Years ago, I found this lipstick burried in a bin of discontinued cosmetics, each for a dollar. I adore the way it looks on me. I get many compliments on it, and many people ask me what it is. It's a hot pink lipstick, but it appears shiny and glossy on the lips - not quite opaque. It's very flattering with my tan/olive skin (NC35). I am seeking a (cruelty-free) dupe for it, but haven't had success yet. The colour is easy to mimic, but the formula is what I'm having trouble with. It has a creamy, smooth texture when applied. It doesn't LOOK or FEEL like lipstick. It's very glossy and shiny; the staying power is above average.

My second foray into the world of Cover Girl Trushine Lipcolor, I opted for a bolder lipcolour, believing this time their claim that the product was "flattering on 97%* of skin tones" would fail. And wow this was possibly the best beauty moment for me EVER because I realized that even with my pale skin and freckles, I could still pull off bold lipstick! It's unfortunate that the actual product is immersed in so much sucktitude. It just didn't last long enough and I could never find myself using it. Also it was annoying that the cap always came off in my bag.
