This product is fantastic. It's matte and ideal for men. If you're a woman, it would be easy to use under lipstick. PDD (UVA protection) 38, SPF 50+. I apply it on my lips and I've never had a problem. Easy to reapply after eating or drinking. Great and it looks like almost nothing is on your lips.

This product really protect lips from the harmful UV rays!
There is a little bit funny taste when applied on the lips but this is common on high SPF lip products anyway.

I have been buying this sunscreen lip balm for years now, it is the best of its kind and the only one I'll use. I've tried Avene's (very whitening) and various other types of sun protection for lips but none have the high protection of the Bioderma. It is SPF 50+ with an outstanding UVA protection PPD of 38 and it leaves no white cast. I have dry lips but this is quite moisturizing. It's the only lip balm I'll wear outdoors.

This is my favorite high-protection SPF lip balm. Why? Unlike the Avene Stick SPF 40 & the La Roche-Posay Anthélios Sunscreen Stick SPF 50+ where I must follow up both with some type of clear lip gloss to mask the awful whitening effect, the Photoderm MAX Sunscreen Stick SPF 50+ leaves no white cast. I can wear it on its own if I wish and apply without having to check my rearview mirror. Plus, I love the no-nonsense packaging - just one hand required - not to mention the kind of potent UVA filtering simply not available in the U.S., and with a retail at under $15 (in other words, be wary of Internet price-gougers who have the nerve to list it at $30 or more), this SPF lip balm is truly one of a kind. continued >>
