Another favorite product of mine, and a staple at our house!
My BF even find this mixes perfectly with Aloe Vera gel to treat sunburn :D
The brand is cruelty free, which is essential for me.

Hate to give this a bad review. I love all of the other Yes To Carrots prodects. I was excited to try this. The smell is horrid and I can't get past it. I washed my hands three times to get the stench off. I saw that they made a new one and the one I tried is the older one. Hopefully the new one is better!

I bought this on Clearance at CVS for about $5. It's not bad for a cheap handcream- I tear mine up from work and climbing. It absorbs quickly, but it's not particularly nourishing and I hate the smell.

I am constantly on the search for the HG hand cream. I have oily skin everywhere on my body except my hands. They need help! Cuticles so dry, they crack and bleed often.
I like this hand cream. I love that is has no scent. I am looking for performance not fluff. It absorbs well. It doesn’t make my hands perfect but it does help keep them under control.

I LOVE this moisturizing cream! Ive had dry hands for years and years, and no matter what I used or how heavy and rich the cream was, nothing fully cured my hands. I used so many products but nothing worked until now. I wasnt expecting much from this but I was so wrong. Before using this, I had dry and cracking skin, it was unattractive and painful. But now, my hands feel and look smooth and are incredibly soft! Im almost addicted in using this because it gives such good results, i will definitely repurchase and would recommend this to others!

I used to love this hand cream. When the packaging was changed recently, the formula was, too. It now has a very off-putting scent. Reminds me of cat pee. Used it a few times and then the almost-full tube went into the trash. Yuck.

I have really dry hands and this didn't cut it for me unfortunately.
Ok smell, and soaks in well. Just no deep or long lasting moisturising power.

Update 5-14-11 They changed this product. I bought some today. Put it on and noticed a waxy, sticky, and greasy feel. And the stronger, odd, smell gave me an asthma attack. Checked the ingredients, and they changed it majorly! If you buy this based on old reviews, you may be able to return the open product to the store.

The previous, below mentioned, product review I did was before they changed it. (This is not the same as they are selling now.)
The entire Yes To Tomato and Carrot skin line is wonderful! It leaves my skin, soft and youthful looking. (Watch the cucumber butter though, with alcohol as a top ingredient. I noticed that something was off with the product before I even noticed the alcohol.)
The hand and elbow cream is absoluetly marvelous! Not sure how it does it, but it evens out my skin tones. Almost makes my skin look a shade lighter. And a quite lovely shade at that.
When I use this, my hands have no visible tiny creases on the backs. (Not even after it is washed off.) I am 46 years old, and my hands look more youthful than that of a thirty year olds. The skin on my hands is very plump looking, vs thin and frail.
Now the elbows.... I have dark, rough scaly elbows. And I have tried everything on this planet to get rid of this problem. I even have tried $250 creams. This is the only product that has gotten rid of it. And this effect doesn't go away immediately with washing either.
I have read reviews on this site many times. But have never written one myself. But I think this company deserves credit for putting out an exceptional product. I am a face and body cream addict. And my search has finally ended.

When I first saw this product line at Rite Aid, I laughed. I thought it was the silliest name for a line EVER. But this winter has been really rough on my skin and the line was buy one get one free so I thought I'd give it a shot. I LOVE this hand cream. (Heh - I almost typed hand dream.) It feels great on my frequently washed hands and parched elbows and seems to instantly sink in. I like the scent which is pleasant and light. (Usually I can't stand scents of any kind.) This has replaced Neutrogena Hand Cream as my winter skin saver.

This is the best ever hand cream I've ever used. And I do use hand creams a lot and tried huge range, as I have a tendancy towards dry hands. But none of them was as good as this one. It moisturizes perfectly, the skin remains very soft but not greasy. My husband has very dry hands and his skin sometimes cracks up in cold weather, and this is the only cream that stopped that. It's organic and fuul uf natural ingredients. I totally reccomend it!

