Beautiful shade of blush and exactly what I was looking for. I love the fact that it does not show up clownishly pink on my NW35 skintone. Looks very natural, almost like a bronzy pink. I also love the faint gold shimmer and darker pink veins which run throughout it, giving it a bit more dimension. I was surprised at the $28CDN pricetag since I haven't bought a MAC blush in about 7 years, but I did not notice that the quality of their blushes seem to have improved, which is a good sign.

This blush is simply amazing. I have olive skin/green eyes and it compliments me perfectly ! It has a warmness to it that brings my cheeks to life while providing me with a berryish bronzed look. Lasts all day and I've had it for ages. A definite staple in my makeup drawer :)!

I LOVE this product for these reasons:
- it's a beautiful colour
- a little bit goes a looong way, it's really pigmented
- it's buildable
- the shimmer isn't too shimmery if you know what I mean
- it lasts all day and into the evening without touch ups
I'm in love :-D

I am an NC40 and I thought this blush would look really good on me and in the lighting of the MAC store, it did too, but in the day light it made me look like I had orange cheeks, I had to return it immediately and get another one in place of this. Would not repurchase!

Another winner from MAc....I love this blush and I have a hard time choosing between this and Mac's Sweet as Cocoa on any given day!!!!! Love joy gives just the right hint of "rosy cheeks" for my NC50 skin without being too red or clownish! It gives a slight hint of sheer colour which is buildable and can be worn with any makeup colour combination . It also has great staying power. Can't go wrong with lovejoy!

I was debating between this and love thing, and asked the MUA for her opinion. I am NC42 and she thought love thing would be too red for me so i opted for love joy and HOLY bananas! Its so stinkin pretty I love it! Its an amazing day color when applied lightly and can be built up for a night look. The shimmer isnt overpowering, and doesnt emphasize my pores like most shimmer blushes do. This is my first mineralize blush from mac and I am so glad that I picked this color.

I got Love Thing and Love Joy together at the same time.
Again, a late night online MAC website purchase. Wasn't thinking too much into it.
When these arrive, I was like "OMG!! They are super shimmery!" I was afraid I was going to hate them!
I love these! If I was awake and thinking at the time when I purchase these, I seriously would have pass on them, but thank goodness I didn't!
I was actually concern about the pigmentation, but no, absolutely pigmented, with a light hand for application and blended properly this is amazing!
absolutely beautiful flush, and the shimmer add a glow, not overpowering at all!

MAC LoveJoy is a brown rose color with some shimmer. It's a very pretty color and actually shows up very russet almost on my skintone. It lasted about a good four hours before I had to reapply. Overall a good staple for anyone's collection.

This was my first mac blush. Very pretty reddish pinky bronzy look. Very pigmented though so use it lightly and build it up

This was my first blush. Its very pretty on my NW43/45 skin. It's subtle so I just have a pretty blushed look on my face without it being too obvious. I think it's the perfect shade for blush beginners, but also a good blush to keep in your stash.
UPDATE: WHen I first got it, I liked it but I really didn't know how to appy it right. Now that I really know how to apply blush, it really is gorgeous. It gives me a beautiful flushed color that's not over the top. I had forgotten about it and pulled it out and I'm in love again.

This was my first mineralized blush and, unfortunately, I ended up returning it. It is a really pretty multidimensional color that's a mix of brick red, brown, and pink with gold sparkles. The problem is that it didn't show up much on my NW 50 skin. It was just like a highlight with a hint of pink. I really wanted to like this given all the rave reviews, but it just didn't work on me.

I got this in a swap and I LOVE IT! It's the perfect everyday color. I'm going to carry this in my purse because it's the perfect shade for winter and summer. It has a red base and has some shimmer. The shimmer will be noticeable only when you hit the light but isn't outrageous. It is not chalky at all. Reminds me of a more intense version of Warm Soul which I also love. For reference I am NC30. For my skin tone, you need just a little on the brush, but I could imagine it would also work well and deeper skin tones with just a heavier hand.

This is my first MAC Mineralize blush and so far its fantastic!
Its a nice rosey brown with gold shimmer and is very pigmented. One light sweep through this blush is enough for each cheek providing a wonderful pop of color.
I alternate with this and Kevyn Aucion Fira blush, all depending on what mood I'm in and what lipstick/lipgloss I'd be sporting.
Also this blush seems to last forever, its still looks the same when i bought it so I wont be hitting pan anytime soon which is good ( i just try my hardest not to drop it..eeep..)
I really recommend that everyone and anyone try this blush.
Just have in mind that less is more :}

I think this is a wonderful color, even though it is extremely pigmented! One swipe is more than enough for me for each cheek. It is a bronzey brick shade with golden shimmer. Sometimes, I may also add a swipe of "Sunbasque" over it as well for a little extra highlighting, and it becomes such a beautifully combined shade! that way, some of the reddishness gets neutralized just a bit. I almost wish that it was a TAD bit more sheer, because it's all too easy to overdo it with the potential of intensity this has. Looks beautiful paired with Plastique or Coconutty lipstick, and a light application of chestnut liner.

This blush gives me the most perfect warm flush to my cheeks, it just makes your complexion look healthy. It is very pigmented, on my NC37 skin I have to use a light hand when applying it, usually tapping my tapered blush brush into the product twice picks up enough for one cheek. After I apply it to my cheeks I usually use my powder blush to blend it out a bit more so there are no harsh lines.
Unfortunately there must be some ingredient in the MAC Mineralize blushes that is causing my skin to react because I noticed shortly after applying the blush my cheeks started to itch. So sadly this did not work for me but it is still a beautiful color.

My best friend bought this when she went for a mac makeover for her wedding, the MA used it on her. She doesn't really wear make up so after the wedding she gave it to me. I'm a big big fan of pink/bright blushes so at first I thought I wouldn't wear this blush as it looks so dark and brown in the pan. However I have just started wearing bright lipstick (MAC girl about town-fuscia pink) and I noticed that my blushes were clashing slightly with my lippy. I decided to try this blush and it works PERFECTLY. It's like a bronzer but has some shimmer and also a touch of pink so I don't look muddy. I appy it lightly with my 129 and it really does look nice as it does not overpower or clash with my bright lips. I would recommend this if you are looking for a neutral blush that makes you 'glow'. Just make sure you use a light hand and blend with a kabuki afterwards.

This blush gives me a toasty warm look. for the summer. I normally pair it with a dark chocolate lipstick and a little mascara.

this is a very pigmented brown blush. it looks great on NC30 skin and goes well with neutral color shadows and lips. Although I love all the Sonic Chic mineralized blushes, i still have a problem with its staying power, but only because I have oily skin I assume ? other than that, it's perfect for the summer !
