My favorite foundation! Dewy but not overly so, moisturizing and makes my skin look healthy. Price is outrageous though!

Ever since I used the Trish McEvoy line I have had nothing but problems. Between the moisturizer and liqiud makeup my face is a mess and I am now going to the dermatologist to get it fixed. I say beware.

I bought this foundation yesterday because I needed a professionally done makeup for my passport. My skin looked amazing at the moment and even in the picture but I noticed dehydration hours later, but since I bought I I went ahead and used it again on my skin today, today I used it with the TRISH HYALURONIC BOOSTER, then I used the dermalogica pure light spf 30 ( which tends to dry my skin but I feel protected from the sun), I spread the foundation which was easy then I applied the the TRISH LINE REFINER under my eyes since I get so dry in the eye area, ( usually I use AQUAPHOR under my eyes, but since I was afraid of damage the foundation I used the TRISH LINE REFINER for no mess at all costs...
Bottom line: My combination skin was dry all day, my under eye area ( wich I didn't use concealer, since I am afraid to get even more dry under my eyes and I don't need too much concealer in the first place).
TRISH HYALURONIC BOOSTER, horrible
TRISH LINE REFINER, good but need to be reapplied in my case
TRISH beta hydroxy PADs, bad
TRISH CLEANSER LOTION, horrible
TRISH TREATMENT FOUNDATION, okay to bad
TRISH MASCARA, bad, too natural and no dramatic eyes
I didn't use any powder but a little kanebo cinnamon blush/bronzer.
I bought $670.00 and returned all today, I don't know if I did good returning the TRISH LINE REFINER, but I am testing CLE DE PEAU FLUID FOUNDATION tomorrow and I will see if my skin under my eyes get dry.
GOOD LUCK

I got this in the lightest shade which looked very yellow. Im was not happy spending $75 on a foundation, when the SA rang me up I almost dropped. I like a dewy finish and this foundation gave me a nice glowy coverage..........except I did notice it kind of sat on my skin and I looked cakey and I have never had that kind of a problem with most foundations it was a matter of liking them or not. I have been using EL's Lucidity for 8 yrs or so and its my HG foundation. Im only giving this 2 lippies for the glow effect thats it. I wouldn't mind spending the $75 for something that looked flawless and glowy, this foundation does not live up to my expectations at all.

This is a lousy product. It is streaky, does not provide good coverage and it sits on top of the skin. It is also VERY expensive. Total waste. Do not buy.

My skin had an awful cystic acne reaction to this combined with the loose mineral powder. In fact, when I felt my face itching before I left the store -- I should have known better. I was attracted to it because of the supposed "soothing" ingredients and learning that Trisha's husband is a dermatologist. This foundation is highly pigmented so a little will go a long way. But, it kinda sits on top of any skin imperfections making them even more noticeable and disappears as the day goes on. This will probably work for someone looking to cover rosacea, etc but for us acne-prone, old acne scar girls...this foundation isn't a good pick.

I tried this one due to it's high ratings. I saw a sample on
ebay for a reasonable price 11.99 or so I thought. When
the item arrive it was well tiny--may 1/2" or less.
When you open it has a flat plastic applicator. So I swipe it on and here's the beauty: it covers well and just a tiny bit goes a long way. It lasts long and looks great: not cakey, or too sheer (so-so coverage): natural with coverage.
This is thus far the best foundation I've tried. The price is deceptive because a little goes a very long way, that is, that little bottle will last as long as other brand's regular sized bottles for the same price.