I am in love with the whole brand and want to buy every single product from them! They don't test on animals and have mostly natural products which is rare in the shops. This cream is great. It sinks in instead of sitting on top and does a good job of moisturizing. I like the subtle powdery smell of carrots. It is a bit more pricey than other common hand creams but at the same time you get a huge tube which is double or even tripple the size of most hand creams. Definitely worth it!

I love this lotion! I've already gone through a few bottles of this stuff and it's great. At first I thought it smelled like baby powder, but the more I used it, the more I could smell the carrots, and the scent really grows on you. It really moisturizes my hands without making them feel greasy. My only complaint is that the bottle is over 100ml, so it's too big to bring on an airplane, which really sucks because I would love to carry this on a flight with me!

I love the yes to carrots line (I also use the shampoo and the daycream) so when I found that there also exists a hand cream I had to buy it.
First of all, I love the smell. All the yes to carrots products leave a clean, but lovely soft smell on you after use.
I also like, similar to the daycream, that this leave a bit of an layer on your skin that gives my hands a protected and moisturized feeling. In have very dry hands(especially with the skin around my nails) and this makes my skin very soft and smooth. I dislike a lot of handcreams because they feel very oily on my skin and take a long time to sink in. This one doesn't exactly sink in, but it doesn't give a lingering dirty moist feeling. It does leave your hands very soft.
Another pro is that you can use this cream on your elbows, and it works wonders!
A con is that I feel like I have to apply it a couple of times during the day when using my hands a lot, but I guess that can be expected. The price is another con, but the cream is multifunctional and comes in a big hygenic tube.

This is my second Yes To Carrots purchase, and I am very happy with it! My skin gets dry in the Nebraska winter, and this has helped considerably. I know some people don't like the smell, but I think it is lovely. The cream is thick, and sinks in fast but has great staying power. I am going to definitely purchase more of this line!

This is a great hand cream. Good ingredients, and it seems to keep my hands in nicer condition than the petroleum based hand creams. I prefer the Yes to Cucumbers hand cream in general, but this is great too.

I've become a believer in the Yes To line. The fragrance was not immediately appealing, being a bit powdery, but it grows on you as the product works so well. I find the cream more moisturizing than the tub of body butter, and better absorbed into my skin. In the winter the skin on my hands cracks. In the past Zim's crack cream was my only salvation. Daily use of ordinary creams just couldn't keep up. Using this has been much nicer on the olfactories than the Zim's. I'm not sure how this would work if your hands are already cracked, but for maintenance, is dreamy.

This is a nice cream. I use it mostly for my hands and I think it moisturizes really well. I like that it does absorb pretty quickly and softens my hands immediately and then the moisture lasts, even after you wash your hands. It’s a pretty good value since the tube is larger than the average hand cream. The one issue is that it can get kinda waxy when I put a lot on, which is too bad, since at night I really like to slather my hands with cream.

This is an okay hand cream. When I first got it , I liked it a lot, since it makes skin immediately smooth. Now that my hands are drier, it doesn't seem to offer deep or lasting moisture. I guess it would be better in the summer, maybe my hands are too dry due to the cold weather. It's a good, solid, basic hand cream. I keep it in my desk at work and so far no one who has borrowed it has said anything (good or bad) about the texture or the scent so I guess I'm not the only one who is a little "meh" about this.

If you at all suffer from dry elbows this is the cream for you! I have suffered and applied more creams than you can imagine but just one application was enough to convince me this was a winner. It heals dry, chapped elbows and heals. I also adore it as a handcream. You can actually still feel it on your hands after you wash them. Great overall moisturizer. I wish the flip toop to the tube was a little strudier and that they offered this is a smaller handbag friendly size.

This is HG all the way! It takes one use to create silky smooth hands, keeps them nice and smooth all day. Has a slight fragrance, but I don't mind it and typically if a product is gonna work great it smells horrible. This is a slight shea butter or slight floral smell. I am sure you could use the tester and see if this would drive you nuts or if you love it. Personally I will be swapping all my lotions and only purchasing this forever. Please Please Please keep this available.......
