This gave me a HORRIBLE allergic reaction. I get seasonal allergies to ragweed and I was applying a sample of this from Sephora every morning and evening and I thought it was my allergies acting up but then I realized it was this eye cream! My eyes would literally start to puff up and water and turn red and I do not have sensitive eyes. Apparently this cream contains vitamin K and this is one of the few proven effective treatments for dark circles but the reaction I got from it wasn't worth me trying it for a long period. I used it for about a week. I did not see a difference in my blue-purple dark circles (which literally do look like bruises) and I actually found this to be rather greasy. It claims to reduce puffiness which I get a bit of in the morning and it did not do this. I will keep my very generous sample from Sephora and try it out on any bruises I get on my body (away from my face!!) to see if the claims about it making bruises disappear are true or not. For $110 this is WAY to much for the teeny tiny tube you get. I'm not sure how B.Kamins bio-maple schtick works but I think that's probably what caused my allergic reaction. They need to lower their prices.

this eye cream from b. kamins is one of the few on the market that contains vitamin k (peter thomas roth and ddf are the only two others that i can think of right now). vitamin k is recommended for someone who has blue (rather than black) dark circles under their eyes. blue dark circles are caused by thin skin and no amount of bleaching agents can lessen them. traditional bleaching agents actually thin the fragile skin under the eyes out more and worsen the problem. vitamin k is said to have the opposite effect on the undereye area. the vitamin k in this product is supported by copper and zinc peptides (also said to help strengthen the skin). this product makes me into a vitamin k believer. after only 4 weeks of use, my blue circles seemed much less prominent and after 8 weeks, i was able to use much less undereye concealer than ever before. this product is getting harder to find overall. it used to be carried in bbw flagships and in sephora but now it can only be found on the sephora website and on the b.kamins website. a 0.5 tube lasted me over 6 months with twice a day use. i never want to have to switch!
