I bought this in the color wicked because I really wanted a lip pencil that would stay on without transferring or bleeding. I've been using it for about five months now and I generally wear it by itself without gloss or lipstick on top or lip balm underneath. Overall this is a very good product that holds up decently well when eating or kissing and it's also waterproof. My only issue is that it can be quite drying especially in the winter time but I combat that be using a lip scrub first.

Reviews for Illegal, Midnight Cowboy, Wallflower:

My HG lip pencil! I first picked up the shade Illegal sight unseen, based on both the reviews here and the 'rosy neutral' color description on Sephora's site. I instantly fell in love with the formula -- smooth, non-drying, and stains the lips to perfection. The color, however, wasn't super flattering on my bare lips. Rather than a 'rosy neutral', I would describe Illegal as a 'peachy nude'. I can't really detect any rosy tones! My lips have a pinkish tone to them and I generally avoid anything too brown/warm/peachy-toned, unless there's a fair amount of pink to off-set it, which there wasn't with Illegal. So I headed to Sephora for an exchange and swatched Illegal next to Wallflower and Midnight Cowboy. All three shades have a similar tone, with Illegal being more peachy (peachy-nude), Midnight Cowboy being more brown (brownish-nude), and Wallflower being more pink (pinkish-nude). I've been looking forever for that elusive "nude" lip liner that would blend in to my lip color beautifully and harmonize with most of my lip colors and Wallflower is it! It looks great against my MAC NC20 skintone, even with just a bit of balm and it doesn't wash me out. Highly recommend!

i love this! i have it in wallflower and its very close to my natural lip color. i use it to add more definition to my lips. It glides on very easily and it lasts better than any lip liner i've tried, it also doesnt feel drying. I think i may have found my HG and id love to try more shades of this i just wish it wasnt a pencil you had to sharpen but im not complaining for it being such a great product.

HG lip liner! Urban Decay doesn't exaggerate when they say that this is the best lip pencil ever. Besides having beautiful subtle colors, they also have a smooth, creamy texture that make these a pleasure to put on. I love these so much that I've actually filled my whole lips with these, then top it off with gloss. I have to single out Heavy and Midnight Cowboy in particular. Heavy is sort of a slightly more brownish sister of MAC's Beurre liner. It's a gorgeous plummy brown (it's described as a "shimmering nude" but is more brownish and not as pale beige as people think when they hear "nude"). Midnight Cowboy is a great neutral, pinky beige for every day. I am normally not even that much of a lip liner fan, yet even I love these. The only possible downside is that these require pretty frequent sharpening (I have the Grind House sharpener for that), but for the color and texture, it's worth it. It also has decent lasting power and complements lip gloss very well. It's worth converting from MAC to these and I highly recommend it.

I love these pencils. They glide on, just like the UD gel eye pencils. On the down side because they're gels, they don't stay on all day. Personally, that ok with me becausey I don't want to be walking around with lip liner and no lipstick, which is what would happen!
I am alway forgetting to re-apply lipstick throughout the day. Nevertheless, when I really want to go all out glam, this is a really good product. The gel picks up the moisture from my lipstick better than the harder pencils and does a better job at keeping my darker shades from feathering, or bleeding.

I have this eyeliner in Paranoid. This particular colour is very flattering - I think that most skin tones could wear it. It's a dark rosey pink. I find the staying power to be quite good on this, especially when paired with a lipstick. I usually put Clinique on top of this liner. I would definitely like to try other colours as well.

Ah, U.D., make this self-sharpening. A major downfall to an otherwise nice product. Probably closer to 3 lippies.

I like the natural color (Wallflower) and creaminess. I use l/l as an allover color so I like to blend it in and this blends well. But I've had it all of three days and the thing'll be gone within a couple weeks if I have to keep sharpening it into oblivion.

I usually use Colorstay's Rose which is a similar color but even though the U.D. trumps it in quality, I'll probably go back because at less than half the cost, the convenience and cost-effectiveness of the twist-up application beats the heck out of the wastefulness of this one. Truth be told, neither U.D. or Colorstay have great staying power but if U.D. would up their game and change the format of the 24/7s, I'd be able to justify the cost and would very likely re-buy.

Wallflower is my HG lip liner. I wear it almost everyday. I have very pigmented lips and this combats the redness and instead tones it down to a nudey pink color. It's creamy yet it stays put pretty nicely. I love it so much I even use it more than Givenchy, and Nars. The only complaint is that it disappears too quickly and it seems like I'm always sharpening it.

While I like this product I was very disappointed with the color I choose, Heavy. I was looking for a natural color and this is not it. The Sephora site calls this "shimmering nude". I would call it neutral but not nude. It is BROWN. Brown with shimmer. No nude/natural lip look for me with this one. I debated between this and Wallflower and clearly my coin was broken that day. I will exchange it for Wallflower.

These are very similar to the MUFE lip pencils (just like the eye pencils are very similar) just different colors. These are creamy and glide on beautifully. They stay on well. They are just plain good!

I have reviewed other specific colors but I wanted to touch on 2 specific colors without their own category. I love these in general, they are very smooth and last longer than most liners (although they are no miracle laster for me). I have owned wicked, heavy, naked and wallflower.
Wicked was too pink for me to pull off and it got swapped. It was a very barbie pink color that I am sure would look awesome on most blonds.

Heavy is called a nude on the website but I found it to be more brown on my fair skin. a bit dark for every day.
Naked is a beautiful color and from what I can see the color (besides ozone) that is most likely to be pulled off by the most people. On me it appears very rosy.

For those who love a lighter nude lip I would go with wallflower. It works well for me for everyday. This is one of their new colors and I had to have it. It is my favorite.

I wish that the caps would stay on the back of the pencil though, it would make it much easier to do my makeup on the go.