To me, this doesn't seem like a standard foundation, but rather a tad step up from a tinted moisturizer. It glides on my skin beautifully and absorbs and blends like a dream. No fuss like with other foundations from other brands I've used. I didn't want to try this because I thought it would just be a regular foundation ultimately giving me an unnatural and mask-like look, but after I put some on after getting a sample I was immediately hooked. My skin looked so even toned and flawless yet at the same time very natural like I wasn't wearing anything at all. I also love that it has antioxidants to help with anti-aging and even green tea to help in calming the skin. I've noticed that my complexion is looking a lot better with each use, which is the opposite of what happens when I use a liquid foundation everyday. Just make sure to just use a pea size amount and use your fingers to blend if you want a natural look. I went to a Trish McEvoy event and the MA put so much on me with a foundation brush that I looked absolutely horrible. I still haven't bought a full bottle as I believe it's way too expensive, so I've been lucky to acquire a few deluxe samples that will hold me over for a while. If you want a fabulous product that will give you the "your skin but better" look you definitely need to try this. Just make sure to get a sample first.

I must be INSANE. I spent $70 on a bottle of foundation!
::sigh::
This product came highly recommended from a MUAer. I strutted into Nordstrom's and the Trish SA immediately recommended the even skin but I told him I wanted to try this one and perhaps use it when I need more coverage. His rec was Sunny Beige. It was a VAST difference in this and the Shade 5 of the even skin. I gulped as they SA applied it and I sat still. I looked in the mirror when he finished and I noted how great it looked.
It's a bit heavier than I like but I like for days when I have a pimple or just didn't get the required rest or water intake. I tend to stick to this one for night/evening wear. I love the coverage. I love the color.
I like that it is cream enough to not just sit on my face like a mask but it doesn't seep into my pores.
I like the packaging but I still can't believe that I spent over $130 on foundation.

I have to admit that I did not ever purchase this product. The ladies at the small boutique where I get my Trish McEvoy were kind enough to send me home with a few samples.
I'm so glad they did because none of the colors matched my skin. I generally wear the second darkest color in any line and am pretty easy to match. I am yellow toned but have rosacea.
I wanted to love this because I love Trish McEvoy's products and I was hoping that it wouldn't flare up my rosacea. Unfortunately, NONE of the colors I tried worked. The main problem is the the closest match to my skin was peach. Yecch.
I've never had this happen where I can't find a color to match me except with notoriously peach Cover Girl foundations. I'm truly perplexed. continued >>

Well, I'm in the minority with my opinion on this one. I am super-duper pale and acne-prone. My usual issues with foundation are that it can either turn pink or orange on me, or else I look like I have an oil slick in my T-zone by midafternoon. After reading the reviews here, I thought this might be a good foundation to try (even though it's extremely expensive, I'd be willing to cough up the $$ for something that's a color match, gives a good finish, and doesn't break me out!)

Unfortunately, this isn't it. The color is right (I used it in light), and it doesn't turn orange or pink. Doesn't seem to break me out, either. However, even with different moisturizers as prep, this tended to leave chalky spots on my skin. The finish is just...blah. Like it's sitting on top of my skin in spots, waiting to be wiped off. Applying with a foundation brush or with fingers made no difference, nor did lighter or slightly heavier (not HEAVY!) applications. Also, by midday, it seems to disappear, as if I never put on foundation at all.

For now, it's back to Mac Studio Fix (color is great, staying power is great, and gives a good finish though I occasionally look oily by midafternoon) or Laura Geller Phenomenal Foundation (my runner-up to Studio Fix--the color's not quite as good on me, but no breakouts, long lasting, and a fabulous finish that doesn't make me look oily.)

I recently attended a Trish McEvoy masterclass at Selfridges in London and met the lovely lady herself! I used to use Dior Pure Light but in photo's i came out like a ghost so decided to try Trish McEvoy's. So i got a sample first and was so happy with it i bought a bottle but the £47 price tag is almost double what i paid for Dior but i guess you get what you pay for.....

