I purchased this quad last year around spring time to play around with colors without spending too much money. My favorite shades have got to be the orange and deep blue. I love to use the orange all over the lid, but you do have to pack it on....it's not the best quality shadow but it's really pretty if you work with it. I don't feel bad packing on the shadow since the quad was so cheap anyway. Then, I love to use a mixture of the two blues underneath the eye. Perfect tropical look without trying to hard. I dislike the lime green/yellow shade, it's hardly pigmented at all even if you try to build it up, and it just ends up looking chalky. Still a decent quad.

I bought this quad a few months ago, mainly because it had nice-looking orange & blue colors, which are my school colors. I had wanted to wear them for sporting events & such. The colors go on pretty much exactly how they look (for my skin-tone, anyways). The blue is a nice, dark, sparkly color. The teal is probably one of my favorite colors I own-- it's a pretty sea-green, & it looks really pretty when I fade in some white with it. The orange is great, & isn't a blaze orange (though I do like the blaze orange color, just not on my eyes). It blends well with white if you want to lighten it. & the yellow is nice, but I don't use it much. Yellow on my lids looks weird, but I found blending it with the blue looks nice, if you use white in between them. & if you don't have a neutral quad, you can blend the orange & yellow just right to make a brown-ish neutral color. I love this product, & it will definitely be purchased again once I finish it. continued >>

I have been eyeing this quad for a few months now and it was finally on sale for 5.99 cdn instead of 6.99 cdn and I HAD to grab it. I really like this quad because since I wear glasses and I rarely put on my contacts I need colors that pop behind my glasses and this does the job. I'll take the jade green and put it all over my lid and on my lower lash line, then take the dark blue and use it in the outter V and use it over the jade on my lower lash line. After I take the orangey looking color and use it in my crease and take the lime green and use it as my highlight. I find my eyes pop and the look is amazing! The reason I gave this a 4 though is because the orange color can be a bit powdery. I'm glad I was able to find a wearable look using all of the colors. It's a great spring/summer quad and since spring is coming up I highly suggest you buy this!

I Like This Eyeshadow For Under My Lower Waterline. I Do My Black or Brown Winged Liner On Top, Nothing In My Water Line, And the Color I Want Right Under It. I Find These colors Super Pigmented For That. However, I Do Use A Swipe Of UDPP Under It For Staying Power And Increase In Pigmentation/Stick. You Can Also Probably Dip Your brush in Water or Contact Solution (The Titanium Dioxide Will Intensify Color and Staying Power).
I Haven't Tried Them For All Over Lid. And I Probably Won't Finish This Quad, But if i did: Repurchase.!

Covergirl's Tropical Fusion quad containing a bright deep blue, a turquoise, a peachy orange, and a bright light green. This quad retails for $6.99. Boyfriend bought this for me as a gift, it was purchased at Giant Eagle.
Packaging is a blue see-thru pan with a clear plastic lid. The compact seems cheap and flimsy, but at least its not hard to open. A double sided sponge tip applicator was included, but it was rough and oddly shaped, so I tossed it.Visually this quad is appealing because of the combination of bright colors.
Pigmentation of these shadows is pretty impressive, especially for Covergirl. The turquoise shade is particularly pigmented. The orange shade, while still decently pigmented, isn't quite as colorful as the rest of the shades, and kinda seems out of place. I haven't quite figured out a way to work it into a look that includes the other 3 colors. Well I have, but it didn't look good.
Even though they're pigmented, these shadows need a little help. They're a bit powdery and can get muddy when blended. I suggest using them over a white base like NYX White Eyeshadow Base.
All of these shades are matte, except the turquoise which has some shimmer. They're very easily blended for matte shadows. They blend a little too well actually, and when over blended can become muddy. But with careful, light blending these shadows can transition seamlessly and create a very pretty gradient effect.
I get about 6 hours of wear before a bit of fading sets in. Creasing is also minimal and sets in about the same time. I can't speak for how these shadows work without primer.
All up this quad is ok. Pigment and blending are good. Wear is ok. But not as good as I'd like for $7. Admittedly I only bought this quad because of the hype on YouTube like two years ago. I think it lived up to the hype well. I recommend trying it, its one of Covergirl's better eyeshadows. But hopefully you're able to pick it up on sale or with a coupon. And bless you if you can find a way to incorporate all four shades in a pretty look.

I really like the lime green and orange colors. I only use the blue and teal colors on special occasions, but when I feel like wearing those colors on normal days, I only apply them on my lid and blend some white eyeshadow into the color to make it less dark.

The blue and the teal-sea-green are beautiful. They are quite intensely pigmented and have a sligthly shimmery-metallic look. (although not a whole lot). Both these colors have pretty decent lasting power and are quite easy to blend and overall good quality.
The orange-peachy color is less pigmented, but it works as an everyday lid color for me.
The lime-green color never ever shows up on me and might show up in lighter skins, but i dont really see the point of that color as its not even pretty and its bad quality anyways, but then when did you last buy a palette where you liked ALL the colors in it?
So in conclusion, this palette is a nice buy if you get sudden whims to wear bright colors shadow (like I do) and don;t want to spend a fortune for those 25-odd days in a year when you do wear them.
I apologize for over use of hyphens :-|

I love this product, it's my number one summer eyeshadow. I don't really use it for just eyeshadow though! First I take my eyeliner and apply it to my waterline, and then i run the dark blue powder over it, it lasts allllll day and it really makes my hazel eyes pop. Then i will line the turquoise or the lime color on my top lid. I always get complements when i do that combo and just add some mascara and a nice warm bronzer. My favorite. Or a nice gold on top with the blue on bottom is more subtle. I loveee this shadow! I'm on my 3rd set, and they last me for a really long time, unless it breaks, which I do a lot because i take my make up with me everywhere. Try it outttt! (:

I heard a lot of hype about this quad a couple of summers ago and decided to try it out. The shades are quite nice. I have not tried them all to together on the eye, but individually, they are pretty. In order, most pigmented going first: Royal blue, teal, coral, lime. If you wanted to try this out, it is under $5 at Walmart. I would recommend buying this if you want some fun colors. Overall, a decent drugstore palette.

