Got a sample as an extra in a swap and tried it out. Fell in love. I have repurchased again and again and will continue to. The tube lasts a long time as I only use it every few weeks, as needed. Great around my time of the month to combat hormonal acne, great after a night out with heavy makeup and greasy food/drinking. A nice purge, I guess. Gets rid of extra oil without being overly drying and tight. I put it on before I shower and leave on about 5 - 7 minutes, rinse off in the shower. Price is steep but I consider it worth it, my skin can be finicky so to have something that makes it better is worth it to me. I like the squeeze tube as it allows me to control the amount needed.

A little bit of luxury. I do think that this mask helps to control sebum production without overdrying skin. But sometimes, I wasnt all dirt suckled out - this doesnt do it.
I use the Bentonite Clay for that.

But I still like this one. Would repurchase if it were on sale - but probably will not buy it at full price again. There are other good ones for less. For example, Aubrey Organics Blue Green Algae Mask is another excellent face mask that also softens and helps sebum production, and its about $8 and the ingredients are all natural.

I am seeing absolutely amazing results using the Clear Skin line. I had horrible cystic acne that leaves angry scars. This in combination with the other products (peel, serum and blemish dissolver) has stopped the cysts from forming and now I just get small pimples (if any at all) that go away the next day. It goes on very sheer and after 10 mins almost disappears but I still wash it off. I have tried everything under the sun and have not found anything that truly helps my skin. I cannot express how much these products have changed my life -- I feel confident and my skin looks really good! :D

As acne masks go, Kinerase's Clear Skin Regulating Mask is pretty darn good. It's light, easy to apply, and dries without making your skin feel tight and stretched like many acne masks. However (as nearly everyone has mentioned), this isn't enough to justify the $56 for 2.8 ounces price tag.
I only use acne masks maybe every other week, so I'm not really an expert on the subject. I did find this mask to be more pleasant that my usual Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask, though. The Kinerase left my skin less red and my pores smaller. If the Clear Skin Regulating Mask was as cheap as the Mint Julep Mask, I'd be singing its praises from the rooftop. But as it stands, I've used up my large Kinerase sample and won't be rushing to replace it anytime soon. Unless I fall into a pile of money, that is.

This mask certainly didn't worsen the state of my skin, but it's done nothing to improve it. I'm very clog- and cystic acne-prone, with dehydrated, scarred facial skin. Typically I do well with green clay masks, and I'd used one from Kiss My Face happily for years but wanted to try something more clinical. This mask doesn't dry or tighten like most clay masks, but it also just doesn't do much of anything. I still have half the sample tube lying around because I just can't find any reason to waste 20 minutes with it on my face.

I received a sample of this and I really liked this product. I used to have very oily/acne prone skin as a teen and this would have been fantastic then. The mask REALLY draws out all the sebum from your skin but for me it was too drying and I had to apply moisturizer like crazy. I deducted 1 lippie because it is quite expensive but if you have oily/acne skin, I think this product is worth a try.

This costly ($55 for 2.8 oz) mask from Kinerase is reasonably effective, but the results don't surpass those of countless similar products. It uses clay (Kaolin and green), kinetin, salicylic acid, Avocutine and Evodiox to promote clear and smooth skin, but I prefer basic clay masks with sulfur or benzoyl peroxide. This probably works best for those who have breakout-prone dry or combo skin, as it doesn't fully dry thus stripping moisture. All in all this is an adequate treatment, but not worth the hyped up description or the price tag.

I can't speak for the effects of continuous use, but I received a deluxe sample and was not impressed. I prefer the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask, which is a bargain at $3.

I have repurchased this mask several times. This may not work for everyone, but it has been a savior for my skin. I usually use this 2 times a week to give skin a deep cleaning. This along with the Kinerase clear moisture light completely changed my skin. I have very oily, acne-prone skin and by using these products diligently my skin stays completely clear. I highly recommend this to anyone with acne prone skin, and yes I have tried many other masks from cheap Queen Helene to more expensive brands and nothing compares to this.

This is nice, but not $55 nice. I am currently using a sample from Sephora, which lasted me several applications. It's a greyish runny texture and dries on the face like a typical clay mask would. It smells minty/like menthol and is easy to apply. After washing it off, my skin feels softer, but it actually aggravated several of my blemishes into full whiteheads instead of drying them out. To be honest, I'd rather use Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask because it's more effective and only $3.

Received this as a sample from Sephora. I don't have acne prone skin but do get the token TOTM blemishes on my chin. This arrived during that time and I used it for three nights in a row due to the condition of my skin at that time and it cleared up my chin within that time. In fact I saw results after one use with no dryness or flakiness. I will be incorporating this into my skin care routine during that TOTM to see if I can ward off the problem blemishes. Although it is a clay/mud like texture it smelled like Eucalyptus which was very pleasant. It was also very easy to spread. I do not have oily skin but can see where an individual with oily skin would benefit from using this product once a week as it claims to have "micro sponges that soak up excess sebum".

I bought this with high hopes, which is probably the only reason I kept trying and trying with it in spite of the fact that it just didn't do much.
I find that it helps reduce acne however does absolutely nothing for blackheads, which is mostly what I'm going for when I use a mask. . .that or the feeling that my face has had something happen to it but I'm pretty convinced that my face would have been the same had I not even bothered with the stuff.

I am on my second tube of this product. This is a non-drying clay mask. Contains montmorillonite clay, kaolin, salicylic acid, herbal extracts, kinetin, caffiene, and the magic ingredient for me, butyl avocadate. Butyl avocadate is derived from avocado oil. What is does it to decrease oil production which in effect diminishes acne. This really did work to prevent my non-stop cystic acne problem on my forehead. I used this every night for 8 weeks. Using it a couple times a week isn't gonna cut it as you need to use something daily to inhibit excess sebum production. I now also use the Kinerase Clear skin light lotion in the morning which also contains butyl avocadate and the mask at night. I also use a 10% glycolic acid lotion and I am finally getting results from this combination of products. Contains parabens. Note: As soon as I finish up my second tube of this, I am switching to using the Clear skin light lotion twice daily because it does not contain parabens.