I am new to the board, well at least to posting. I have to say I LOVED this foundation, I have used it for over a month now and its just amazing. It takes just a tiny bit, like half of a pump and I have acne and it covers 95% of my flaws and I use just a touch of concealer on bad days. It has not broke me out at all, in fact my skin looks better then ever. I cant find foundation to match my skin very often as I am very pale (think N.Kidman) This foundation is a perfect match in its palest shade.
Quite costly but will last and in my opinion is worth every penny.
EDIT: I have used this foundation for a long time and it suddenly seems to have changed, I loved it at first and the color is amazing BUT it now is starting to sit on top of my skin in a ewwwy gooy mess and is making me itch. I dont know why after all this time it has started to do this but I had to come back and change my rave review as this is far to expensive to have poor results with.....so off to find a new foundation =( too bad too because I am a Trish fan to the core.

Terrible foundation. It just sits on top of my skin. Even Skin is a much better foundation. If you are still intent on trying this one in light of the raves below, get a sample first.

I really wanted to love this foundation, but it gave me a shiny look (my skin is dry) and the colors don't work for me. I tried the light beige and it's very yellow, but no other color was even close to my skin tone. It doesn't melt into the skin, but rather sits on top with a powdery finish - not very natural on me. It does go on very smoothly and my skin actually feels very soft after washing it off, but that's about it. I prefer EL's Enlighten or NARS oil-free. NARS has the most neutral color choices, and both of these foundations sink into the skin and look like skin.

I never thought I would pay $75 for foundation but I'm glad I did. This really is the best foundation I have ever tried and I 've tried tons. Foundation to me is the most important thing to get right and my skin has never looked better. It somehow glosses over all your little flaws, amazing. I love this one!!

I wear Golden Beige in this, its comparable to NC30-NC35, its very forgiving. It provides medium coverage and buildable. Lasts all day and provides a satin dewy finish. The skin treatment benefits is a plus and the pump dispenser is great. It retails $75, on the high end.

I was hooked on Chanel Teint Naturel but it is now d/c. I recently went Trish McEvoy nuts at Saks in Portland. I received a complete makeup application from their regional makeup artist and was sold. I bought practically everything and have been VERY happy. I even purchased the medium makup planner which keeps everything so nice and organized. Tx Foundation is a wonderful foundation. It gives a girl what she wants - not cakey, smooth and long-lasting. It doesn't feel heavy either. I could go on and on about the other products I bought as well.

OK I take back everything I've ever said about any other foundation. THIS IS THE BEST FOUNDATION EVER. I tried them ALL..SKII Kevyn Aucoin, LaPrairie, every mineral makeup on Earth....trust me, you will never see anyone as obsessed with foundation as me and I'm honestly putting every other foundation I own away. I've NEVER said that.
First, I'm kicking myself because I just dropped $45 on Kevin Aucoin's air brush foundation. Great stuff but NOTHING compared to this.
This is it. THE LOOK I've been after. Flawless without looking cakey. Natural without looking....well too natural. It creates just a perfect canvas. My skin glows and just looks FABULOUS all day.
Luckily, my niece works at Nordstrom so I'll get a discount because I have to buy this stuff. I'm living off my samples right now but I can't not buy this...OH MY GOODNESS.
I will say one last thing: I have oily skin so for me, I actually put my powder underneath. AWESOME!

I've been on the hunt for the perfect foundation since the day I started wearing makeup. I'm happy to report that I finally found it. This foundation is expensive, but because it works so well, and I will be using it to the last drop, it will probably be the least costly since all the others I've tried are still in the makeup draw hardly used. The color beige is perfect for me. I'm an NW25. I absolutely love it. I'm also thrilled about the fact that this is formulated for anti aging as well. I have oily skin and use this as my treatment/moisturizer. What I love most is it has better coverage than an tinted moisturizer....more of a traditional liquid foundation type coverage, but it has enough moisture for me. A dryer skin would probably need a separate moisturizer. This is oil free which I love. Any other oil free foundation did not last on me, and any oil based product would eventually break me out and feel heavy. This product lasts, doesn't break me out and never feels heavy. I can't say enough about this foundation. It is HG. Love, love, love it!!!
