I'm really surprised this product isn't more popular. After having success with a turmeric and yogurt face mask in brightening and evening my skin and diminishing clogged pores, I was looking for a skincare product of some kind that contained turmeric, since the mask wasn't convenient enough to use in my regular skincare regimen and stained my skin and towels. At night, I apply Vicco's cream all over my face after washing with my clarisonic (with Himalaya neem & turmeric cleanser), and after it dries, I use jojoba oil to moisturize. I have noticed my skin is incredibly smooth, blackheads and clogged pores reduced, and somewhat more even skin tone. A few times I had pimples healing, I did think that they seemed to heal faster while I was using this. The smell is very strong and may turn some people off. I personally don't find it particularly unpleasant, but it is very odd and distinctive. While I paid way more than I think I needed to for this cream (it was hard to find), online it is possible to pay very little for it. I definitely would rebuy, because I think this is really a multi-use product, being a spot treatment and tone enhancer in one. continued >>

Pros:
Relatively cheap
Gives Oily/combo skin a nice matt feel after washing
Keeps pimples, hyper-pigmentation and other skin blemishes at bay
Lasts a long time
Easy use dispense from the tube
..And I'm not too sure but I think it is Natural product. In any case it's quite close because its Ayurvedic.

Cons:
Can be tough to find if you aren't close to any Indian/Arabic/North African convenience stores or outlets
Smell can be off putting to some (does diminish with use and doesn't linger on skin too much)
Can make you go yellow if you dab on too much. This will only be an issue if you are pale skinned.

Overall it's my go to moisturiser. I will not use anything else... EVER!

I've used this product for 6 months. I've noticed the following: fewer dark spots, less pimples, and surprise, less hair growth. Come to find out, Turmeric (which is the main ingredient) does all the these things. I've use both formulas ( with and without Sandalwood oil) I can't tell the difference between the two. I will continue to use this p

Sadly the texture broke me out. I have tried this twice over periods of a couple of months and the result was always the same: pimples. Too bad since this is an inexpensive way to see if turmeric works for you without having to worry about staining. Turmeric is supposed to be anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and have strong anti-oxident properties. I've had better results so far with a mask also containing olive oil and honey.

I ABSOLUTELY laaaaaaaaaaaav this product. It's been clearing my acnes since I was 14. I stopped using it recently cuz I wanted to try some new products but ended up suffering from pimples. :| Hence, I am gonna switch back to it again. :)

I've been applying the version with sandalwood oil to my back acne for a few weeks now and it seems to have cleared up nicely. AHAs and BHAs have never worked on that area and benzoyl peroxide is far too drying so it feels great to use something a little more natural (despite the parabens, ahem).
I also used it on my face a couple times, but while it didn't seem to have any adverse effect on my skin the smell was far too strong for me and actually triggered a migraine :(

ETA: This ended up breaking me out. Would probably work as an occasional treatment but I'm too paranoid to try it again.

My H.G. for spot treatment. I use the original cream with sandalwood liberally on spots and they fade away without scars. Not overnight results, but works every time. I tried tea tree oil briefly and went back to this.

Very good product for my oily skin. It goes on almost like a cold cream/oil-in-water emulsion, then absorbs into skin and provides a matte finish. I am trying to use this to even my skin tone (I use everywhere but T-zone). The scent can be a bit overpowering at first but you get used to it. I'd only wear it to bed/at home.

I don't see any issues with staining clothes or skin so far. I am a pale white girl with mild sun damage on cheeks and forehead. I used this after a 20% salicylic acid peel and it relaxed my skin so much. Usually a moisturizer makes my skin oily within an hour, but an appropriate amount of Vicco keeps my skin perfectly balanced.

First of all, I have this WITH SANDLEWOOD OIL and recommend that version over the one without.

Vicco is a miracle product because it's time-tested, it works and it's dirt cheap. That, to me, is a miracle.

The cream is moisturizing and mattifying, both -- perfect for combination, acneic and/or sensitive skin. It's high turmeric content attacks blemishes, fades discoloration and reduces facial hair growth. It's natural, ayurvedic and has been used for decades in India.

My good friend borrowed my cream for a large, red, puss-filled zit. The next day -- poof, it was gone.

I use this personally for general skin health and to mattify my t-zone when I'm heading out the door.

I like the packaging because it's simple and effective. You don't need to stick your finger in a pot and the opaque material keeps the sun away. By the way, keep this away from direct sunlight to maintain the turmeric's effectiveness.

If you need a bit more moisture, add a few drops of argan or neem oil.

I highly recommended it for almost all skin types.

I have been using this product (with sandalwood) off and on for a month. Which translates to me using this whenever I remember and I don't remember often. Anyhow I've noticed the clearing of hyperpigmentation left over from acne I've had for years. Over the years I have used Proactiv, 2% Hydroquinone, homemade remedies (lemon and cucumber, diluted acv, potato skins) - none of which has given me such quick results without burning and worsening the condition of my skin. Within the time frame that I have used this product, I would estimate that my hyperpigmentation is 30-40% lighter. Unlike Hydroquinone, I haven't noticed any blotchiness caused by this product nor has it broken me out. I am quite pleased with it thus far and will continue using it to clear the hyperpigmentation on my face.

I gave this product 4 lippies because of the strong overwhelming scent. This can easily be resolved if I had purchased the cream wso.