Nothing special I find it just fades.. Maybe I have greasy lids! I'm going to invest in some nicer shadows as this just sits in my make up drawer.. Boo!

When I saw this, I felt like I just HAD to have it! I was super disappointed by the lime color. It looks nice in the pan, but it doesn't show up at all. The orange is ok, but the real stand out colors are the green and blue :) Unfortunately, the lid broke in my purse and a huge chunk of the blue fell out and got into everything :( Not the best packaging

The blue is my favorite and I wear it all the time but its best to wear with a primed eye lid to prevent creasing since it is such a dark color. The Green is just as pigmented but the orange and yellow are a little bit softer.and can be used as crease colors more than lid colors. Overall I would say that the green and blue are great enough colors that if they were sold individually I would buy just that.

I hate covergirl, but i saw this and had to get it. The blues are very pigmented, the orange looks nothing like it does in the pan(not pigmented at all) and the yellowish shade takes layering to build it up. These are very smooth to apply, but they dont last long at all on my lids. I like using the yellowish shade on my lower lashline if im doing some fun colorful looks since its pretty, but i dont really use this quad much. If your new to color, get this since its more of a 'starter' quad to me.

Lovely, fun and vibrant colors with excellent color payoff. It's not powdery, and it's cheap - all around a very good buy. Despite all of them being loud colors, they are fun to mix and match with other palettes and are gorgeous being used in smokey eyes look. The blue and green especially, are my favorites. Very nice. :)

Bought this after seeing several YouTube videos using it. The colors show up very well and are so pretty for spring and summer. But they also seem to crease and fade pretty easily, even on top of my UDPP. I even questioned my primer for a moment but used it the next day with some different shadows (W 'n W) and had no problems.
I'll keep using from time to time (maybe as more of an accent that all over color), but won't repurchase.

I'm not loving this quad, nor do I absolutely hate it. I have different feelings about different shades within the compact.. Let me start with the deep blue..Its a lovely color, but also very generic, basic, crayon blue. Not a color I can wear without layering it to create a different shade. Its rather pigmented, but also hard. In that, I mean it is hard to pick up the color from the little pan. I have to really rub my brush over and over and over it to pick up enough to actually get onto my lid. The turquoise is my favorite from this compact. Again, it is nicely pigmented (even without a base) and strangly it is softer and comes out without having to use the brush to dig it out. Third in the compact is a salmon orange shade. I'm not in love with this color, but I like it enough that it is rated just below the turquoise. I may give it more of a chance come the spring. The color itself looks nice next to my blue eyes. Its also fairly soft...not as much as the turquoise, but certainly several steps up from the blue. Lastly is a yellow-green color. Its kind of chalky, very sheer, and the more you try and pack it on...the worse it looks. I wouldn't repurchase this trio because though I semi-enjoy two colors out of the four, those are VERY easily duped for the same price or very near the same price, but the quality would be better.

I really like the colors! They're so bright and different from most drugstore eyeshadows. I agree that the pigmentation isn't the best, but its good compared to other drugstore stuff. My favorite color is definitely the teal color, and I love using these in the spring, since they remind me of spring lol. The price is really cheap to me, and overall I like the Covergirl eyeshadows even if they're not the best quality, but for drugstore, their good enough for me

Okay i dont really like this product. The pigmentation is average. What i really DONT like is that after a few hours all these colors blend out into eachother and become a weird muddy color. They are too POWDERY and soft.. Lots of fallout too. The colors are pretty but just dont last looking that way. These just blend into eachother and look gross. Im not a fan of covergirl eyeshadows. They have never been good quality.

This quad is eyecatching, bright and fun to use. Not bad quality for drugstore - I've never purchased anything from CG before but these caught my eye and I couldn't resist. I wasn't blown away by them, the pigmentation isin't as good as I could have hoped but they're not terrible. I guess I'm fairly ambivalent about them, but tending more towards liking them than not.
The lime green is a little bit powdery but does smooth out OK - it gives a nice greeny-gold sheen and reminds me a tiny bit of MAC Bitter. It blends nicely with the orange, which is the shade I like the most. Very unusual and unique, not a colour I've seen duped a lot. The bright teal and cobalt blue are reasonably intense, good to use as liners though you do have to be careful applying these as they don't blend as well as some.
This maks a fun, summery look and pairs nicely with bronzer, a peachy/coral cheek and nude lips.

One of three eye enhancers that I own. Break down of the four shades in this quad:
BLUE: This shade is sooo pretty and well pigmented. I can do so many combos with this and my other shadows
TEAL: Compliments the blue very well and also well pigmented
ORANGE-Y: Its ok when I use it with the blue and teal. I find it not as pigemented as the first two.
LIME: Eh. Not much to say about this one other than I dont like it.
