing really helps controlling the oil but they can make your skin looking better. Less visible pores etc. Basically this was an okay primer but i really hated the slick, siliconey feeling it left. Won't be repurchasing.

This product for me was okay, it went on smooth and made my skin feel great, though sometimes when id put it on with my fingers itd clump into little pieces on my skin which i hated. I was oily afetr a few hours but i guess thats just my skin. This is a great primer if youre on a budget.

This is one of my favourite products! Use it everyday seriously think I'm addicted! Such a good quality primer makes my skin like velvet and my make up glides on.

I bought the cream version of this primer about a week ago after having run out of another drugstore primer that I had bought, the L'Oreal Lumi primer. I bought this primer because the texture felt somewhat similar to that of my favourite primer, Smashbox Photofinish Light but had hydrating properties and was about half the price. I bought this at Shoppers Drug Mart for $25+ tax and have used it every day since I have worn it. I really like that with this primer I can tell a noticeable difference to the amount of time my foundation lasts- it definitely gives me an extra few hours of flawless wear. I also really like that primer comes in a bottle as opposed to a jar because I find that you use less that way. I'm not really a huge fan of the primer though because it is very thick, heavy and hard to blend and it smells really weird. The first thing I though of when I went to put this primer on my face was walnuts- it smells identical to the smell of walnuts. I don't dislike walnuts but I do not want to be rubbing that heavy smell on my face at all. Luckily it does disappear shortly after you apply it but it is still very nasty in my opinion. Maybe its the shea butter in it but I'm not sure. As well this primer is not hydrating really. It doesn't dry out or accentuate dryness but it certainly does nothing good for it either. I will not be repurchasing. Maybe this would be a better product for someone with normal to combination skin.
Edit: I stopped using this primer for a bit and then started using it again and cystic acne appeared on my face. Time to toss it! Would not recommend.
Not really impressed with it. This product went on nicely and didn't make me break out at all, but also didn't do much for covering pores. Its ok, but I probably won't be buying it again.
I've had this primer for a while now, and it continues to underwhelm me. It's not that the product is bad in any sense of the word, it's just.... meh. So-so. Boring. Not up to my groove at all.
I picked this up when I moved temporarily to someplace with no proper make up shops, and was in a pinch to replace my bone-dry empty bottle of previous primer. I got it at a drugstore makeup aisle at the last minute for a party, and I liked it well enough for that night. My make up did not come running off in a river of a hot and unprimed May evening, which suited my needs at the time. It wasn't spectacular, but it did its job. This primer is soft to the touch, but a little thick for my tastes. It's white in the bottle, but rubs in clear enough. I'm not a huge fan of the smell, but that's something totally subjective to me.
If find if I'm using this primer on my skin for any extended period of time (like, 3 days in a row or more), I'll start to break out, which is a total shame. This is the primary reason this primer's been sitting lonely in my cabinet for the past few months.
(Surprisingly enough, after pushing it aside once I restocked my old primer and for its mediocrity on my skin, I've actually come to use GOSH as an impromptu lip primer. Where I found it too thick on my skin, it's actually pretty nice on my lips and helps a few stubborn lipsticks I have stay on a bit longer. Mind you, this is super unorthodox, but it's one way I've found to use all this leftover product which I have no intention of using again for its intended purposes.)
When it comes down to it, GOSH makes a decent enough primer in a pinch. Not great, but not bad either. But you can probably do much better. I wouldn't get it again.
I just bought this primer last week after running out of my no.7 Stay Perfect primer, and I absolutely love it. It has a really nice matte finish and holds my makeup all day! My foundation blended effortlessly over it and I would definitely repurchase it!
I liked the feel of this primer it went on ok but when I would try and put my foundation overtop in some spots like my chin and forhead it would clump. I found I had to "warm up" with product in my hand and it worked much better. The staying power was nice and it didn't dry out my skin. I don't like the price I paid there are much nicer products out there in that price range and it is a bit difficult to work with.
This was my first foundation primer and I only got it because I had just been paid so I was looking to buy something new. This is a great primer, I will definitely be buying it again when it runs out! It doesn't smell, it doesn't leave my skin oily and it makes my skin really soft and poreless. I have been using it for maybe one or two months and I haven't had any breakouts, although I know from other review's that some people have done. I got it for about £10 which isn't really expensive but it's not cheap, however it is great, and lasts for ages because it comes with a pump and one pump of the product is really more than enough for me.
