In the tube this looks like a very scary dark brown. When you put it on it is a nice sheer coccoa brown with a slightly glossy finish. It applys smoothly and doesn't dry out my lips or turn falkey. Very pretty. I've loved the formula of the Cargo Lip Sheer Lipsticks.
